Ever since a tiny tot,She always wanted to be an actress,though her family was dead against the idea of her becoming one because she hail from a very conservative family.At one stage, she had to kill her ambition.Even while She was studying at the National College for three years,she started working in a boutique as a salesgirl cum fashion designer both rolled up in one,to earn some pocket money for herself.She convinced her mother to let her do at least one ad film.After struggling for a year,she did an ad film for Medimix soap in which she appeared in a salwar kameez.Jeetu Savlani gave her a girl-next-door look.She wanted to have her own portfolio done.Though she was very scared to ask her mother for a loan,she did rustle up the courage to do so.She couldn't even sleep a day before the ad was shot because she was worried whether she would be able to repay her.She did around 35 ads and her mother allowed her to do a music video as well.Her first music video was 'Dil ka aalam'.
