Vagirl> I live in US and watch Zee and Sony TV regularly, but I really get bored with same kind of serials, when are you going to show case something new for global audience?
Mrinal Deshraj> Have you have seen " Ek Ladki Anjani Si " it's not run of the mill. It's different.

Kishen_lively> I have seen your soaps...your acting is good but you need to improve in certain aspects.
Mrinal Deshraj> Thank you for the feedback. Please do tell me where I am lacking.

Indu> What are the qualities an actor should possess to do a good job?
Mrinal Deshraj> The basic essentials are for an acting career, according to me, are the ability to learn dialogues fast, good expressions and diction and being natural.

Indu> Is it necessary to undergo training in Acting Skills?
Mrinal Deshraj> Yes it is, to survive the competition.

Abhay1> What are the new projects (serials) you are working on?
Mrinal Deshraj> Currently I am working on two projects " Kahin Toh Hoga " and " Ek Ladki Anjaani Si ...so I am left with no time for any other projects.

3774hh> In which area do you face competition in your stream?
Mrinal Deshraj> How one looks, how young one is...On the whole there is a lot of competition in this industry.

3774hh> How did you manage to get this role in " Ek Ladki Anjani Si "
Mrinal Deshraj> Last year I was on a world tour for 6 months ...when I came back I went for an audition and got selected .

Rati1988_indiatimes> Which is your favourite place in the world and why?
Mrinal Deshraj> Los Angels in the US...because I love the weather there.

Girl_in_power> I am an aspiring TV actor, can you please give me some quick tips on how to keep my cool and make it big on TV?
Mrinal Deshraj> Just keep on trying and have faith in yourself, you will surely get a break sometime.

Girl_in_power> You are working with Rajshri production for their upcoming movie " Vivah ". What is the experience like?
Mrinal Deshraj> Wonderful! A Rajshri production is the best production house. They treated me very well.

Swapnil> What are your hobbies?
Mrinal Deshraj> I enjoy going to the gym, swimming, shopping and watching movies.

Girl_in_power> What would you have been if not an actress?
Mrinal Deshraj> A Fashion designer, as I have studied fashion from NIFT.

3774hh> Are you very choosy about what assignments you take?
Mrinal Deshraj> I am generally choosy about what work I take up but sometimes, I take up work keeping money into consideration or just to keep myself busy.. So that's why I took up " Ek ladki ..." as I didn't have anything else to do.

3774hh> How is it working with Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao?
Mrinal Deshraj> My scenes are with Shahid. We know each other as we are gym friends so it is fun working with him.

Girl_in_power> Out of the roles you played on the small screen, which one is closest to your heart and why?
Mrinal Deshraj> None of the role because I do not get creative satisfaction working in TV as I love to do theatre. I am doing TV serials for money and fame.
