alrite guys am back with rite my fan fic.. am bored this sunday night have nothing much else to do so am to bore you guys with my fan fic... just to keep you guys updated .. i'm re posting the char sketch and the story so far.. part 3 of the story is right after part 2 in this post!
The Character -
Rastogi's
The rastogi's are an affluent family belonging to Palampur, Himachal. They now own a construction company in Mumbai.
Mr Amal Rastogi: A literary professor. He is married to Pratibha who is a social worker and works towards the development and upliftment of women. They have two daughters, kripa who is a budding classical singer and Kashish who is renowned classical dancer in India.Amal is a kind and genrous man who can do anything for his friends.
Mrs Pratibha Rastogi:A social worker with a secret past. has a soft corner for Piyush Raheja who was orphaned at an early age and is Abhays business partner in his company. For pratibha, her home and her children are everything.
Kripa (age 20): Kripa is the youngest daughter mr Amal Rastogi. the darling of her parents, is a very helpful,caring , kind and a lovable girl.Is in love Angad but somehow never got the guts to tell him. Sujal knows about her feelings but Kripa has vowed Sujal to secrecy.
Kashish (age 24): Kripas eldest sister and a renowed classical dancer. was going to be married to sujal but because of some misunderstanding the marriage was called off. Is tho still in locve with sujal and knows sujal loves her too. but now they can never meet or so she thinks!
The Kapoors
Abhay (age 27): Abhay is an orphan who is a running a steel business - Kapoors and Khanna's in Mumbai. He is a self made man who taught himself how to read and write and was determined to become the businessman of the year. He was married to kkusum for five years before they got divorced. He still loves kkusum tho. he has a bone of contention with karthik whom he thinks is responsible for the divorce. Abhay is Tall, dark and handsome with an intriguing personality. Quick thinking and witty, he has an amazing sense of humour and can make even the dumbest of jokes look funny! Abhay was orphaned at the age of five when his father drank himself to death and mother died of a kidney infection.
Khanna's
The khannas are one of the richest family in Mumbai. They encourage budding talents are into film distribution and productions. They run about five - six music academies and have 3 recording studios in Mumbai .
Dilip Khanna :is not into Music and is the co founder of Kapoors & Khannas - Abhay's steel company. Dilip is married to Naina who is like the patriah of the family.
Naina Khanna: runs the music business of the house and is the one controlling the affaies of her son. Always been a busy bee, she never had time for her sons - karthik and angad who were actually bought up by their dadi. While Karthik is the director of the three recording studios and the Chairman of the music acamedies , Angad is a popular rockstar. arrogant, good looking with a dashing personality. Naina and Dilip have a daughter Kkusum who is an interior designer and was married to Abhay.
Karthik:(age 26) He is an average looking guy and is the blacksheep of the family. He is jealous of angad and always thought that angad was given more importance than him. In love with Mishti , He is now determined to pull Angad down at any cost as he think angad loves mishti.
Angad (age 24): from childhood has always been taught by his mom that no matter what he does, he will always be right. He was told that love was waste of precious time. Right from childhood his upbringing was such that he never had the love of his parents as they were too busy trying to make a name for themselves..he was forced to grow up quickly and he was determined to accomplish something in his life, His sheer determination, desire and arrogance to become the best has now led him to become the super rock star of the country. Angad is not very approachable and has very few friend one of them being Mishti and the other being Sujal. His dark and brooding looks have made women go head over heels for him
kkusum (age 26): An interior designer who is very homely girl. loves her brothers dearly but cant stand charu- karthiks girl friend.
Bose's
Damini Bose is a widower and is a music and film financer. She has a son Prithvi who has just finished filmaking in the States and daughter Mishti who is studying film production in College. The bose's are a well knit family. Damini's husband Anurag was good friends with Aman & Dilip.
Mishti (age 24): Younger sister of Prithvi ,she is a super bra who loves to boss her brother around.She is beautiful and arrogant and is best friends with Angad. She doesnt think too highly of kripa and has a flirtatious nature
Prithvi (age 26): a film maker who is a dreamer, a visualiser and believes in the beauty of life. Hasnt found the perfect girl for himself though as yet but has a soft corner for kripa.
Others:
Sujal(age 24): Angads best friend and his partner in crime. Likes kashish and is friendly with kripa. Calls Kripa a kiddo!
Dadi: Angad, Karthiks & kkusums dadi. Has a soft corner for Sujal who she treats like her own son. Never like Naina and couldnt do much when her son rebelled to get married to the girl of his choice.
The concept:
Kya yehi pyar tha is a fan fic arising out of a result of watching too many balaji serials...any resemblance to any character being portrayed on screen is pure co incidence. . as my brain is dead and i badly need to enhance my creativity, i thought why not intermingle the stories together!!jokes apart. Kya Yehi Pyar tha looks at life the way we chose it to be..its an intense classical love saga involving the fate of four couples - Angad & Kripa, Sujal & Kashish, Abhay and kkusum and Karthik and Mishti.
Are these four couples meant to be together? Part 1
life is strange. At times you dont know where you are heading till you actually reach the destination. Words like dosti, pyar, irsha can not be termed as just mere words but are emotions that are deep within. It these emotion and different personalities that that bought radically different people together and as one foreover or so they thought....
This story is not just another story but is the tale and adventure of perfectly young people. Life was bliss for these young people till one fine day a strom came and their lives were never the same.....
The Rastogis were a happy family till one fine day tragedy struck their household. Aman & Pratibha were returning from a book release of Aman Books - Zindagi ek anokhi dastan in Palampur. It was rainig that night and the road being hilly was steep and slippery. A car coming from the opposite direction bangs into them and their car falls off the hill. This was five years back. Kashish and kripa had no one to call their own and shifted base to Mumbai where they underwent their graduation and postgraduation. It was in their college in Mumbai that Kashish and kkusum first met and became friends and it was at the Khannas recording studio that Angad and Kripa met and had become really good friends.
Kripa as a girl always thought that she could never fall for a guy like angad but like they say opposite attract and Angad and Kripa were pulled to each other like magnets. There was a strong bond that the Rastogi girls felt for the Dilip Khanna and Damini Bose.
Days passed by, days became week and weeks become months. The Angad - Kripa friendship had become stronger than before. Kashish started to smile as she had finally found her sujal and Kkusum, Kashishs best friend was a well known interior designer in the country. Life was looking up for these children until a hawa ka jhoka came and took apart the world of these children....

