Hi everyone, zyaada kuch achcha nahi likha hein. Par i felt like writing.rohit leaving to delhi last night made me feel all what sona would have felt. I am not taking any side about the fight they had prior to that. A simple reconciliation was all i needed. Hence penned this down, probably my worst writing till date. All chappals welcome😆 love you all so very much.let me know how you feel anyways. Hugs
Though surgeon Rohit sippy was in delhi, his mind was totally in astray. He left home without a proper goodbye to his sona and now for some unknown reason his heart was invaded by a fear which he had never had about anyone.yes he was angry at her but that doesn’t mean that he will ignore this weird fear he was sensing about her. He was supposed to get ready for the conference tomorrow and its now a few hours away from midnight but he was unable to pay attention to his work.
something was wrong.he grabbed his mobile out and switched it on.repeatedly Dialling sonakshi’s number he waited, but he got no answer. Next he tried calling veena whose line was busy and his suspicions were getting higher. He felt distressed and the next moment veena called him back.
“Mom sona hein wahan? Please give her the phone..”
“Rohit, sonakshi ko kahi mil nahi rahi....ye mausam bhi aaj ko karab hona ta aur...”
There it is, his fears turning to a worse reality.
“What. What why what happened to her. Mom please tell me, kya hua usse.”
“Sab teek ta,rohit.aakash ke restaurant pe hum sab dinner kar rahe the aur pata nahi kese tumare paapa ko sonakshi ki uss rain dance ko pataa chal chuka tha aur sab ke saamne naren usko kuch zyaada hi chillaya....”
“Mom i told you ki agar mujhe koi eitraaz nahi hein toh meri biwi ke kaam se toh paapa phir kyun... shit...toh phir...”
“Baat saroorat se zyaada lamba ho raha tha aur sonakshi tho ek lafz bhi nahi batayi chup chaap sab sehenke rahi...phir naren uski paapa ke baaremein pata nahi kaha se drag karadiya beech mein aur sonakshi kuch kahe bina chali gayi. Rohit mujhe laga wo ghar jaa chuki hein lekin...nahi hein kahi bhi wo. Bahar mausam bohot karaab hein aur ajit aur YK doonde gaya hein usse....mumbai is flooded rohit mujhe....”
Rohit didn't hear anything further, only fear just ran over him who felt like something bad is going to happen.
He dialled the conference holder, his colleague and excused himself off of this due to an emergency and frantically dialled the travel agent next asking him to prepone his ticket to get back to mumbai at the immediate next flight.
——————————————
The night was long to sippy mansion when YK and ajit brought an unconscious sonakshi back home.the vehicle she drove was stuck at the floods and ajit have had to break open the doors to take her out.she was having running fever already and veena immediately started to look after her.
It was around half past four in the morning when ajit and YK who were seated at the hall saw rohit rushing in at a total unexpected moment.seeing blood spilled in the floor rohit nearly lost it.
“Ajit....s...ona kahaan hein? Tume mila usse? Ye khoon kese...kya hua usse,YK? ” he screamed.
“Rohit shaant...hojao.ye ajit ko naa, sona ko bachaate wakt chot laga issliye hein.sona teek hein, filaal behosh hein lekin teek... “ he couldn’t complete as rohit rushed upstairs like a madman.
He didn’t know how or when he reached their room, where they last met, where they last talked and where they last were together.
“Sona....” he ran to their bed, where she was kept, and veena, pooja and vimmi were around her. He took her lifeless form to his arms and hugged her face to his chest.
“Rohit, its okay.maamuli si bhukar hein,Dr.dimpy aur dr.punit dono aaya hein usse check karne...injection bhi dedi...”
“Maamuli? Really mom? Look at her,Eisa kabhi nahi reheti ye. Har wakt baat karke karke mera dimaag ka jaati hein aur dekho naa,ab kuch bhi nahi kehete...sona,uto naa....please. Dekho mein aachuka hoon. Please..aakhein kolona...sona... hey...sona look at me...”
