Shikhar would have killed her,perhaps very brutually, so that she doesn't claim Adi back. Mayuri would have witnessed the whole event and gone into shock. The painting would be the sole reminder of the link between Adi and his real mother. And Mayuri reacts only to people whom she shares a special bond with aka her Badi Maa Parvati.....

This is a total ripoff of the Dana-Paul-Mary Alice Young-Deidre plot in Desperate Housewives

yeah i've been thinking that adi might be chottu too ... and considering that rajeshwari was the one to get him away from the agarwals, it is a somewhat logical twist to the story (although technically, he should be younger than pragati but then again none of the writers remember any of their past story lines anyways - for eg., maithali should also be younger than pragati and pranay should be younger than shruti/gunn's daughter)

The kiddies are preparing for the Holi festivals; deciding who their bakra will be today. Bheem wants it to be Trishna, but Ronit says that Tiny will decide. He wants to throw colour on Maithil😳 They go.

Pranay brings Shruti home😳 and she asks where everyone is. Sonu asks her how she is. Shruti comments that she missed them all when she was lying ALONE in the hospital. She is about to leave when she spots the Ram-Sita-Lakshman murtis in the mandir. She is really happy and asks who brought them. Sonu says that Janki Devi did, when she came to live in this house. Shruti is shocked - how come Janki is living here? Sonu asks her whether she was not told (duh! She just said that no one went to visit her in the hospital, who was going to tell her? Gormless Pranay?🤢 Or Spineless Sameer - lol, I love that nick😆). Sonu says that JD has been living with us for a while and that Trishna (choti ma) is the one who brought her home. Shruti is very angry, and resolves to speak to choti ma.

The aforementioned choti ma is lying sprawled on her bed (she seems to be taking a lot of bedrest lately...Janki tiring you out, Trashna?😆). Shruti asks her why she brought Janki home. Trishna says that Shruti has no right to ask her this. Shruti says that JD is the one who tried to bulldoze her (no darling, mistaken identity - Choti Ma is the one😉); Trishna is least perturbed. "JD didn't kill you, did she?" Shruti is shocked. Trishna says that anyways, she is tired of listening to the crap of JD and that buddhiya Suvarna, "don't you start too". Shruti says that now she knows what T must have said to Suvarna - that JD is "meri mama"😳; and for what? Only because she wants that 500 crores? (Which btw, is taking an awful long time to materialise - didn't Suvarna say 2 weeks or something?😕😆). Shruti says that it was ok to lie once, but how can she expect JD to stay here? Trishna says that she is doing everything for this family (sureeeee). Shruti says that she hates JD, because she tried to kill her (well, if you hadn't run in front of the moving bulldozer like a maniac....also, did you not FEEL T's foot trip you up?😕). Trishna says that Shruti is welcome to hate JD as much as she wants😆; Shruti says that T has to make a decision - either Janki stays or she (Shruti) does. Trishna gasps, "Oh, you've put me in such a dilemma😆Tell you what, why don't YOU leave and take that Refugee Camp and Buddha Brigade with you😆😆". She says that Shruti is hardly 5 foot, but JD is a walking cheque for 500 crores😆😆 Shruti is visibly shocked (finally - love you to bits Shruti, but you really needed this setback to see what T is all about. Maybe now you will be more forgiving of your mother...). Shruti says that she will leave. By the way, Janki has been listening to this convo since the beginning, and when Shruti comes out of the room, she stares daggers at Janki.

Trishna comes out of her room to see Janki, and apologises (😆😆) to her for Shruti's words. She says that the kidney failure has affected Shruti's brain as well. JD says that she does not want to play Holi, but wants fireworks!! Trishna thinks she is joking, but JD deadpans, "No"😆😆 She says that in her house, she always has fireworks, whenever she wants. Trishna still thinks she is joking, but the look on JD's face is murderous (this is T's punishment for the way she just behaved with Shruti😳). JD tells her that she is remembering her own house, she will go home and have fireworks while Trishna stays here with gulal. Trishna says that she will arrange for fireworks. 😆😆 JD gives her half an hour. Trishna says she will be back in 28 mins.

Trishna is at some open-air shop where they are selling gulal and asks where she can find fireworks. The seller says that today is Holi, not Diwali😆 Trishna reiterates that she wants fireworks. He gives her some.

Kamal is shocked to hear from Janki that T has gone to buy fireworks😆. JD is still unamused. Kamal muses that until yesterday, Trishna did whatever she wanted in this house, but now, she is a slave to JD's whims. He laughs with disbelief. He says that she has hurt the oldies and the family a lot, and now....he did not expect this from T. Janki is still upset, so he asks her what happened. She says that she does not know whether she is fortunate or unfortunate. Fortunate, because after all these years, she is here on Holi with her family. And unfortunate....Shruti. Shruti hates her so much; her grandchildren all know her by a different name. And the oldies, she can't take their aashirwad even willingly. She remembers that the first person she used to wish on Holi was Dadi, by taking her blessings. Kamal promises that today will be no different.

The oldies are praying at the mandir, with the old KGGK tune playing. They talk about Parvati, and how much they miss her. JD comes from behind and listens to this. (Well, its all your fault oldies😡 you and the rest of that no good family).

