Hey ppl. Exams are over, and my world is once more bright and cheerful. And I missed you guys sooooooo much. In the past few days that I've simply been a silent observer of the goings on of kyph, I realized exactly how much coming here to this forum and venting and listening to what you guys have to say, is part and parcel of the whole kyph experience for me. It's just no fun watching the show and then sitting quietly, w/o airing my views and getting your input and vice versa.

And the icing on the cake for me is the new (I think?!?!?!? Okay forgive me for the misleading topic, cuz I have no idea if this promo is new or not, cuz I've been away from the forum for a while but I just saw it, so plz bear with me) KYPH promo that I just saw. Hehe! Best promo that I've seen in a long, long time, for sure. So it featured Zaib and Kripa and had a very dark, black and white, sort of ambience and first they showed Kripa saying that I'm going to prove that it's you, Angad, inter-cut with old scenes of Angad flashing across the scene, and then Angad going, brace yourselves ladies, "Mai tum say nafrat karta hoon Kripa, lekin jab bhi tumhain takleef punchanay ki koshish karta hoon to dard mujhey hota hai."

Go figure!!! I'm telling you guys, this promo seriously made my day. Sigh! What can I say, though I love watching Zaib drive Kripa around in circles, the eternal romantic in me makes sure that at the end of the day, it's only ever Zaib/Angad and Kripa who I want to be together always.

Especially as it came hot on the heels of the past couple of episode in which Zaib finally decided to unveil his master game plan of tormenting and torturing Kripa by means of seducing Mishty.

I loved the past week. Seriously, what a week. We had Zaib in all his blazing glory; tantalizing, scintillating, mesmerizing and seducing our two femme fatales, Mishty and Kripa and just generally all around infuriating the rat pack; comprising of Prithvi, Karthik and Manik. (Btw, what was with the bestest buddies dance on Tuesday from 'dil chata hai'. Nearly died laughing…watching Karthik shake a leg is about as torturous as it gets.)

Mishty, heaven help her, is so drawn into Zaib's spell, it's like being sucked head on into a swirling vortex. Poor girl melted like a candle under a sunlamp (I kind of feel sorry for her though, since she always gets caught in the grind between Angad and Kripa) But still, I'm loving Kripa's reaction…the girl is simmering with jealousy…case in point being the dance sequence on Tuesday, would have taken a closer look if my screen hadn't been so fogged up with the smoke pouring out of Kripa's ears while Zaib turned the full blast of his bedroom eyes on Mishty to allure and entice her for his own nefarious means, and thus very effectively burning Kripa into a blackened cinder.

So we have Zaib running after Mishty, and Kripa running after both of them.

I'm loving it!!!

Hehe! Her marriage to Prithvi is just about the last thing on her mind, so thank God, all thoughts of consummating it to bolster Prithvi's sagging self esteem have fled from her mind, since her mind is too full of thoughts of Zaiby baby!!! Poor thing is at her wit's ends trying to figure out his game and looking for a way to blow his cover.

And the less said about Prithvi, the better, let him live in his fool's paradise a bit longer, although he too apparently senses that it's about to come crashing down about his ears, as his apprehension over Zaib's entry makes only too apparent.

And I think that Kripa's utter conviction that Zaib is indeed Angad is kind of sweet, since it shows her instinctive awareness of him, no matter what his guise. And I'm not really too worried about the Zaib-Mishty hot and heavy scenes nowadays. Because when I see them together, I see Zaib impersonally whacking her over the head with his raw sex appeal and oozing bad boy charm, leaving poor Mishty dazed and disoriented, while he himself has eyes only for Kripa. Well, not in the sense that he's still carrying a torch for her (which he is, his true undying devotion is just buried deep beneath multiple layers of anger right now. Never mind, that will come later) but the point being, that when you see Zaib/Angad-Kripa together, you can see the banked fires in their eyes, the acute awareness of the other, the unseen bond that connects these two. It's a mystical connection that these two share, which no one can break and no one can come between.

And now we are going to be treated to the cat and mouse game that Zaib is playing with Kripa. Case in point being the scene on Thursday, where Zaib was backing up Kripa against the tree, (talk about a predator stalking his prey), all the while wanting to know why she kept warning Mishty off him and yet kept coming after him herself. He shattered into itty bitty little pieces her faulty reasoning that she wanted Mishty to stay away from him because she was engaged; by pointing out in grand Angadian style that she herself was married. And then displayed his disdain for the mockery that is the Kripa-Prithvi marriage, by flicking her wedding ring so casually.

And the way he lashed out her; to get back at her for inflicting all that pain in him, by telling her that it was probably because she was lacking as a woman that drove Angad away. Sigh! The things we say when we are mad at the ones we love, because we all know that Kripa has always been his entire world to Angad. Btw, when he asked her that had she ever thought about this lacking in herself; I thought that he must have been referring to her colossal lack of trust, no?