Its 7 pm and the phone rings continuosly at Malabar Hills in Mumbai. Kashish the eldest daughter is in the states for a classical dance performance and is due to return at 5 am the next morning. The youngest daughter Kripa is in the balcony practicing her riyaz and doesnt hear the phone ring. The phone though after ringing a couple ofmore times finally stops. Couple of minutes later, kripa's cell phone rings and yet again there is no response. Fed up the caller Smses her. Couple of hours later, Kripa reads the sms. Its from kkusum. The message reads come to Life Line hospital. Its Urgent. Abhay is critical. Kripa rushes to the hospital and goes and sits quietly next to kkusum who is crying and looking at her mangalsutra. The docs come out and blood is urgently required. Kkusums tears cant stop rolling out. Her father is in the states too for a business trip and is on his way back after hearing about the "accident" and Mom Maina cant be reached. Karthik is in the Operation Theatre and brother Angad is on his way to the hospital.
Flashback:
Kkusum ....shouts abhay, pls meri tie bandh lo na ..mujhe office jaane mein deri ho rahee hai. aa rahee hopon janab ji aa rahee ho. lo ji phir se galat. Abhay when will you ever learn remarks kkusum. Abhay puts his arms around his wife and says as long as you around where is the need for me to learn how to wear a tear. Husband and wife hug each other and Abhay says. i think today is sunday. no abhay says kkusum, its monday. no kkusum its sunday.Abhay its monday. kkusum cant everyday be a sunday. atleast we get to spend the whole day together. kkusum lovingly puts her arms around her husband and says ok deal. when you work your new office, i'll do your interior designing and that way we'll be able to spend moire time with each other. Yes kkusum thats true said abhay. but then that will only be for a short while but then heck. our saath is for life.

