Old is always gold

After watching 2 episodes I really feel that old is gold. B.R. Chopra's mahabharat.He gave full justice to the great epic Mahabharat. Exact selection of characters.Rupa ganguli as draupadi,my favourite krishna,nitish bhardvaj or sarvdaman from ramanand sagar's krishna,mukesh khanna bhishma,punit essar duryodhan,simply great.Each & every character was the best for that perticular role. As Arun govil was Ram,no ram after that people like. Mahabharat itself has great script so if there is already a powerful script then half work is done.But I don't like Ekata's selection.These character have no grace for that mythological great character.Ekata is ok for kyonki only. First impression is the last. Only chanting of sanskrit same same shlok don't make mythological serial. No great dioalogs,not any grace.nothing.It looks like she is telling Chandoba stories.Ramanand sagar & B. R. chopra are THE BEST.Sorry for kekata's fan.But truely after first kutumb I don't like any of her serial,same same ghisa pita & strechy serials.She gives chance to her favourite actors but that too not properly.

I am sorry for ekata's fan. But truth is truth. As somebody said in his topic that old Mabhabharat's title song was also very inspirable,feel proud about our culture.Whenever Krishna was coming on the screen we feel that real god is there that much effort they put in that character.Here it feels that some boys & girls are doing drama for college gathering.