And the most telling dialogue of the week was no doubt on Thursday, when Zaib scathingly told Kripa, "Main jab bhi tumse door jaane lagoonga, tum mujhe rok logi…lekin main…main jab chaahoon, tumse rishta todhkar ja sakta hoon!"

Powerful words, menacing even. But not true. Because he can't ever walk away from. He can't ever make a clean break from the tumultuous girl who walked into his life and changed it forever from that moment onwards. You know, how they say that everybody has a defining moment in their lives; a single event that changes the course of your entire existence. Well for Angad, that moment occurred when he met Kripa.

He can't let her be. He wont let her let him be. Even now, when he's purportedly come back for his grand revenge for the betrayal committed against him, consciously or unconsciously, he always looks for ways to drive home the fact that she's still in love with Angad. As he himself asked her, no told her, that the only reason that she objected to Mishty being with him was because the presence of Angad still lingered as strongly as ever in her heart. And it is apparent in the way he takes all those digs at her "marriage" to Prithvi.

He can't walk away from her, just as Kripa can't walk away for him, because these two have unfinished business to sort out; an undying pull that galvanizes them towards each other always. The way in which Angad/Zaib is so unperturbedly cool and calculating in his dealings with everyone, but when it's Kripa that he's confronting, this calm and cool goes flying to Hades. Because, she alone has the power to effect his on a deep, primitive, emotional level. She alone who holds the key to his heart.

And like I always say, hate is only the flip side of love. Both powerful, unfathomable emotions and who's to say where one ends and the other begins. So even in their intense hatred for the other, there is always the shadow of their love ever-present. With them it can only ever be a one on one confrontation while everyone else can only look on from the sidelines.

Oh well. Right now, I'm too worked up over the promo. Let's see what happens tomorrow. The stage has been set and I for one can't wait to see this latest smoking hot round of the Angad/Zaib-Kripa fight club.

Do tell me what you make of this new promo.

Take care everyone!

Loads of love,

Amal

P.s. the views reflected here are merely the product of my crazy mind, so I hope nobody took umbrage at anything I said.

This part was really confusing for me. Never really understood what he meant.

ever since thursday, i've been thinking about these lines:

"Main jab bhi tumse door jaane lagoonga, tum mujhe rok logi…lekin main…main jab chaahoon, tumse rishta todhkar ja sakta hoon!"

and i don't think i see it like angad wanted to portray it, in the scene, kripa was trying to leave but her hair got caught in HIS chain, i thought it was more that no matter how much kripa would try to get away from him, she couldn't becuase he wouldn't allow it (as he's shown coming back into her life) but if he wanted, he could break away from her but...he doesn't want to, obvious from all his attempts to seek her out whenever possible.

Have to say I loved the new promo….it shows the angst in those few lines than we have thus farnor seen from Zaib a.k.a. Angad….the hatred towards her, yet the vulnerability of his residual feelings of love…..which, despite all his efforts, he cannot deny.

You hurt the ones you love, the most….and this certainly is the case with Zaib and Kripa.

Oh my….what a delish was of describing Kripa's jealousy…..smoke coming out of her ears, indeed….I loved the minute yet very telling sign of jealousy as she and Zaib were dancing….the fist on his jacket and the sliding of her hands upto his shoulders in a silent gesture to Mishty: "Back off, his mine!!!"

Personally, I think Zaib is using Mishty as a means to an end, and I truly feel sorry for her…s.he has just gotten over Angad (barely), to be lambasted by all this attention from Zaib…..its only natural that she is dazed and disoriented…or like Taniya said, she comes across as the blushing debutante. After all, Zaib is lavishing his attentions on her, the way she always longed Angad to do.

As for Kripa conviction that Zaib is Angad….well, it's a total gut reaction / woman's intuition…call it what you want….I see it as her soul and heart crying out in recognition of its mate.

O.K, I LOVED that line, but you just have to love this scene....

Kripa: "Nafrat karti ti mein usse.
Zaib: "Oh Really...phit tumhari di ki darkan itni tez kyon horahahai??"
Kripa: "Dil ki darkane mohabbatto mein nagi, nafrat bhi tez hojata he"
Zaib: "Interesting, lekhin mere saat aise kyon nahi hosakta, strange, tumhara kareeb hone ki bawajood bhi, meri dil ki darkane bilkul bhi bekaab hone nahi..."

Talk about letting the cat out of the bag!!!! And Miss Kripa didn't even pick up on it!!! Why would Zaib, of all people, hate Kripa!!! We had discussions about this last week.

Very nicely put Amal……couldn't have said it better myself!!

Zaib / Angad might be fighting his feelings for Kripa the way she is fighting her feelings for him….actuallly in his case, its more like his true feelings for her is buried under this intense hatred and burning need for revenge, but…but…but….if he is not careful, she is going to slip under his guard, break through those walls that he has erected around himself, and get to his heart once again…..and being the loveatic that I am, I for one am keeping my fingers crossed, hoping that these two find their way back to each other……of course, it should come after a a bit more of arrogant Zaib, flustered and jealous Kripa…because I'm simply loving this entire cat-and-mouse game that they have going on!!!