Yeh Kaisa hua, kripa asks kkusum. and kkusum is awakened from her thoughts. Kkusum is too dazed and can only mutter manya. Kkusum wonders what manya has to do with the whole thing and keeps consoling kkusum. hours go by. kkusums tears cant stop and kripa figures out that the only way she can be for a friend is just by being there for her.
Meanwhile, in mumbai roads Angad and Karthik are on the way to the hospital. Angad sees a begga seelling ballons and his thoughts go t the time when he and kripa were walking on marine drive and she saw a baloon wala. he didnt know what had hit it at that time. They were just relaxing after the concert and were chilling out at Marine Drive whwn kripa saw the baloon guy and wanted a baloon. He saw the innocnce on her face and something made him buy about a dozen balloons for her. Kripa he wondered aloud.
Karthik - ab kripa kahan se ayee
Angad - kuch nahin. Just wondering how she is
Karthik - give yourself a break man. after what happenned to Manya, you still have feelings for that girl.
Angad - it wasnt her fault and you know it
Karthik - i still cant believe you are in love with her
Angad - no i'm not. I am just wondering where she is. Is it a crime to wonder also.
Karthik - now drive you idiot. the light has become green and you have to go to the hospital because your brother in law has met with an accident.
Angad - i dont know what you have against abhay. He is a nice guy and is a loving husband.
Karthik - i alwys thought he wasnt good enough for kkusum. I still think he isnt. I dont like him coz manya used to like him. but he fell in love with my sister and that broke my ex girl friends heart. you know i love manya still and cant see her hurt ..
Angad - you have gone mad. look at me. kripa and i are not even on talking terms any more. am i moping and groping about it. I had a choice to make and i have no regrets. Anyways here comes the hospital. Now cheer up , put up a smile . sis needs you.

At the hospital: After some time kkusums tears have kind of dried up but she is just dazed and keeps staring at the cieling. Kripa happens to look up and is shocked to see the face of the only guy she thought she had forgotten about.Tum she says standing up.
Angad : Tum?
Flashback:
It was Valentines day and Kripa and angad went to see a crivket match. it the last over of the India - Pakistan Cricket Match. The tension was prevalent in the cricket ground. a score of 430 was needed to be chased by India and they did well to reach 428 in the second last ball of the over. A Small edge by Irphan Pathan to the mid point and a single was taken between the two batsman abd the scors was tied , the series was tied.

Kripa - its about 11 foos playing with a bunch of 11 bigger fools. dont know how any one can be so passionate about this stupid game so as to make it ones career
Angad - dont see the passion and pride that the cricketeers have in the game. Iys the same commitment and passion that we have towards our singling career kripa.
Kripa - Our singing is different angad.
Angad - No it isnt. At the end of the day, its all a matter of choice. we sing from our soul. they play from the soul.
Kripa - sangeet meri prerna hai angad aur kabhi sangeet kokisi khel ke saath compare mat karna.
Angad - now dont get senti...

Angad takes a step towards towards kripa. Kripa holds her hand up as if to tell him not to come near but he ignores her completely and bends towards sideways to his sister and gives his sister his coat. Di he says hugging his sis. Kkusum starts howling uncontrollably and hugs her little brother. Dont worry di.nothing will happen to jiju. I;m there now . Kuch nahin hoga. Kkusum - angad - agar kuch hua to.
Karthik - coming from behind - kuch nahin hoga kkusum. hum aa gaye hai na. waise yeh accident kaisa hua.
kkusum is still crying and just tells her brother whatever lil she knows. How Abha was refusing to go to work but she forced him to go. Manyas call asking him to meet him at a cafe and abhay refusing to go. How Abhay and she were actually supposed to go out for drinks but when he didbt call she went to the office and from a distance saw a truck collide into Abhay just as he was crossing the path to meet her.
Kkusum is still crying ucontrollably and keeps blaming herself. angad wonders where his mom is and is shocked to learn that neither is she at home now is she at the academy and her cell phone is always switched off. angad gets irritated and hesitates about calling his dadi. He decides to call his dadi later on once his father reaches. She will unnecessarily be worried in london he thinks. Angad looks upagain sideways to see if a doctor is in sight and thats when his eyes meet kripas eyes.
the same innconce and sensitiveness is there is her eyes that was there years back. but he makes up his mind not to fall fir that innocence again. He made that mistake twice and he certainly isnt going to do it again. Kripa on the other hand is feeling akward at seeing Angad again. all tis while whenever she visited the Khanna's , she never bumped into Angad or his Parchayee. why did she have to meet him again and after all these years. kripa looks at angad and realises that he has to the same arrOGANCE AND pride in him thathe had earlier an aspet of his which she detested.Kripa tried to move her thoughts away fromAngad amd divert hermind tokkusum so she goes to get kkusum some coffee. Kripa gives kkusum some coffee ad offers the same to Karthik who was very cold yo her. She asks angad coffee without looking at him and gives the same to him. Few moments later kripa looks up and sees angad staring at her. Their eyes meet ad both are locked in eavh others eyes.
Part 2
kkusum had stopped crying and the tears from her eyes had dried up.. it had been over five hours since abhay was taken into the operation theatre.She just kept muttering to herself..aisa mere saath hi kyun hua... why does this always have to happen to me.. jisse bhi chahoon woh mere se kyun alag ho jata hai. With a questioning look, she looked up at brother karthik who just hugged her tight.

