Something that just caught my attention was the way Manik just lost his temper when Nandini accused him of sending those goons. It was almost as if he couldn't believe she could even imagine he would stoop so low. Much less accuse him of it.

He is silent all along but when she calls him an monster and starts throwing accusations at him, that's when he just lets go. And that was the most telling of it all. Dhruv being hurt was already straining on him but Nandini's outburst was almost like the last straw that broke the camel's back!

I have a theory about Manik's character and it came from this scene. Manik wants people to know him as he wants them to knows. He is all bad and atrocious and his past deeds actually support Nandini's accusation. But Manik didn't like it. Because he never intended to make anyone think that he can stoop so low as to send goons to harass a girl. His deeds go so far as humiliating a girl in public by making her wipe his shoes but not to the extent that he would harass in such a manner. Nandini's accusation were all logical. But since Manik did not want her to think this bad for him, he snapped.

I know I am not making much sense but it's like...he doesn't want the other person to assume stuff from him. He wants them to judge him according to his present actions, the way he so carefully thinks and executes. But that's not how things usually work. He just wants it to work like that..
