Yes, she overstepped her boundaries. It should have been a team decision between Rohit and her. She needs to understand that she is no longer the sole player here. Rohit is equally affected by everything she does.

Having said that, I do feel that expecting her to keep a secret, to disregard her own opinion and thoughts is a monumental expectation, stressed further by the fact that she was not given the entire truth. Yes, Rohit is under no obligation to share all family secrets with her. But that holds true only as long as there is no expectation from his end to blindly aid him in his hide-and-seek game. The moment you include your wife in the ongoing decisions regarding anything big, she deserves to know the truth. If Sona was not expected to hold her silence or blindly go "with-the-flow" with the rest of the Sippys, then sure - Rohit doesn't need to share everything with her. But that is NOT the situation anymore.

My husband doesn't tell me everything about his family either, but if I am expected to behave a certain way in front of them or to not talk about something specific - I am always given the full picture as to why I am being expected to follow through. There is only so long a self-respecting person will nod and stay mum to everything around them unless they understand the gravity of the situation. I do not defend Sonakshi, but she's not the only one who is on the wrong side here.

I agree with what you said about behaving a certain way can only be done after knowing what’s going on but Rohit can’t decide when and how should Pooja’s truth be told to anybody. Only YK and Nishi have the right to decide that. Similarly, when and how should Pooja meet Rani is not a decision for Sonakshi to take, its YK and Nishi’s decision. Sonakshi robbed them off of their parental rights in her baseless quest of uniting a ‘Bichdi hui maa beti’. Not only that, in her quest, she also broke her promise of not helping Pooja, which Rohit had very specifically asked her to do.

Even after doing all this, she expected Rohit to listen to her sob story and support her while she couldn’t support him once throughout the Pooja incident. How does that make sense? Rohit knows his family way better than she does, still she thinks it’s okay for her to make decisions without consulting him even once?

And then there was an epic monologue where she acted like she was a victim 🤯

You are not wrong, but right now its not about Sonakshi or even Rohit himself. If this was something related to Rohit it would have been understandable but right now it about pooja and her parents. No matter what Rohit knows or doesn't know its not his Secret or STORY to share. And Sonakshi should have realised that what she did was beyond stupid, cuz right now what she is meddling in does not concern her but it definitely and seriously affect the lives of the other 3 people.

Under no circumstances can Sona ever justify taking such a big Right of revealing this personal information to their daughter from YK and Nishi, right now what she has done is she has infringed the right of those 2 sincere parents, for which Rohit and others are absolutely right and justified to be angry with her.

As someone rightly pointed out , it's not about what she did but when and how ..I agree she couldn't have had a better perspective of things without knowing the complete truth but why couldn't she wait for a day or two? Like nishi said , pooja requested them also to help her find her real parents but they turned it down so there must be a reason.. what about the consequences? What if pooja says the next day " I am leaving this house , I will earn and support my mom"?

Isnt this unfair to yk and nishi? They have selflessly brought up pooja and love her so much ..even the best parent cant see their daughter showering all her love on some other person (her real parent ) n they will always feel insecure about it..that pooja might abandon them one day since she is an adult ?

Agreed! If you want a person to keep thing secret and not dig things, then the reason should be spelled out upfront! especially when it comes to family matters. Sonakshi was right in upfront disclosing the truth to pooja as she had already tried to commit suicide.

If Rohit, YK and Nishi were so concerned then they should have taken family members in confidence and discussed. Rohit a surgeon said once death is a straight line for doctors and when they can say tough things to other families ... they it’s just matter of Sippy’s with whom he has grown ... truth always prevails!

Here, Rohit should have spoken to Sonakshi when she asked a hundred times! Even Nishi and YK insisted him to speak to Sona...

Now blaming Sonakshi for the future result of this is shit! Whoever is responsible father / whatever is the culprit for the disaster and Sonakshi!

Really, YK and Nishi’s decision? Then why did Rohit not listen to YK and Nishi to tell Sonakshi everything first?

When YK and Nishi have agreed with Rani’s stay at Sippy’s mansion then why is he asking Rani to leave?

What if somebody from sippys went to netra and threaten her to stop the telecast of the rain epi? Veena was criticized for discussing it with suman, she didnt go to netra also...that's what it is..being so Intrusive.with somebody's life isnt done , even if they are your husbands family..and if everyone goes by their judgement of right and wrong , sippys r justified too in raising an objection to sona s dance ..

Absolutely but some people don't want to understand this. they are singing one song only that Rohit hid something from Sonakshi... and as far as Pooja's legal right to know about her real parents, right comes duties, if you think that you have right then go do some duties towards your Rani Ma, atleast. With what legal right Pooja brought Rani, into Sippy mansion, its like taken for granted.similarly Rani has no legal right on her daughter when she gave her for adoption then why she was asking Sona to let her meet once.

and btw lets reverse the situation, what if some young girl or boy appeared from somewhere and gives proof that he/she is child of Sona's father from another wife, will that be okay if Rohit takes him/ her to Sona's mother without even consulting Sona?