kkusum was seven years old and was closest to her grand father laxman khanna. It was winter holidays and at a time when she was beginning to understand the ABC's of relationship, tragedy struck the khannas. It was laxman Khanna bday that day and kkusum had wanted to bake a cake from him. She ha pestered her nannny all day long as naina her mom was busy calling up all the socialites in the town. Laxman Khanna had gone for a walk in themorning and kkusum had thought the time was perfect to surprise him and show to him how much she loved him. she had thought that she will tell him in the evening that she did really love her dadaji. All morning dadaji had longed to hear fromkkusum the words - i love you dadaji but kkusum had made up her mind to surprise him by baking a cake...
Afternoon turned to evening and laxman khanna went for a walk..all hale and hearty but when he did return, it wasnt his six footer figure but him in a coffin. The doorbeel had rung and kkusum had switched off the lights. she wanted to be the first to wish her dada. She went to open the door and screamed surprised as she switched on the lights. Her father, mother and brother all behind her, but when the door did open, it was a group of police men who wre bringing a dead body in a coffin. kkusum saw the dead body and refused to accept it was her dada. Howling and Sobbing, she came near his coffin saying happy bday dada .. i love you...

i love you .. i love yu.. kkusum kept mutering in her half dazed state. Suddenly she got up with a jerk and ran towards the ICU. Di Karthik began to say but later shook his head as kkusum had reached te ICU Door. A nurse came out and said sshh andar jaana mana hai.
Kkusum - mera andar jaana mana kyun hai. my husband in there there. Karthik got up from his seat and went towards kkusum. Putting his hand on her shoulder and pulling him in his arms he tells his ister that abhay needs all the rest and prayer in the world. Pointing to a Ganesh Idil nearby, he tells her that woh hai na , woh sab kuch theek kar lega. Kkusum in between sobs asks her brother - ma kahan hai karthik. Unhe nahin malum kya mujhe unki kitni zaroorat hai. She continues to ask her brother - bhai, jo dada ke saath woh abhay ke saath to nahin hoga? Karthik consoled his sister by saying nahin, hum aisa nahin hone denge. Abhay ko kuch nahin hoga kyunki tum uske saath hoga.
kkusum - lekin karthik dada ke saath to dadi thi na. jab unke beech ka pyar aur vishwas ek hi pal me jhatke se alag ho gaya, to kya abhay aur mere saath aisa hoga?
karthik - not knowing what to say and hiding his tears - kkusum, jab tak tumhare paas yeh bhai hain, tumhare abhay ko kuch nahin hoga.
kkusum - i know you love manya, i wish i could like her too but karthik..
karthik - hey di..no thinking of manya right now..abhi aap bas abhay jiju..stopping midway and saying i mean abhay ke barein mein socho...

