Parvati tells Gaurav and Krishna that they must get this tender under any circumstances and they need to make sure that their product is better in Suyash's. Gaurav says that they don't have the money that is need for security and asks where they will get that from. Gaurav also says that it is time to increase the salary of the workers (I think). Parvati says that they'll talk to the workers and see if they agree. Gaurav says that the workers aren't their family members, they're workers. Parvati says that this company is also like a big family and they could try talking to them. Gaurav tries to protest but Parvati tells him that she has run a house for so long and he should let her run the company like she has run the house. Parvati tells Krishna that the formalities should be completed today if the workers agree and tells a slightly annoyed Gaurav to arrange a meeting with all the employees since she wants to meet them.
The workers are lined up in Parvati's office. She tells them that they are going through a bad phase and they need the workers' support. She tells them that they have found a project that they have a chance of receiving but there are some difficulties. She tells them that if they want this project then the company won't be able to pay the workers their incremental salary and a bonus. Parvati then adds that if they get the project then the workers will receive a share of the company's shares. Parvati tells them that she would be extremely grateful if they supported them and says some dialogues about Om and his connection to the company. Gaurav is shown scowling while Parvati asks for support. Parvati then asks if any one of them is willing to support the company. Nobody says anything for awhile and Parvati is about to turn back but just then one man says that he supports them. Parvati is happy and Gaurav is shown surprised. Another person adds that their department will also support them. Slowly, one by one, everyone agrees and Parvati thanks them. They then leave.
Gaurav is with Kamal and telling him that he thinks that they aren't doing a good thing by trusting the workers. Kamal disagrees and says that Parvati didn't force them into anything and she has more experience in life than they do. Gaurav says that wasn't what he was saying and he thinks that the workers can't be trusted. Kamal still disagrees and Gaurav says that the workers aren't family and there is no guarantee that they won't revolt. Kamal doesn't agree with him but just says that he'll go see if Krishna has filled out the papers and then he'll send them to Gaurav to get checked over.
Gayatri is walking down the stairs when Sameer walks in through the front door. They greet each other and Sameer says that he came to spend time with Shruti since all his meetings got canceled. Gayatri tells him that she was going for her routine check up and he asks if she's going alone. Gayatri says she is since Shruti, Shilpa and Chaya are gone shopping and Vandi, Maji, and Dadi are gone to a kirtan and Parvati is gone to the office. Sameer volunteers to go with her but Gayatri says that he should ask Shruti first. He says that he doesn't need to but she insists so he calls Shruti. Shruti doesn't mind and they leave for the hospital.
Sameer and Gayatri reach the hospital. Sameer acts like a gentleman and opens the door for Gayatri to the doctor's office. He then helps her sit on the chair. They both sit down and the doctor says that she did a good job by bringing the baby's father. They both get uncomfortable. The doctor says that everything's normal and this is Gayatri's last sonography for the month and they should get to it. The doctor and Gayatri go towards the curtained area while Sameer waits outside. The doctor then comes back and talks to Sameer. She asks him if he won't come. Sameer tries to say something but the doctor won't listen. She says that she has been telling Gayatri that she should bring her husband with her for a long time now but she never listened. She practically drags him in there and once in there, Sameer seems pretty interested in watching the baby. Gayatri then remembers the time that she and Sameer had spent with the kids at the camp. They go back outside and the doctor tells Gayatri that everything is normal. She then tells Sameer that she is glad that he has come and she always told Gayatri to bring along her husband. She says that she has a form that is important for him to fill out. Gayatri tries to make an excuse but they aren't able to get out of it. Sameer fills out the form and they leave.
Gaurav is talking to someone on the phone and says he'll talk to Parvati and then answer back. Kamal walks in and asks what happened and Gaurav tells him that Parvati has decided to talk a loan from the bank and put the office papers down as security. Kamal says that he doesn't see any problem in that and Gaurav says that they made such a big deal when he gave the house papers to Suyash and now that Parvati has given the office papers....Kamal says that is exactly the difference. That was the house and this is the office. Kamal also says that Parvati is only thinking of doing this while Gaurav had taken money from Suyash, blown it away in the market and secretly given their house papers away. Kamal also adds that Parvati has been forced to take this step only because they are still suffering the loses from Gaurav's loans. Kamal then leaves telling Gaurav to check over the papers. After he leaves, Gaurav thinks to himself that whatever he did may have been wrong but he won't let Parvati repeat his mistake and he must take to everyone at home about this.
Sameer is sitting in the garden and thinking of when Parvati told him that Shruti can't have kids and Parvati asking him to always take care of Shruti and not let her ever feel the emptiness. Sameer also has flashes of his visit with Gayatri to the hospital. Krishna sees Sameer sitting there and goes to talk to him. They have only greeted each other when Krishna gets a call from Gunn. He then talks to his daughter on the phone and tries to be all cute. He tries to get his daughter to call him papa. Sameer hears all this. After Krishna is done on the phone, Sameer and him chat about how a father feels about becoming a father and stuff. Krishna talks about his future plans for his daughter and Sameer kind of feels sad. He thinks that his wife can't be the mother of his child and the mother of his child, isn't his wife.
Sameer inserts a VHS into the VCR and plays it. It's a copy of Gayatri's sonography. He then hears someone calling him and he quickly switches it off and ejects the tape. Shilpa comes into his room and tells him to come downstairs and asks why he is sitting up here alone. He replies that he was waiting for Shruti but Shilpa says that she went with Sonu to her friend's house and they'll be back in about an hour or so. She tells him to come down but he doesn't want to and goes off somewhere. Shilpa picks up the remote control and puts it on the table. She sees some papers on the table and reads them. She then sees the tape in the VCR titled Gayatri's Baby. She wonders what this tape and Gayatri's pregnancy reports are doing with Sameer.
The family is sitting downstairs and Chaya asks Parvati if they already had less problems that she brought upon another one. Parvati says that they need the funds for the project but Chaya says that business isn't run by emotions and Gaurav agrees by saying that he has been trying to say that for along time. Chaya says that Parvati isn't able to handle the business. Parvati says that she knows what she is doing and Chaya says that she's bringing a new problem upon them. Kamal tries to stop Chaya but she says that everyone is worshiping Parvati and they shouldn't get Suyash angry when he has been winning the contract for the last 5 years. Gaurav agrees with Chaya and says that he said this earlier and this tender is too risky for them. He says that if they don't get it then they'll be on the streets. Parvati asks him why he is saying that when he knows that business is a type of gambling. Chaya then in a loud whisper tells Gaurav to forget it and this Parvati and she is very arrogant and she won't listen to them. Dadi tells Chaya to be quiet. Dadi then asks Parvati very nicely if she knows what she is doing and Parvati tells them to have faith in them. Parvati is then given the thumbs up to go ahead with the loan and the episode ends.
