Depika's Acting

I feel depika is much better in comedy and light hearted scenes than emotional scenes.. Her emotional scenes looks little over the top.. But in comedy or normal light hearted scenes she pulled of quite well.. I think she needs to tone down a bit when it's comes to emotional scenes.. What u guys think about this? And i am not bashing her it's just criticism from viewers point of view..

I think depika herself is always try to be someone like partvati.. Even in big boss house she was like that.. May b it's her personality but as a actress she needs to potray like character demands.. And as per concept sonakshi needs to b different from parvati.. I think makers plus depika failed here.. Cause they promised to show us differenice between actress and character but unfortunately they ended in portray these two as similar..

I think it's lack of good direction... She is asked to cry all the time and she does that... I seriously think they need to stop showing her as "poor" parvati... You are right, their comic scenes were so damn good... I am waiting for all this fashion show garbage to get cleared and then they get back to their great chemistry...

@bold, I agree wid.. I feel like she looks elder wen she is in saree... Modern dresses lookks better.. Acting wise she's good in evrything but screaming is overdone 🤔

I find Dipika is a great actor over all. Thing is most of us don't like d over dramatic scenes so we don't like her acting in them.

Today's episode ......she literally have so many expressions in dt shooting....in 5 mins. So I don't think she is at fault wid d emotional scenes. Its d director ..... directors instruct actors to tone down or dial up emotions......dts their job.

About the similarities between Sona and Paravati ....I would like to cite an example. I had read a very famous movie actor say dt when his mother passed away he didn't know if his own tears were real or not. He said that because he was so used to doing such emotional scenes in movies he couldn't distinguish if his emotions were real or because he was so used to crying in such scenes in his movies. So there are more similarities dan we guys think.

It's a life we see from outside and make assumptions. We don't know what they actually go through.

I used to cringe seeing Deepika as Simar, even fleetingly. That show was ott on next level. Hence was skeptical to watch her in KHKT. But boy she is fabulous in comedy and light moments.. She should stay away from emotional roles like Simar.. She shines in comic scenes.. how i had missed seeing her cracking jokes on Rohit past two weeks !!
