It pays to be Aamna
Aamna Shariff aka Kashish of Kahiin To Hoga is upset about co-star Gurpreet's allegations about her highhanded behaviour. Says Aamna, "I'd like not to give his allegations any attention. To say that I ruined him sounds a little far-fetched. It's so obvious why he's doing it. I wish people would get a life of their own and not try to ride on my stardom. Why do people use my name for publicity? I've spoken to the production people and they're taking action against these charges." Talking about Gurpreet's allegations that Aamna couldn't forget Rajeev Khandelwal as Sujal, the lady says, "I'm a thorough professional."
Now, on the other hand, there's this buzz about Aamna possibly moving to greener pastures. With the rumours of Kahiin to Hoga possibly wrapping up, Aamna has decided to move the Sandiip Sikcand way. Sikcand, Ekta's trustee and associate, abandoned the Balaji camp recently for Sony, and it is alleged that Aamna is expected to follow suit. Apparently, she is in talks with Sony for a new show for a deal exceeding Rs 1 crore for which she will be required to work for just 20 days a month!
Woof ! With that kind of money baby, should you even bother about who's saying what about you?

RAJEEV CELEBRATES BIRTHDAY WITH AAMNA
And while we're discussing Aamna, here's some news about her "best friend" Rajeev, who just turned 30. "I realise I'm entering a whole new phase in my life. The time for fun and games is over. I need to take serious career decisions," he says. Marriage plans, then? Rajeev chuckles, "Are you kidding? As of now, I can't even think of it. I'm too selfish a person to entertain a spouse in my private space." Oh, but we heard you celebrated your birthday with Aamna. "Of course! That's the way she wanted it…and I wanted it too. We wanted to be together for my birthday. But that doesn't mean we're romantically involved. She's my best friend. And best friends seldom become marriage partners."
