The Episode starts with Simran telling her dad that she will be under the ghunghat till the marriage is over.He agrees reluctantly,and Simran smiles. Everyone is happy for Rajveer! Tau ji asks Baldev to do the arrangements ! Rajveer comes just then and Jhumri tells him that hismarriage is fixed with Simran ! Both Rajveer and Jaggi become shocked on hearing this !
Himmat goes to the market and greets his father-in-law and asks him to let his daughter be with him.He then adds that he cannot against her dad and that she should understand her responsibility. But his father in law refuses to listen and scolds him! They argue and Himmat leaves !
The women select the ring for Simran. Rajveer is in his room, seeing the clothes set out for him,just then his mum comes and shows him the engagement ring. Rano calls her and she leaves. Rajveer sees the ring and tells himself sadly that today,he has gone farther away from Simran while Simran on the other hand tells herself that she has come one more step closer to Rajveer. Simran imagines a song sequence. The song Kaisa ye ishq hai.. plays ! <3 Dimpy comes and interrupts her dream and laughs,having listened to her recount of it ! (Hayye that was such a beautiful scene <3 ). Simran hopes that everthing would go off well!
Everyone is ready for the engagement. Rajveer comes and Tauji asks him if he fine and he says he is and adds that he trusts Tauji blindly, and will always do. Tau ji promises that he will not make him upset.
Tau ji says Simran is a good girl and tells him that Rajveer would be happy with her.Just then.Himmat comes and says that because of some work,he would not come.Tau ji is happy seeing Himmat was becoming more responsible and tells him that it is okay for him to come! Rajveer's family arrives at Simran's house. Rajveer looks around, Simran sees him and becomes happy. Tau ji introduces Simmi's dad as Tilawar Singh to Rajveer. Rajveer greets him. Rajveer stares at him ,seeming to recollect his face from somewhere! The pandit and jaggi also feel the same but Jeevanlal manages to divert their attention !
Tau ji sees the pandit talking to himself, and asks him to start the Rasam, the pandit calls the girl. Simran enters and sits beside Rajveer.The Pandit asks Rajveer to make Simran wear the ring. His mum gives him the ring, Rajveer thinks about Simran and gets lost in thoughts. Tau ji and his mum asks him to proceed as the Shubh Mahurat would pass. Rajveer takes the ring and puts it on Simran's hand. He holds her hand. He feels the familiar touch of Simran's hands and becomes shocked !!