Setember 2004:
Karthik Cell Phone Rngs and he rushes to Manya Home. There he sees Manya unconscious with some sleeping pills tablet next to her.Karthik just picks her up and rushes her to the hospital. Upon regaining consciousness, Manya tells him that Abhay has told her in no certain words that he doesnt want to work with him in this mutli crore project that he is currently working on.
Karthik -why is working with abhay such a prime criteria with you?
Manya - Why shouldnt it be. My dad worked with Abhays Dad and was his partner in business. Why cant i be Abhays Partner in Business.
Karthik - Because Kkusum is in his partner in life and in business. Cant you get that.
Manya - no i cant. Why are you being so blind to the fact that i love abhay.
Karthk - hes married to kkusum for heavens sake.
Manya - so what ! divorce bhi to ho sakta hai.
Karthik - raising his hand - manya...divorce ka naam bhi mat lena. yeh mat bhoolo ki abhay ki jisse shaadi hue hai woh meri behen hai.
manya - haan aue yeh shaadi nahin hoti agar maine kkusum ko nahin manvaya tha.
karthik - ehsaan kiya tha
manya - haan kiya! i want my abhay back.
karthik - you cant get him back. hes comitted to my sister for life. you cant get him in business as along with kkusum its piyush who is his partner.
manya - it would have been me had kripa not pushed piyushs case. kripa kripa kripa - shes the darling of your house isnt she.
karthik - shes my brothers girl friend after all.
manya - i hate her. she out to destroy my life.
karthik - no she isnt.
manya - she pressed for piyushs case. shes took my abhay away from e. i want my abhay back. i love him so much.
karthik - i think you need rest. you have gone mad. If you love abhay.then what am i to you. Dont you love me?
manya - pyar ek baar hi hota hai karthik. ek baAR HI...
kARTHIK - i think i got my answer.
Manya - karthik, dont leave me please, crying - i;m sorry. mujhe mat shoro pls. is duniya main ek tum hi to ho jo mujhe samajhta hai.
karthik - mujhe bhi aisa lagta tha manya ki shayad hum ek doosrom ko samajhte the. par aaj mere samne jo manya hai woh pata nahin kaun hai. woh meri manya nahin hai. please manya ...i got to go now.
When karthik came out that night from the hospital room leaving a sobbing manya, he left with a heavy heart. he couldnt bear to see manya in that state and yet he loved his sister dearly. Manya ka saath deta to kkusum ke saath na insaafi aur agar kkusum aur abhay ka saath deta to manya ke satth kuch hadh tak na insaafi after all she was his girl friend.
Karthik came out and just put his back against the wall. About 15 minutes later angad and kripa came along with kkusum and abhay. kripa asked karthik - what happenned to manya . Silence from Karthik for a while and a little later he walked off giving a glare to abhay telling him that manya ki is halat ke zimmedar sirf tum ho abhay. sirf tum. He glares at Kripa saying, you stay away from me and manya, you get that.
Angad - karthik tum yeh bhool rahe ho, ki kripa mewri hone wali patni hai.
karthik - to aaj eh phaisla kar lo - ya to kripa ghar main rahee ge , ya mein.
Kripa goes away from there with a harassed angad following her. He asks her for some time which she gives him not knowing that things will never be the same again.

Kkusum looks up to her brother and tells him, you know how i much i appreciate you being here. I dont know why you suddenly stopped liking abhay. you too were great friends. kya tum phir se abhay ke saath dosti nahin kar sakte. Karthik, tumhara yahan hoina is baat ka gawah hai ki aaj bhi tum abhay ki izzat karte ho,m aaj bhi tumhe abhay ki prvah hai aur kyun na ho, tum dono the acche dost.
Karthik - di, Abhay ko kuch nahin hoga aur abhay aur main kabhi phir se acche dost nahin ban sakte.
Kkusum (her tears have dried up) - looks at her brother says jante ho karthik, jab mujge pata chala tha ki manya abhay se pyar karti thi, main kush nahin thi, bura bhi laga tha. aisa laga tha ki jaise main do doston ke beech aa gayee. karthik manya agar abhay se aaj bhi pyar karti hai, isme abhay ka kya kasoor hai. manya abhay ka ab paana chahtee hai kyunki abhay uska kabhi ho nahin sakta. par yeh kaisa pyar hai karthik. aaj abhay zindagi aur maut ke beech lad raha hai lekin manya yahan nahin hai. yeh yahan to tum, main, angad, kripa- yeh yahan to uske chahne walein.

___________________________________________________________C ut Cut to Summers of 2003 and Karthik thinks of the time when the whole family had gone to Seychelles for the Summer Vacation. Para Gliding, the water mo bike rides, scuba diving, Angad, Abhay, Prithvi, sujal ad He had done it all. Whether it was scaring the girls with plastic jelly fishes or whether it was swimming in the sea, they had all the fun in the world. It was in the middle of a water volleyball game that karthik first bumped into Manya, one look at her and he couldnt take his eyes off her. He had never seen such beauty and an intellect look in a girl eyes before. Manya had just given him a glare and had walked off.
two days later he saw manya again and this time he saw her at a shopping complex. she seemed to having a cofrontation with some one and by the time he had walked to that spot, the guy was no longer there but manya was in tears. a cup of cofee later, a sobbing manya had told karthik her love story where she told him about this guy who was her best pal - Abhay. Hes married now and the girl whom he has got married to was a girl he had seen at a traffic light. One look by Abhay at the girl and he had fallen heads and heals over her. Seeing her friend like that she befriended the girl kkusum and got him talking with the girl. That was two years earlier. Smiling maya told him that Abhay and kkusum got married in Jan 2003. Hearing the names abhay and kkusum and hearing the story which sounded too familiar to karthiks ears, he took out kkusums photo from his wallet and asked manya if kkusum was the girl she saw in the picture. Manya nodded ad wondered how karthik knew kkusum.