“Rohit usko aaram ko zaroorat hein...tum shaant ho jao. When the fever goes down she will wake up...”
“Pooji tume nahi pata, kal se bhukar thi isse. Mein neh dawaayi bhi lene ko kaha, drama queen hein mera kabhi sunti nahi hein.aur injection....tume pata hein issko injection se bohot dar lagti hein...pata nahi kese bardaaf ki....”
Veena came and patted his back.
“Rohit, apne apko samalo...doctor hein na tu?eise toot pade tho kese karunge tum apna kaam...”
He placed sona on her bed, standing up.
“Doctor to hoon mom lekin mein bhi ek insaan hoon.mujhe bhi dard mishoos hota hein, mera dil ko bhi dukh ho sakta hein, aur specially jab baat sona ko hoti hein naa...tab bohot sensitive ho jaata hoon mein ...” veena was amazed to see those tears in his eyes. Rohit rarely cried and veena knew it better than anybody.
“Aur mein neh uski haat taamli hein mom.isski maa ko waada kiya tha mein neh...ki hamesha isski khayal rakhne ki...jo mein aaj nahi karpaaya...jagda karke gaya hoon isse, kahi kuch ho jati sona ko,the last thing she will remember is that i left without a goodbye even....”
He sat down on the edge of their bed.
“Aur kya saroorat tha wo hangama karneke paapa ko? I told you i was there at her shoot. Sona ko kitna parishaan hua tha uss din wo mein khud deka apne aakhose...mere kehene par hi wo sab kuch kiya. Toh phir kyun. Why mom why? And uske paapa ko beechmein le aane ka kya saroorat hein. Aaj tak mein bhi nahi poocha usse isske baaremein...toh phir kyun...why...”
He drowned his head in his hands. Veena understood the state he was at. She signalled the other two to leave as she left too. Rohit silently crushed his tears off his eyes and went to have a wash.
Walking back from the shower, the emptyness of the room made his heart tug.it hurted him to be in such a hollow place despite her physically being there. Her calling him “rohit” and her soft words, their silly arguements... everything flashedback in front of her eyes and there she was lying all unconscious on their bed, and he was missing her lively presence around him terribly. Yeah so we had a fight, but i cannot ever loose her.
Walking to the bed, he looked at her while lying down slowly next to her. Then he took off the colonge plaster off her forehead and put a new one atop. She remained immobile except for the warm breaths that she let out fanning his cheeks very faintly. He took a deep sighing caressing her head slowly.
“Kya hua hein tume sona. Kal Jo bhi hua hum dono ke beech wo sab chod lo.I am so sorry i left you like that.agar mein yaha hota toh kabhi kissi ko kuch kehene bhi nahi dunga tum par. I am sorry sona....please please jaldi se teek ho jao ab bas.bohot miss kar raha hoon tume. Please uto jaldi aur mujhse baat karo....please... ” he whispered to her. A tear overflew his eyes and wetted her cheek and he wiped his eyes and her cheek both from his free hand.
Slowly he took her into his arms and made her lie on his bare chest and covered them both with the duvet. She was burning warm against his cold body and he hugged her tighter. He leaned his head over hers and snuggled her close to him and closed his eyes.
Get well soon sona.bas.get well soon. His mind cried when a slight sleep was invading him while his heart ached for her.
A few hours would have passed as he cuddled sleeping to her but an unusal movement woke him up.
“Paapa. Rukhona. Mat jaao please. Paapa...mein aapke bina nahi rehe paunga... please paapa... suno na....mumma ro rahi hein...paapa please mat jaao....” sonakshi was crying in sleep, sweat was flowing down her face and she was stirring and moving in her sleep. He panicked witnessing a never seen form of her being so jittery and tensed and he held her tighter to him.