JD comes to the mandir and comments on the colour - she insults them and says that they should not have the colours in their black-and-white lives. She demands to be given the thali of colours. She says that if T found out, she would burn them as holika😆 She takes the tray, and just then Kamal appears, acting drunk😆He bumps into her, causing the tray to fall. JD insults Kamal and he stands there "drunkenly"; JD tells the oldies to help her scoop up the colour. She kneels by dadi's wheelchair, and on the pretext of cleaning her saree, takes her blessings. Dadi's hand moves to bless her, remembering older, happier times.

Kamal smiles, and JD does too, secretly. She gets up and tells the oldies to go and prepare for some prayers. She leaves. The oldies say that she looks Parvati, but oftentimes, what you see is not what you get. Parvati used to take our blessings on Holi, but she insults us. Kamal tells her that she is right - sometimes appearances can be deceptive. He too leaves.

Adi applies gulal on Mayuri (how cute! I missed him too!). He looks at her hand, which has a sock (I think - I couldn't figure out what he was saying😕) in it. He asks whose it is, and she tries to reply. Suddenly Shikar arrives there and tells him to stop this nonsense. He says that Mayuri cannot say anything. Adi wants to see her get better; Shikar asks if he is a doctor. Why did he bring JD into this house? Why is he intent on making a tamasha out of his mother. Adi retorts that maybe Shikar can see his wife like this forever, but he cannot see his mother in this state. He wants her to get better; whether Shikar cares or not. Shikar says that he also cares about M (really? funny way of showing it🤢); Adi says that if he did, he would not have stopped him (Adi) and JD from helping her get better. Adi thinks that Shikar is the one responsible for M's state, which is why he does not want her to get better. Shikar responds that he does not need to justify anything to him. Adi says that he will find out how and why M is like this; Shikar says he can do what he wants. He leaves. Adi sits back down and tells M not to worry - she will get better very soon. He looks at the sock and wonders where the other is (ok, whats the big deal about this sock?😕😆 in any case, it is Murphy's law that there will always be one of a pair missing😆).

At the police station, the missing sock has been found in the box. The cops say that the sock seems to be of a young child's, but the body is of an adult. They say that the dead body is of a woman (so that rules Ashu out😉 - that means the woman and child in the photo behind the painting. The woman is dead - where is the child?😕). The cops say that the death happened 10 years ago (so for 10 yrs Mr. Shikar Mehra didn't think it necessary to dispose of the body from his fountain😆😆 as soon as JD arrives, all hell breaks loose for everyone - what if this is Narayani's d-i-l and grandchild? Assuming she wasn't lying about that part). The cops say that the sock needs to go for forensic testing, and they need to find out where such boxes are made.

Rang Barse - Holi Hai!! The townsfolk are enjoying their Holi to the sweet, melodious baritone of Mr. Bachchan. In AG House, Trishna has enlisted her helpers for the fireworks display😆😆 (bear in mind, this is the middle of the day, the sun is out and the fireworks can hardly be seen😆😆). JD arrives there, and watches T run around, with a smile on her face.

Varun, Sameer and Sonu are also enlisted; they smile like ulloos (owls/idiots)😆😆 when JD tells them to enjoy😆. She prefers to watch the action from one side. She tells them that the fireworks should not stop; T tells Sameer etc to play Holi with phooljhadis. Sameer tells Varun that they should light something big.

Trishna has put her pallu on her head because of the heat😆😆 Now she looks like a pakki jamadarni😆. Rajo arrives there. She is shocked to see the fireworks.

Kamal and JD watch this from the side, unable to contain their laughter.

Trishna tells Rajo that she was getting bored of playing with colours, so this is her new style😆 Rajo is not convinced.

Kamal wishes JD Happy Holi, and muses that today she has given Holi a new colour, one that Trishna is fully covered in. JD says that this is T's punishment for the way she treated her baby (she said bachi, I translated baby😳😆😆). She says that the whole family is her, but her baby Shruti is alone in her room, suffocating and all because of T. Shruti has done nothing but listen to Trishna for 18 years, and yet today, Trishna turned her back on that same girl. JD will not forgive her. This Holi will make a mark on T's face, such that it will never rub off.

Comments: Tinaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!! I missed her so much and yay! She's back!!! Aate hi, its like the jaan came back into KGGK and I am not exaggerating (ok, maybe I'm a little biased😉😆). But seriously, yesterday, Kamal and JD finally acknowledged that she is Parvati, and now my Shruti has realised that Trishna is a cheat. Two good things to happen in two episodes. I loved the scene in which Shruti confronts Trishna, and the way Trishna knocks her back - it was definitely needed.

I also missed Adi, and am sooo glad that he is back too. I love this kid!

I am very concerned about this sock business - if Mayuri has that sock, is it baby Adi's? In that case, could the dead woman be Adi's grandmother (Mayuri's mom?)...very confusing...

Today's Top Players: Janki and Kamal: for the entire episode - the smirks, the laughter and the naatak in which Janki got her blessings. Shruti: for being back and being on top form! (And looking great😳 Marriage suits Tina). Adi and Shikar: for that explosive scene in which both acted very well. A decent ep.

Please do let me know exactly where I used the word "paki" in this update, and why I would need to since none of these characters are Muslim or Pakistani...