karthik - yeh indeed . par kaisee dost ho tum jo apni dost ki shaadi pe nahin aayee.
manyA - i was abroad setting up a clhing franchise
karthik - so you ran away from the situation
manya - ran away what do you mean
karthik - the guy who was just here wasnt he abhay?
manya - looking down, yeah. dekho na kaisa dost maine paya hai. shaadfi ke baat bilkul badal gaya. aj mujhe baat hi nahin karna chahta tha.
karthik - abhay is not like that. oh by the way, hi i am karthik
manya - manya, manya mittal.

the doctors come out from the operation theatre and want ab negative blood as abhay was running out of blood. he tells them that its urgently needed and thry dont have this blood group in their hospital. Also that the next 48 hours are very critical.
Karthik turns to look for angad. He would surely know who has ab negative blood. Karthik sees angad and kripa looking at each other, their eyes had met and the two if them couldnt tale their eyes off each other. Shaking his head, he calls up sujal. He walks up to angad,patted him on the bed, angad immediately turns to look at karthik after taking the coffe, and musters a thank you to kripa. Kripa lowers her eyes and goes off from there to talk to the doctors.
Angad calls up sujal who is a universal donor as also prithvi and mishty. sujal reaches the hospital within 10 minutes and donotes about two bottles of blood. Prithvi and Mishty go to red cross to get some blood. An hour later Prithvi and Mishty come with 3 bottles of ab negative blood. After denoting his blood, sujal walks upto kripa and looks into her eyes- kripa tumne kuch khaya. Kripa shakes her head. Angad notices it abd disaapears off for some time. he returns after some time with some sandwiches, gives it to his sister, brother and friends. hes left with one sandwich and h wlks to kripa with it. Sujal sees angad coming and gets up. Kripa hoilds sujals hand and says sujal,please mat jayo.
Sujal - Kripa main bas abhi aaya. tum akele nahin ho.angad baith jayega tumhare sath kuch waqt ke liye.
Kripa - sujal.
Sujal - kkusum ko bhi meri zaroorat hai na kripa. main bas abhi aaya.
Angad gives her a sandwich.
Kripa - tum nahin loge.
Angad - nahin bhuk nahin hai.
kripa - angad tumhe aaj bhi mujhse jhoot balna nahin aata. jab jhoot nahin bol sakte to bole kyun ho.
Angad - aaj bhi tum meri jhoot ko pakad sakte ho.
Kripa - haan. kyunki main tumhare har cheez se waqif hoon.
Angad - chalo is jhoot bol kar hi sahi hum aaj ek doosre se baat to kar sakte hain.
kripa - angad please. i still have no interest in talking to you. Kripa gets up and leaves.

Kripa - please mera haath chodo. tune yeh haq kho diya hai. thank you for the sandwich. how much do i owe for it?
Angad - nothing.
Kripa - please dont oblige me. I dont want you to say later that i didnt pay you back.
Angad - aaj bhi us baat ko leke tum naraz ho kripa.
Kripa - angad, i thought you of all the people would underayand me. would side by me.no you had a choice to make - either to believe manya or believe me and you chose to believe manya.
Angad - manya was my brothers would be wife to me.
Kripa - aur main angad - kya main tumharee kuch nahin lagtee thi kya. saath kadam ek saath chalne ka vada kiya tha humne angad. ek doosre ke hum dum hum bhi banne jaa rahe the par ek hi khatke main sab kuch khatam. sab kuch. Us din jab naina aunty aur manya mere upar uglee utha rahe the, yeh keh kar ki maiun tumse nahin, tumhare daulat se pyar kartee hoon. Us din tum chup rahe angad. tum chuip rahe. tum bhool gaye ki mujhe tumhare daulat se koi pyar nahin hai. par tum chup rahe.
Angad - i know i was wrong. I know i was wrong. but kripa i'm sorry cant we be friends
Kripa - kya tum dosti ka matlab jante ho angad. and please dont say sorry. Tum sorry kehna bhool gaye ho!

