I think what Sujal did was Crazy..As Aks said, Sujal cld have been saved without leaking out Kashish's name...

All Sujal cares is abt Kashish. He never ever cares abt his Mom(Veena) who is so much pain and agony for her son...

Yeh it only we could have ppl like that to fall in love with. But Kashish took her time to return the love, Sujal has been sacrificing one thing after the other for that girl and now it is his freedom. The girl has taken more importance in his life than his own mom, tht coz Sujal is not a mama's boy, even though he respects her so much. I think Veena understands how much K means to him so she may not mind him taking the blame.
