In the post concert party Angad's mother says that she has an important announcement to make. She throws Angad unawares as she announces that Mishti and Angad will get engaged. Angad is shocked to hear this since he had been looking for a chance to talk to her about Kripa and himself. His mother deliberately avoids him as she knows that Angad will confront him about his marriage with Kripa.

I think Naina is the most evil mother. I find the mother in main prem ki diwani hoon very annoying. If my mother tried to force me to get married like she did then i will...i will...i will...i dunno what i'll do but im sure gonna make life hell for that guy.😡