Its monsoon time and angad had promised kripa to take her on a bike ride in the rain.Kripa was waiting at her home for angad only angad was busy playing football in the rain with sujal, prithvi and mishti in his spacious lawns of his bunglow. two hours later angad realized that he had a date. knowing that kripa would be wild, - she was not picking up his calls , he went and picked up some chocolates.Angad tried giving those chocolates to kripa but she wouldnt be talking. not knowing how to manao his lady love, he went to a nearby arches gallery and picked up a teddy bear with a sorry engraved around its neck.
at her home, kripa was paving and down till she finally dozed off to sleep, only to wke up when the door bell rang. She saw angad at the door and was so wild that she banged the door on him. the door bell rang again and she came ut opening the door saying i dont want to talk ....she stoped midway on learning it was the dhobhan in front of her. the dhobhan had come to collect the clothes. after giving the clothes to the dhobhan and shutting the door, the doorbell rang. This time kripa was saying kya hai .. nola na.... but this time it was some kids who had come to collect some oney for the upcoming charity show in the building. she gives them the money and promises them she will sing in the show. The door bell rings agan and this kripa is fed up. She opens the door again and this time there is a bouqet of flowers at the doorstep. Thinking it was for kashish, she goes to leave it at the table. she is shocked to see her name addressed on it and gives a sly smile when she learns it is from angad. the door bell rings again and kripa opens it again. This time she sees a teddy bear on the ground. as she goes in, she forgets to close the door behind her. she keeps looking at the teddy and says to herself to jainab romantic ho rahe hain. Accha hai. Kripa takes out a sorry message attached to the teddy: it reads:
"maana ki galati ho gayi hai , hai tumhara gussa mahashallah. kahin is gusse pe bhi na jayoon ghayal, ab to kar lo maaph. " I am sorry & Love you...
kripa - hmn to janab ji singer hote hue shayar bhi hain. i love you too angad.
Angad coming from behind and hugging her - kypa bola - kuch sunne main nahin aaya.
Kripa -Angad - hitting him with the teddy golden words are not to be repeated.
they hug and proceed to go for their bike ride in the pelting rain .

angad and kripa are both awoken from their thoughts. kripa shakes her head and walks to proceed towards the doctor. the doctor tells her the next 48 hours are very critical. they want some medicines which prithvi goes to get. Kkusum is waiting at the door of the ICU looking through the window and seeing all those machines and injections implanted on abhay. kripa and mishty are around her. Kkusum tells them - ajeeb zindagi hai ye. abhay ko kitna dard ho raha hai. jiske suyeein se itna dard hota tha, aaj usse ktna dard ho raha hoga. abhayka har dard mujhe kyun nahin mil sakta.
Angad is sitting on the bench outside the ICU, his eyes down and tears falling from his eyes. hes sad and broken as he knows hes hurt kripa. hes helpless as there is nothing he can do for his sister except for giving her himmat and hes angry with his mother for not turning up at all till now.
Karthik is near kkusum but at a distance. He looks at kripa and her self independence and self respect amazes him. Both he and angad have a new found respect for kripa. Karthik is thankful to kripa for being there for his sister and for them in this turmulous time in their life. He wants to apologise to kripa but his ego isnt letting him.
Sujal is sitting next to angad. Hes hoping that kashish has got his message. He knows that kashish has landed and should be reaching the hospital anytime with dilip uncle.
Prithvi, Mishty and kripa are around kkusum. Kripa keepa giving these side glances to Angad. She still loves Angad. She wants to take that first step towards angad but she knows that their life cant be the same any more. She wished she could put the past behind her and take that hand of friendship that angad had again extended to her.she wished she could trust angad again but now she didnt want to do anything in a hurry.
kkusum rests her back on the wall , her eyes this time looking at the door as if searching and waiting for some one to come...
Part 3
Kkusum continues to look at the door, her eyes glued at the entrance. each time the door would open, kkusum eyes would light up only to be filled with sadness on seeing that the person she wanted to see is not there. She shakes her head as if she has reconciled to the fact and accepted fate as it is.
Soon she can see someones feet near her and feels a hand run down her hair. She look up, her eyes fills with tears on seeing her dad and her best frienmd kashish near her. Kkusum gets up and looks at the door, her eyes still searching for some one. Wohi nahin ayye hain beta, dilip tells her father and continues looking at angad and karthik kyunki angad ke naye show ke liye sponsorship dhoondh rahee hai.
Angad approaches his father and says dad abhi bhi ..aaj bhi... kya aap nahin samajhte ki di ko mere ma ki zyada zaroorate hai.. aur mere show ko nahin...Dilip - haan beta main janta hoon par tum apne ma ko jante ho.. unke liye tumhara career ki sab kuch hai...Angad looking at his sister - di yeh mera aapse vada ki aaj shaam hone se pehle ma aapke paas hongee.

