I don't know. I think maybe initially Rohit thought of going back to Raima for her health and whatever reasons, probably that's why he even told his family that his and Sona's relation was a facade. But today, while spending spending time with Raima, when she was hugging him and confessing her love, he realised that he cannot go ahead with this because his heart now belongs to Sona. That's why he left to meet Sona in such a hurry. And infront of Sona, all that rambling was him just speaking out what he thinks he should be doing because Sona is the only one with whom he shares his feelings. Maybe he had decided what he actually wants but before reaching that point he was just saying what he thought was the right thing to do.

Now we just have to wait till Monday to see what Rohit actually wants to say because there was much more in bts segments and I hope cvs haven't edited all of that.

I don't know... I have always found Rohit to be a problematic character but atm he's unbearable! Off late, selfishness is the only trait that has stood out whatever the track. Be it requesting Sona to be his fake girlfriend, or blaming her for the birthday thingie or now this neither-here-nor-there sort of confession and the rest in between. I admit...there was a character progression arc with the Mhatre track but somehow to me these small things overpower that and he comes across as extremely narcissistic and egocentric. It doesn't help that the character has almost never apologized for his mistakes. I can continue watching for the love story and lead pair's chemistry but I wish they had found a middle ground with these characters... One is too mahaan and the other is too self centred. Such uninspiring characterizations combined with OTT drama takes off the sheen!
