So he should have sat down with Rohit and Sonakshi and shared his concerns have Badi mumma and Veena YK with him

This all business of going behind the back ..that is what is wrong

Sonakshi is adding to it by not sharing the prenup thing with Rohit

You are all going to be family one day and if in the beginning itself there are so many allegations and mis understandings how will they ever trust each other ?

If they trusted Sona then they would have been sure that she will do nothing wrong with Rohit’s share of property

I dont think Siyapaa is any better than Suman when it comes to tackiness, so did YK signed a prenup (i am sure not)

Siyappa is no better than Suman and hence the relations are strained there. Y will they sign a prenup when YK is staying with them and working for them? It’s not Sona they don’t trust. It’s Suman coz Suman will definitely claim for alimony if it comes to a divorce. Trust needs to be established. It won’t happen overnight. The prenup was not right. But in India like Siyappa said the bond forms between two families and not two individuals. Sad but that’s true.

Naren had his misgivings about Sona for a long time. Sona made progress when she handled the media on their sangeet. Naren too had probably accepted Sona. Ur already distrusting a person and they continue to do one or more things that only increase your doubt what can one expect? If u remember the 26th sep night, Naren overheard Siyappa and Suman chatting. Siyappa tells Suman her daughter hit jackpot that she is getting married into such a rich family. Instead of giving it back to Siyappa telling her her daughter is self sufficient and earned well enough for herself what does Suman say? My daughter is the most loved bahu of this nation and who knows Sippys despite their wealth? Their daughter will make them famous! Can anybody expect Naren to warm up to Sona after that? Infact Sippys hate being in news and for that matter any family like theirs will be. They only want to be in news where their work is concerned. Their private life is never in the open. So y will they even care that Sona is a famous TV actress? They will treat it like any other profession. This tackiness was just too much. Suman may give back to people but she does so in a manner that projects Sona itself in a bad light. That poor girl despite being so famous is down to earth but what the hell is Suman doing? She has made things so bad for her own child. There were times when I felt like warming up to Suman but she just does something the very next second which makes me dislike her like nothing else. And in most of the divorce cases, the parents and relatives make it ugly than the person getting divorced and its common. Even during sangeeth Naren mocking Sona was wrong and he could have just mentioned y have these posters instead of saying who endorses such products? Suman had to answer back to Naren for humiliating Naren but she made it ten times worse by saying who will give u money for posting pic in SM. She might be interested in making money that way but some people will not want to make a tamasha of themselves on SM even if they were offered the world's wealth. Sona will never want Sippy's money but after having seen Suman and her tackiness no one will feel like associating themselves with that woman. Its easy to say the child is not the parent. But if the child comes with the parent as a package deal then no one will be thrilled either. Other than Naren everybody accepted Sona wholeheartedly and Naren too was taking baby steps towards Sona. But Suman did mess it up this time. Going behind somebody's back and enquiring about property details sounds so cheap and I know this because something similar happened with my brother. And believe me this kind of tacky attitude doesn't go down well with everyone. One can understand the girl's parents are interested to secure their future but if they can't even show a little bit of trust and patience that relationship will fall even before it can get a chance to grow further. I get a background check is needed when you donno much about the other person. But when u have known them for sometime at least do them the courtesy of showing some trust.

Suman could have shared her worries with Veena in a subtle manner and I am sure Veena would have understood her worries and addressed it. Instead she does something like this which puts her own child in a spot.

I understand your point.But about Suman though her daughter is a famous actress she still has the typical middle class mentality who is curious about her future son-in-law's bank balance even if their daughter herself is financially stable(especially because of her hardships in the past to raise ker kids).I have seen a lot of example regarding that.So I can understand what they are trying to show.But yes the way she handled the whole thing was wrong like secretly trying to find out Rohit's financial status.

Its not about middle or upper class dear. Its about attitude and how you address a certain concern. Coz I come from a middle class family too and my brother had a similar experience when the girl's father had Suman's attitude. He was too pissed off and he did not even wish to go ahead with the proposal. All he had to say was if there is no trust why even bother building a relationship?
