I'm really going to miss reading them on a daily basis, in December.
My thoughts are jumping all over the place after this brilliant, Mind-blowing episode, so please bear with me as I ramble my way though it.
I know that most of the time I tend to basically re-iterate what Nitu has already so eloquently stated, and sometimes it comes out less like an analysis and more like an update, but I need to get it out, and this is the best way, so do forgive me for this.
Yesterday was a power-packed episode……powerful emotions followed by powerful words.
Angad was looking like the King of the hill, all smug after yet another victory over Kripa in their personal battle, only to have Kripa just where he wants her once again as Damini tells her that her duty as Bhaabi has not yet been completed, much to the chagrin of Kripa who was doing her best to slink out of there.
O.k., did anyone have a good look at Zaib's face when the Shagun-ka-Sikka fell to the floor. I was concentrating on Kripa the first time round, but when I played it again, I couldn't help but notice that he was affected by this. The minute the Sikka fell, his hands unfolded, he looked to the floor, made a slight move to pick it up, only to refold his hands and look oh-so-casually away, as Kripa and Damini looked at him!....only to provide Kripa with two major mental slaps……..telling her that no evil eye will befall him……which promptly led him to receiving said evil eye from Kripa. Followed by the doozy that he found Mishty more beautiful then her!!! This man I tell you!!! How much more can Kripa bear!!!!
The dance sequence was good, great choreography and everyone including AniTTah and Manek can shake their booty with the best of them. The only down side was to see Zaib roo-rooing with Mishty while Prithvi exchanged, or tried to exchange a soulful gaze with Kripa, and at that point all I wanted to do, is yank Mishty out of Zaib's hand, and Kripa out of Prithvi's and gently push Kripa into Zaibs arms.
The Bole Churia dance was great, especially when Kripa comes to Zaib singing "leh ja leh ja", only to have Angad put his hand out and Kripa take it!!! Happy dancing follows, with Zaib having eyes only for Kripa!!!!
I have great will power, and with this will power, I have commanded my brain to erase Mishty and Prithvi out of the picture, and right now my mind is filled with Angad and Kripa dancing with unbound joy at their own post-engagement party.
Angad will always seek Kripa out, and with his great deducing powers, comes across her in the bedroom……what's with Angad and Kripa and bedrooms…….not that I'm complaining, mind you…….fixing her dupatta. And the man is F-U-R-I-O-U-S!!! The anger emitting from his eyes was hot enough to scald me through my t.v, and Kripa, as nervous as a school girl at the principal's office, stammers to him how dare he enter her room……Angad, now cocky, struts his stuff in a manner that says "I DARE", tells her that he wanted to compliment her on how beautiful she looked, and as he moves to touch her, which was bound to happen as it always does when they are in close proximity, she pulls away. YIKES!!!! WRONG MOVE GURL!!!
Kripa tells him to leave her alone and Angad, with his jaw clenching in anger at her rejection, grabs hold of her arms, blasts her, letting all his fury loose, telling her how can he leave her, telling her "Mein kaise bhoolja ke mein tumse pyar karta ta"!!!! Which naturally had me screaming "TA NAHI, ANGAD, PYAR KATRA HOON!!!" at my television set. Sigh!!!! And once again they never bothered to hear my call……………
Carrying on, he tells her how he constantly thought of her in prison, and that he had hoped to come out and see her……and that's where the thought stopped. SEE HER WHAT???? Someone please fill in the blanks……… He tells her that his torture at the hands of the police pales in comparison to the pain her betrayal has been to him and that she is no longer the Kripa he knew, that she is no longer HIS Kripa and that touching her doesn't feel the same anymore!!!! Kripa was stunned, looking like a deer caught in the headlights, at a loss for words at his tirade. The scene was raw!!! Emotions flying all over the place as Angad let loose all his pain, all his anger!!!
And for a moment I had my hopes flying high when Prithvi walked in…..I had so hoped that he would discover them and the truth or at least some of it would be revealed. Prithvi walks in on a very nervous Kripa with Angad no where in sight, much to my initial disappointment, only to have is casual words that his marriage to Kripa is in name only, as she still loves Angad, reveal a bombshell that shakes Angad to the core of his soul…….
The curtain hiding Angad, did nothing to hide his reaction to these words, the confusion at first, then the widening of his eyes in shock as Prithvi continues, followed by the slight lowering of his eyes, only to end with sheer, naked pain in his eyes as it Prithvi's words dawned on him. Iqbal was brilliant in this scene…..to emote all these feeling without a single word……BRAVO!!!
And Prithvi, clueless as to the bombshell he dropped leaves the room to have a pain-filled A.K.E.C moment. Kripa moves to leave the room only to stop at the door, staring at Angad, who has left his hiding place, her eyes brimming with tears, and filled with sadness…….his filled with regret, confusion and pain as he falteringly makes his way towards her…….if only she had stayed, he would have grabbed her and hugged the living daylight out of her…….if only!
Then comes the 64 Million Dollar question "If she still loves me then why did she marry Prithvi", which Angad uttered in with such agony, and it's a question that we've been wanting answered for months, followed by all the flag points of their relationship flashing before him, while tadap tadap played in the background……and with this brilliant scene, my love for the song has been restored. I only hope that Ekta doesn't use it on Prithvi at some stage, just to ruin it for me, once again.
Angad, with the questions burning in him, seeks her out and to ask her to explain, but at this point Kripa is a broken shell, and telling him that nothing matters, moves on, leaving him staring at her, with regret, with longing, with confusion floating in his eyes.
So they come downstairs to see the police entering, Angad doesn't exactly looks shocked to see the police there, though he halts for a few seconds, as he forgot about his plan, in the aftermath of the revelations that unfolded. Prithvi gets arrested for dealing with the underworld, the Bose family naturally shaken, unwilling to believe that he would be capable of this……ummm……excuse me, but he's capable of much more than this, but I digress………this time Prithvi is innocent of these accusations. Another intense A.K.E.C moment follows as Angad silently stands next to Kripa as Prithvi is being led away to the gallows…….o.k., so nothing so dramatic, but one can hope can't one?
Manek tells Kripa that it will be a monumental task to prove Prithvi's innocence as they don't have any evidence to contradict the police claims, and she returns to the Bose house, weary and defeated. Mishty, blaming Karthik (The first thing I thought was poor Butter……where does Karthik come into play) runs to Angads arms for comfort, and though he is hugging her, his words of comfort are for Kripa and Kripa alone. He tells her that he will not let her feel defeated so easily, that he knows Prithvi is innocent and that he will not let anything happen to him.
This is followed by what I feel is the dialogue of the day…….Angad, who's face reflects the sorrow he feels for Kripa, looks at Kripa's slumped form tells her not to worry, as he will be there for her…..always!!!!!!
The show was filled with powerful dialogue yesterday and I can't help but put some of them down.
Angad: "Meri jism se zyada, mere dil dhookta hai"
Angad: "Tum jisse mein apne kismet samajta ta, tumne meri kismet hi mitadiya"
Prithvi : "Kyon ki mein aaj bhi mehsoos karta hoo, ki tum Angad se pyar kati hoon "
And the motivational dialogue of the day…….I love this as it's a mantra that we should be proud to carry with us through our trials and tribulations:
Angad: "Isse koi farak parta, keh hum kitne baar girte hai, important yeh hai, keh hum kitne baar girke utte hai, aur mushkilo ka saamna karte"
This post turned out to be longer than I expected but I needed to get it out……what to do!
