Previously on Vansh Katha
No one can seem to find Anirudh while Charith accuses Nithika of having an affair with Raket and he also accuses Anirudh of killing Raket. A power struggle ensues and Nithika calls Raket only to find he's alive and well. Nithika and Bindiya then tell Charith and Kaveri to get out of the house.

Vansh: I must say Raket you're a great actor.
Raket: Hey that's what you pay me for right?
Vansh: Absolutely… Glad I was able to convince you that you're NOT in love with Nithika though.
Raket: Well in the beginning I thought I was. Then I realized that I was in it only for the money. That's why I kept practicing what I was going to say while I was driving here even!
Vansh: Hope the fake bullets didn't hurt too much.
Raket: I don't get one thing though… How did you know that Charith Patel would walk out at that exact same time?
Vansh: Well when I saw you drive in… I called Badi Ma. She then kept giving Charith calls on his mobile with a huge disturbance, we knew that he would have to leave the party and walk out at some point. When he did, that's when I began my dialogues with you and then…
Raket: You shot me!
Vansh: Our men came over, threw you in a van and drove off with the gun.
Raket: You walked back into the party right?
Vansh: Yes but only to confuse Charith. I actually stayed there for two more minutes and came back to the car.
Raket: Where I joined you.
Vansh: And now we're up to date.
Raket: So what are we still waiting for then?
Vansh: We're waiting to watch my ultimate victory Raket. Do you have any idea how much trouble our little scene caused for the Patel household?
Raket: Sounded pretty bad…
Vansh: All I need to see is Charith Patel walking out of that house with his bags and baggage. My revenge against him will be complete then. His family has turned on him and now he won't have anywhere to go.
Raket: How come?
Vansh: Well… Vidhya Chopra is in an asylum and Kedarnath Gupta is being massacred in jail. The only other people he has to turn to are Sidharth and Poornima Singhania. But they won't take him in either…
Raket: And why is that?
Vansh: Because if I know Nithika… She'd be making a phone call right now as we speak.

The phone rings and Poornima goes to answer it.
Poornima: Hello?
Nithika: Mama…
Poornima: Nithika what's wrong? You sound upset. And why are you calling so late?
Nithika: Mama you're not going to believe what happened here tonight.
Poornima: After we left?
Nithika: Yes…
Poornima: Talk to me Nithika, tell me what happened…
And Nithika told her mother the whole story…
Poornima: WHAT??? What a malicious thing to do!
Nithika: But it was really sweet how Manav stood by me mama. Everyone took my side when I asked them to leave the house!
Poornima: Serves them right!
Nithika: I have to go now… I'll talk to you soon, listen did Anirudh come back home?
Poornima: Well the lights in his apartment were off so we figured he must be sleeping because his car is in the driveway…
(Back in the Car)
Raket: How is your car in the driveway if you're here sitting in it right now?
Vansh: Stop being such a moron Raket! This is Badi Ma's car not mine… Her driver will be here in a moment and he will take me home and then drop the car off at Badi Ma's house.
Raket: You guys really plan out all the details don't you?
Vansh: We sure like to think we do.
(Inside the Patel House)
The living room is empty but the echoes of the argument are still ringing loud.
Charith: I can't explain what happened and I don't know why it happened either. What I do know is that we made a big mistake Kaveri…
Kaveri: Wrong Charith. You made the mistake and now both of us will have to pay the price for it.
Charith: You're right… Let's go.
They took one last look at the house and slowly opened the main doors to leave. They looked back once more and proceeded down the stairs that lead to the garden and out of the house.
Raket: Oh crap! They actually got kicked out!!!
Vansh: Brilliant.
Raket: How the hell did you do it Vansh?
Vansh: Calculation… Understanding of people… Knowing what their weaknesses are and preying on them… It's too complicated Raket. You'd never understand.
Raket: And I don't want to if it's as twisted as that!
Vansh: Before you there was Mahesh and Dharshana. They did their job, they were paid for their services and they left… You've done your job too Raket, your full payment is in your account… I suppose all that's left for you to do now is leave.
Raket: No problem boss… Consider it done. I'm going back to Mumbai to spend my money!!!
Raket got off the car and sneaked away unnoticed. Vansh continued watching Charith and Kaveri walk out of the house. He was immediately reminded of his mother being taken away from him the last time he saw her in jail. He felt the pain once more of loosing the only family he had and then he felt satisfaction in knowing that he had made Charith Patel suffer a fate far worse. His family had no choice but to be taken away from him but Charith's family themselves, kicked him out tonight. Keeping this thought trapped in his heart, Vansh drove off.
Meanwhile as Charith and Kaveri continued to walk down the steps all of a sudden Charith heard a woman's voice laughing out loud… It was eerie and creepy.
Charith: Can you hear that?
Kaveri: Hear what?
Charith: That woman, it's like she's laughing at us…
Kaveri: It must be the wind Charith…
Charith: But…
Kaveri: We've been humiliated enough tonight. Let's leave.
Charith: But where will we go?
Kaveri: Back to my village I suppose… Where else can we go?
Charith: You're right…
But the woman continued to laugh and Charith couldn't help but turn to look at the doors of his house once more and he was shocked by what he did see… There in the middle of the two open doors was a woman in a white sari. He couldn't make out her face but she was there nonetheless.
Charith: Who are you?
Kaveri: Charith who are you talking to?
Charith: She's there can't you see her?
Kaveri: Who?
But it was pointless because Kaveri couldn't see her at all.
Woman: I'm the past that has returned to haunt your present Advocate Charith Patel!
Charith: Where did you come from?
Woman: From where you sent me to…
Charith: Who are you?
Woman: Such a shame that you forget Charith… You accused me of crimes I had never committed and you separated me from the only family I had… And look at how things turned out for you! You built an entire life out of my misery and today that life has turned its back on you… You separated me from my child and today your children separated themselves from you… Ha ha ha haha ahah ah aha….
And as Charith watched, the woman reached for the two doors and slammed them shut in his face!!!
Kaveri: Charith??? Charith??? Are you alright? What's happened to you? Come now let's leave.
Then at last… Realization sank in…
Charith: Anuradha…

Kaveri: Since they were children Manav has always had something against Dharm.