“Sona...sona....hey look at me.kuch nahi hua hein..its just a dream...sona wake up. Dekho mein aaya hoon aur sab teek hein..hey...sona, shhhh shant ho jao...shaant...” he rubbed her back repeatedly and kissed her forehead in between to make her feel better.
She moved a bit as her eyes shot opened and their eyes met after such a long wait,he felt. He wiped her tears and sweat from his palm and held her cheek. Her temperature was going down and he felt a bit relieved.
“Sona...its okay..its okay, see i am here with you. Wo ek bura sapna tha.bas. Sab teek hein. Dekho i came back and you are with me. Kuch nahi hoga....”
She tried to register what was happening and slowly everything came back to her mind.
She was glad that rohit next to her was real and everything she saw was a dream, and without a seconds break she clinged to his shoulder and hid her face in his embrace.
“Rohit...” she started sobbing against his body.
“Kyun gaya mujhe chod ke.maana ki mujhse galti hua lekin eise chod ke jaata hein koi. When you asked me whether i will leave you, i said right i will not go even if you ask me to.Toh mujhe chod ke kyun gaya tum haa....paapa bhi gaya mujhe chod ke. Ab kya tum bhi jaaonge?”
“Hey..eisa mat kaho.i am sorry ki mujhe chalna pada...conference tha issiliye gaya.tume saat leke chalna tha mujhe, its my fault that i didn’t. Sona dekho, jo bhi paapa kahaan tumse aur tumari paapa ki baaremein, please forget all that....i am sorry ki ussne neh tume itna pareshaan kiya.”
“Tumari kya galti hein rohit...aur paapa bhi galat nahi hein,i told you right they will not like to see their bahu with someone else..”
“tum toh tumari kaam kar rahi thi nah sona. Aur mein bhi ta wahaan aur apne aakose dekha hein mein tumari shoot. Don’t be silly. Toh paapa ko dekhne bhi kitna patients roz aati hein aur wo sabki sab female hein, magar mom kabhi uske baaremein toh kuch nahi keheti hein. Toh phir ye kya baat hui?”
“Wahi baat alag hein naa rohit...”
“Nahi hein kuch alag.same hein aur hum dono isske baaremein kuch baat nahi karunge ab...”
“Rohit....”
“No matlab no. Kamse kam ab suno mere baat please.”
She silenced herself and snuggle close to him.
“Tumare conference chod kar kyun aaya rohit...”
“Tumari aata pata kuch nahi chala aur mein wahaan conference karu? Kese?”
“Gayaab hui, kuch aur toh nahi hui naa.kaam important hein rohit. Mere wajese wo sab mat bigaado....”
“Kuch aur hua toh tume, mein kabhi jee nahi paunga sona. Aur kaam important hein right, lekin tumse zyaada toh nahi...”
“Rohit par....”
“Listen to me Sona.i am thinking about something else.I want to move out somewhere with you. I mean its been too much now, paapa kuch zyaada....”
“Nahi rohit, please no. Do not overreact to what he said. If we are going to run away from a problem nothing will be fine, jo bhi ho,yaahan rehe kar sort out karlenge hum.please....”
He nodded, not wanting to strain her more. In mind he decided one thing, whatever happens he will never leave her like he did today, he will fight with her but never he will leave her like that. Afterall she is his and he is hers. Jagda toh apno se hota hein, so apno se dhoor jaana chahte bhi jaunge kahaan.
He looked down to see her closing eyes again, cuddling to his warmth. He switched off the lights and covered them both again with the duvet properly. He felt her lips touching his collarbone, giving him chills down her body even in her state of almost asleep. She breathed faintly in her sleep and he clutched her to his body tight and pressed his lips on her forehead, inhaling her smell and for the first time in their marriage, they were in such a intimate situation he remembered. That too as a patient and a doctor,he smiled seeing the mockery of the situation.
Right now nothing else mattered, they were together and it was what he wanted always.its time for a good morning sleep now. He was in her arms. He was home.
