So what do you guys think about this?
I'm still in a shock about the whole winding up of KGGK, watched SBS a few days ago and yesterday checked here in the forums for confirmation, and I still cant believe Kahaani is gonna officially be finished in a few weeks time😕.
I dont know exactly how I feel that it will end soon, a small part of me wants to let it go so it finishes on a high and the excitement levels are with the show till its end, as lets face it these past few months have been quite a ride for Kahaani....so many inconsistencies and unnecessary tracks that the show was losing its charm. On the other hand a huge part of me doesnt want it to end,.....its such a void that wont be filled ever by any other show, KGGK has always, and will always be my fav show from Indian television! So any replacement for this show, I will hate that show instantly😆
The sad thing is that Kahaani didnt have to end so suddenly, and had so many potential tracks that they could have utilised to bring the show back to its best. Many of times Kahaani has had its share of bumps, but still managed to pick up to its best, so why not this time, especially as now at present (India eps) its surely has picked up again.
The biggest downfall of all K-shows is that they never bloody complete one track off fully, and start billion others, and that subsquently causes so much confusion and irrelevancy to the whole show. Kahaani for many years juggled so many multi-tracks together beautifully, but unfortuntely recently its been subject to the K-formula of over usage of tracks, that have vanished through thin air before there completion 😭.
Do you agree that it should end or not?
Again cant answer this yet, but I guess on the last day of the show, I will terribly miss it like anything, no matter how boring the tracks got I still would manage to find time for Kahaani...... for my fav show, which had many of my fav characters OPS, Sasha, Pallavi and so many others. I guess more than anything else its the actors that I will miss who for so many years have put up such a fantastic show, especially Saakshi Tanwar, my personal fav TV actress ever, who performed every day out of the world, her performance has always touched my heart (which so many actors fail to do so, even from bollywood/hollywood), I have laughed, cried (the latter on so many occassions 😆 😳) practically felt every emotion she went through, and only an accomplished actress can achieve such feat, on a every day basis 👏, really applaud her from the bottom of my heart! Love you Paro/Saakshi!👏😳
She really kept this show together with help of many other beautifully talented people around her (esp Kiran K, Tina, Both Pallavi's , Ali, Chetan, all the Shilpa's and so many others!)
Just an example of this is the OPS scenes, never ever have I scene an onscreen family that I can closely relate to, there scenes where probably the biggest asset of this show, every emotion they went through as a family, it ran through my heart.
Overall I can happily say that there are countless positives that I can take away from this show, so when I do remember it over the years, will talk about it fervently.
How do you think they will end it?
I think so far (havent seen the eps of India, but from the updates) that Kahaani is possibly getting its best finish esp concerning some characters. I cant emphasise enough of my joy to see finally Paro/Pallavi together, and actually understanding each other's perspectives but more importantly respecting and valuing each other again in there lifes. This kind of mutual understanding has some where always been there, but wasnt touched upon so openly, so finally seeing it now, is an great achievement by the writers of this show.
The best part is Paro (sub consciously always knew it) actually accepting in front of Pallavi that Pallavi was wronged by the AG's so many times, maybe from Paro herself to unintentionally, which subsquently made Pallavi the way she is today. I LOVED that bit, and the final hug between the two, was a moment that will always be cherished. And finally, Kamal will realise that Pallavi was his only ever true love, just he couldnt understand her the way he should have!
I now just hope in the coming days we get loads of OP and OPS scenes (esp the latter the creatives so owe us some, ever since Kiran has come back we never got any scenes of them together like before), and they as a family get the best possible farewell.
Also I'm very happy that Adi is back (cant wait to catch with these eps in the UK)......but now it only is justified to bring Mets back too, and conclude there relationship properly. Garima can be completely forgotten and not even be mentioned as of what ever happened to her😆, as long as AM are finally together.
Also I would really love to see all the missing characters to make an finally entery, even the dead ones Lol😆, probably on the last ep, to make it that extra special, as every member of this show contributed there efforts to such a fantastic show.
What will you like to see happen?
All above mentioned really, though one think that will always irritate me to some extent is, esp since the change of Pallavi and Sasha, is that these AG's never ever did anything to redeem themselves, or there disgusting behaviour towards Paro. Like always its Paro again who has come to the rescue of these ungrateful creeps. I hope creatives do something about this, though its seems very unlikely😆!
A final special thanks goes to Ekta👏 for bringing my fav actor back on this show, Om/Kiran, as it will be absoultely brilliant to actually get to see him being physically part (as oppose to, if he didnt return and they got his ghost or something for the last ep) of this show till its end....... Kiran's performance like Saakshi's have always been a highlight of this show for me, so his (and Tina's) presence in the final eps of the show will only add to the greatness of this show.
For now that's probably all I can think off, as Im still in shock that its gonna end soon, but as the finish date comes closer, Im sure I will miss such a fantastic show, which lasted so long as the top show on TV, alot.