Angad thinks of the time when he announced his desire to be a muscian...a singer.. he remembered how his mother gifted him a guitar and nourished is intrest by getting him enrolled in a music academy...how his singing had become so popular that she would take all the pain to ensure that he gets the proper infrastructure and the proper training to pursue this interest further... she remembered his mother getting up early in the morning and giving him kava chai just before he had to go for his singing test and how she would always be so happy whe never he came first but he also rembered that thought he was left slightly lose and his mom perhaps did a lot for him , she perhaps never concentrated much on her other two children. angad is he;pless and blames himself for his mother not being there..after all had his show not got cancelled earlier, this show wouldnt have come up at all and his earlier show git cancelled all coz he couldnt reach the venue on time because he was upset with his brother over manya..
damn manya, angad muttered under his breath and took out his cell phone to make a call. he knew there was only one person who could get his mother back home to where she rightly belonged and that was him!

Kkusum burst into tears ...she knows that all her mother really cared aout was the materialistic pleasures in life.
Beta says dilip, chup ho jayo. abhay ko kuch nahin hoga..main aa gaya hoon. main usse kuch nahin hone doonga. kkusum rests her head on her father shoulder and says dad mujhse kaun see bhool ho gayee ki abhay ki yeh haal hai aur ma bhi mere paas nahin hai..
kashish is near her frend and is seething with rage. she cant understand that what is so important about angad shows that naina aunty is hell bent on getting sponsorship..She knows the show is important but she also knows that angad wouldnt participate in the show coming up 3 days later if abhays doesnt recover fully. Kashish eyes go towards her sister. She knows her sister needs her too ..she goes towards kripa.. kripa bura lag raha hai..
kripa - nahin to di. kis ke liye bura lage ga.
Kashish - i'm sorry kripa... for putting you through all this.
kripa - no di...kkusum is like my sister too
kashish - thank you kripa for being there for her and the family.. i know its been tough for you all this year..but honestly kripa thanks
Kripa - di kkusum meri nand .. i mean behen jaisee hi to hai...
kashish - nand ...kripa kya tum aaj bhi....
Kripa - nahin to di..angad mere liye aaj ek sapna ban ke rah gaya hai.
Kashish - cmin kripa you may hide your emotion from the world but you certainly cant hide them from them. you still love angad dont you.
kripa - nahin di main angad se pyar nahin kartee .kaha nah woh ek sapna ban ke reh gaya hai..aisa sapna jo kabhi haqeekat nahin banega.
kashish - kripa
kripa - di aapko nahin lagta ki hum hai is waqt kkusum ke barein mein sochna chahiye na ki mere aur angad ke barein mein.
kashish - yep you are right..and you know what i'm proud of you.
Sujal who was just nearby couldnt help but over hear the conversation and a faint smile appears on his face

Sujals thoughts went to their college days where it was a normal afternoon like any day. a very good friend of angad and sujal - raj had come down from the states and sujal rembered the jealousy that had swept across ngads face on seeing raj so friendly with kripa. And even though manya sister , simran was in the same college as them, manya ad never met karthik those days...Perhjaps it was the simran - kripa rivalry on the tennis court that really soured relationships later on...A Competition was coming up and the last few years saw Simran and kripa sharing the trophy. That year kripa won the trophy but manya had cried foul and tried to make people think that kripa won by cheating. no one believed her and angad had stood up for kripa at that time..
Perhaps later manya has used the karthik angle to her advantage...anything was possible with manya ..he just didnt trust her..he decided to talk to angad later on about it.

Angad called up his mom but got a no answer instead. He wondered which part of the world would his mother would be in now. not able to see her sister state any more, he called up his dadi. If any ne could give that shoulder to kkusum, she so desprately needed at that time would be his dadi. Angad of course goit a lecture from his dadi for not telling him. As their was no driver at home, angad went to pick her up. He looked at kripa and just said i need your help. if there is any one who can help me at this moment, it you. Kripa nodded and went along with angad. She knew she was safe with angad. he was too much of a gentle men to do anything!
all through the drive, both were silent each engulffed in their thoughts..
