"The best thing about loving and being hurt is that you get to know what true love really is. For as gold is tested in fire, and so will love be perfected in pain."
Love redeemed Angad of his mistakes and sins and similarly it will redeem Kirpa of her injustice and cold-heartedness……the fact is that these two truly love one another from the core of their heart and from the depths of their souls and hence all bitterness, animosity and acrimony will be washed away once things are sorted out between them. Angad will forgive Kripa because he has no anger in him for what happened, since he was burning in his private hell out of his own choice, as a redemption for what he had unconsciously done to the woman he loved. Kripa meanwhile had anger and resentment in her because she was not aware of the truth and she chose to believe what her eyes saw, rather than what her heart showed her.
True love has the power to both blind your eyes and to open it also…….it just depends on what you are willing to let it do. For Angad, the situation was that he couldn't escape the thought of Kripa even for a moment. Before his eyes, he saw Kripa moving on so fast, while he kept living in the past. He blinded himself to love yet it opened his heart, making him a selfless, devoted and loyal person…..Kripa who was blinded by love, decided to open her eyes, yet let her heart seal to what was her one and only love.
Kripa and Angad's love is painful and heartbreaking because they are both so vulnerable and helpless in the face of it, much more than what ordinary people are. While one is ready to give up her self-respect and honor for the man she loves, knowing and trusting him completely, the other is willing to sacrifice every bit of his life, believing that life is worth living only to see a smile on his beloved's face.
''A Heart in pain, it's me that must say, a pain that I'm trying so hard to make it fade, but it's there, like if pain has lost it's way home..
A heart in pain, devastated by words expressed, pain inflicted not caring the less, a sunset turned to clouds a dark place puts my heart to the test, how much more can this heart take before it takes it's final rest..
A heart in pain, a black cloud surrounding it not letting a light come in, a shadow so dark, my heart so tired of pain, I feel like I can't take another day of agony..
I pay to the all mighty to take this pain away from me, let me sleep and have the sweetest of dreams, A Heart in pain must one let themselves die in vain….''
Kripa loved Angad without knowing how, or when, or from where she begin the journey of her heart. She loved him straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; she loved him because she knew no other way than this….Angad took time to open himself upto love, but when he did, his love was like a tidal wave, all encompassing and violent and then gentle and giving…….their love made their lives and destroyed it also……..but it never left their hearts, it never let them forget each other and move on with their lives, it always lingered, painful, burning, intense and heartbreaking, but it was always there, like a lamp burning in a cold, dense night…….giving hope to the darkness and gloom……. And hence I believe that it will always be so for Angad and Kripa, no matter how hard destiny tries to separate them, the love in their hearts will get them back to one another some or the other way!
Cheers,
Chilly
