I'm not sure _what_ to make of AK's lack of initiative when it comes to bettering his own life. He's so very indecisive about anything - it's like he is terrified of taking one step unless he gets the entire world saying that it's the right thing to do. Very very un-early-AK-like.
Notice that I didn't slave over the AK bits in the write up. :-(

IMHO, I think we were getting it - perhaps, the way that Prithvi's face fell in each of the previous episodes that we had KS showing more and more signs of falling back in with AK was too subtle?
But yes, I did find the severe contrast between the Prithvi being Saint Prithvi in the previous episodes very discordant with the Prithvi being Insane Prithvi in this one. The strangest part, I guess, was that both sets of scenes were equally convincing.
BTW, I don't think it was the acting alone: the script and the picturisation and the cinematography all together worked. I wasn't as compelled by only the acting, I think, or I certainly couldn't tell. It was very very good, but in all honesty, I think that standalone MIKhan in the early episodes of KYPH were superior quality than this one, because the acting was superb despite silly situations and silly script.
