Hello people......
This is late in coming, and a bit rushed, so I hope it makes sense.
So, yesterday was Prithvi's birthday, and as far as I can tell, we basically celebrated almost everyone's b/day in KYPH.......lets see, Kripa and Angad celebrated hers in a very special manner........Mishty threw a lavish party for her birthday......Prithvi's birthday was celebrated TWICE so far (hmmm.....maybe an added bonus to him, as he will soon be dearly departed), Naina and Manek celebrated theirs as well.........ummm.......Where's the celebration for Angad / Zaib.....how could they have missed that…..oh, and for Butter's sake, Kartik also hasn't celebrated his birthday as yet.
Onto the episode. Kripa throws a lavish surprise party in which everyone who's anyone is invited, much to Prithvi's delight as he goes around hugging all and sunder. And to make his night even more special, Kripa sings for him. "Aaye Ho Meri Zindagi" from Raja Hindustani.....but here the stinger......as Kripa sings to Prithvi, she keeps sneaking glances towards Angad!!! I especially noticed this because at one point in the song, she was looking directly at Angad when she said "Mere dil me yuhi rahena tum pyar pyar banke"
As Prithvi is enjoying this treat, sad Angad is lost in his memories of hit time with Kripa in Luknow, Mishty thinks of Angad......not Zaib.....the disco scene just before the DTPH mirror scene between A-K, if I'm not mistaken, and when Prithvi blows out his single candle, Angad silently vows to snuff out Prithvi and Kripa's relationship, just like the flame on that candle.
Added to the surprise song, she had arranged a slideshow of all the times spent with Prithvi, which she obtained how......I have no clue, as they are scenes from her concert with Josh amongst other things. Sigh!!! The logic of Ekta's world. What to do.
Moving on.......As Angad stands there watching this slide show, determination written all over his face, and for a moment I thought that he had somehow switched some slides to show her and Angad together, but what occurred was far more than I could have ever imagined.
Angad moves to speak to the D.J. and Kripa, predictably follows him, wondering what he's plans are......O.k., so how telling is it that she constantly knows exactly where he is at all times.......the guy was standing behind her, but she instantly knew that he had moved away.....sigh!!! But Angad knows her far to well, and as she approached her, he looks at her sideways, totally ignoring her and walks off, knowing full well that she will follow.
And on a totally different note.......Uffff!!!!!! This man is just toooooo HOT for words!!! I failed to mention it at the start of this post, how remiss of me, so let me rectify it by saying he was looking oh-so-fine in that read diesel T-shirt!!!!! Phew!!! 😳 😳
Hmmmm.....I seem to have lost my train of thought 😳 😆......where was I??? Oh yes, As Kripa walks into some random room away from the party, Angad, giving into his baser need to touch her, grabs her arms, swings her around and very arrogantly tells her that he likes it that even at the husbands party, she searched for him, she follows him, which immediately has her insisting on wanting to know what his conversation with the DJ was all about, to which he promptly tells her to wait and watch, all the more fun to be had that way.
And this is where Kripa made a mistake......pleading with Angad to let Prithvi be, to not cause any difficulties for Prithvi in his "feud" with her, as Prithvi wasn't his enemy, she was.........Sigh!!! If only our Kripa knew what we know about Prithvi, that he was a cold blooded murderer, she'd be singing a completely different tune......she carries on by telling Angad to please forget the past as she was happy in her marriage and she didn't want him to ruin her life.....she pleads with him to let it be as she loved her family and didn't want to loose them.......but for each and every one of her statements, he hits back......saying he suffered as well after what she did to him, after all, what was his crime.......saying how he couldn't understand how she could be happy after she ruined his life......telling her that her family meant a lot to her, what about his.......going on to tell her that because of her he lost his family.......and throughout, his eyes burned with anger, as hers filled with slight guilt and tears.......and in a final attempt to stop him, she tells him to reconsider, if only for Mishty.............BIG MISTAKE!!! As he swings his head back to glare at her in fury, and she realizes her mistake, as she lowers her eyes and glances away.
Then it was fireworks all the way in the final set!!! What an awesome, power packed, emotion filled set it was.......Iqbal and Neha both excelling!!!
As Prithvi searches for Kripa downstairs, she in the meanwhile is still attempting to get Angad to leave her alone, asking him to let her live a happy life while he tries to find peace.......just like that, he snaps, grabbing her, and in a low anger-controlled voice he starts asking her if she's truly happy.......if she's as happy with Prithvi as she was with him.......all the while Kripa is trembling as Angad makes her face questions that she's avoided all this time.
Cut to the party, where we see the DJ flip a switch and we get to see in vivid, full coloured detail what Angads plan was all along. The images on the projector screen changes to Angad and Kripa's conversation, and Prithvi, Damini and Mishty watch in stunned horror as Angad and Kripa's not so private conversation play out in front of them.
Angad pushing Kripa for answers.......is she satisfied with Prithvi.......does she truly love Prithvi as she claimed at the party.......does Prithvi love her as much as he does.......something about her dil ki darkhan...ummm.....I couldn't hear exactly what was being said her, as Angad's voice had dropped so low and he was speaking through clenched jaw.......does she feel the same when Prithvi touches her as she feels when he touches her……
Through this entire rapid-fire questions, Kripa is silent, trembling, until finally she breaks free from his hold, tears running down her cheeks, and she yells out NO!!!.....NO, she doesn't feel the same when Prithvi touches her.
Still, Prithvi, Damini and Mishty are frozen in place, shocked to the core as they watch Angad move towards Kripa, coming closer, his hand braced on the wall behind her.......he leans in.......to kiss her, I would presume. The camerea turned away. (stupid camera) 😆 😉
And just like that, the fury dissipates, as Kripa admits once again to Angad that Prithvi doesn't make he feel the way that he does, that Prithvi doesn't love her as much as he does.......he loves her more, that to her Prithvi is the best person in the world, that s why she loves him.......as much as she loved Angad, she loves Prithvi more.......that Prithvi is the kind of husband that loves his wife ,and only his wife. She carries on, asking him if he got the answers to his questions…….and that the one biggest truth in her life was that she loved her husband.......and crying, she walks away.
Throughout all this, Angad stands there, pain and sadness written on his face, as each and every one of her words hits their mark, until she says that she loves Prithvi.......that was just too much for Angad to take, and his eyes close in agony, his face downcast for most of her conversation.
Angad is left staring at Kripa's retreating back, tears shimmering in his eyes, as he says that sometimes the biggest truth can become the biggest lie.
Side points: Not once in their entire confrontation, did Zaib reveal that he is indeed Angad, nor did Kripa call him Angad, so me thinks that his identity is safe for now.......I don't know how he'll explain the whole thing to the masses downstairs, but I'm sure he'll think of something.
The way I interpret Angads last lines: Kripa's biggest truth is that she loved (and to us, still love) Angad with all that she was, but his supposed betrayal had turned it to lies, but now, Prithvi, being her support system, has gained her respect and her feelings for him is her truth.......but Angad disproved that at the party.
