Sunaina's home- Engagement Ceremony
Karun yells that he and Sunaina are made for each other! All are shocked- Sunaina begins to cry. Dev gets up and tells Karun to get out. Karun says that if God puts us in such situations then we become helpless and Sunaina and I have to speak out- she won't so I will! Dev gets angry and yells that Karun is lying- he turns to Sunaina and asks her to tell everyone that Karun is lying. Sunaina is silently crying. She does not look up or say anything. Demant watches her, Shamit gets worried. One of the aunties starts yelling at Sunaina for staying silent while they are being insulted by a boy. Shamit's mom tells everyone to be quiet- She says that Sunaina is the only one who will speak now. Soman also asks Sunaina to tell them what is going on. All are waiting for her to speak. Sunaina finally opens her mouth and says, "Papa, no papa- he is lying!" Karun is upset and yells, "No Sunaina- you are lying, you know the truth and you will tell this truth to everyone now! Everyone- just give me a moment to speak to her!" Karun walks towards Sunaina, but Demant stops him. Karun says he has to talk to Sunaina, but Demant drags him out of there. Karun keeps yelling that he loves Sunaina! But its too late, Demant has taken him away.
Outside, Karun keeps telling Demant that he has to talk to Sunaina, but Demant says he will beat him up if he mentions Sunaina once more. Shamit, however, comes outside and tells Demant to wait. He says he wants to talk to the boy. Demant goes back inside. Shamit asks him if he really loves Sunaina. Karun says yes. Shamit then asks him if Sunaina loves him. Karun says yes. Shamit asks then why didn't Sunaina say anything? Karun says because she is afraid of you, if she said something.....Rakshet cuts him off and tells Karun to leave. Shamit is getting suspicious that Karun knows about everything (the house and his deal with Sunaina). Karun ignores Rakshet and says that Sunaina loves him! Dev arrives outside and yells that Sunaina does not love him! Dev kicks Karun out with lots of threats. Rakshet drags Karun away. Karun keeps screaming that he loves Sunaina. Soman watches this from the window- she looks very sad.
Shamit's mom is comforting Sunaina- Kanta Aunty is being 🤬 and gossiping in her rude manner making a scene. Sunaina can't take it and runs to her room. Saloni runs after Sunaina and asks her to stop crying. Sunaina tells her that she doesn't understand what God is punishing her for. Saloni says its not her fault- but that Rakshet's (Karun)!!! Sunaina tells her not to even take his name in front of her! She says that she knew he was bad but everyone was against her and let him into the house. Sunaina cries and asks why is he doing this to her....
Outside- Karun is telling Rakshet that he is doing all of this because he loves Sunaina. He says that Sunaina is his life. Rakshet says that if she is his life, why is he ruining hers? He tells Karun that he is stealing Sunaina from Shamit.
Shamit is telling his mom that he can't marry Sunaina anymore. He says that nobody can tell a lie with as much faith as that boy did. He adds that he saw the love in Sunaina's eyes for him. His mom tries to convince him that the boy was lying. She tells Shamit not to make a hasty decision and talk to Sunaina. She adds that Sunaina can tell you if its the truth or if the boy is playing a game. Shamit thinks that its not the boy playing, but Sunaina playing a game with him and now she will have to pay the price.😡
Sunaina is in her room saying that that backstabber (Karun) has left her with nothing to say against his words. Soman walks in and says that Sunaina is wrong. Soman asks Sunaina to tell her the truth. Sunaina gets upset and says that the boy is lying- its his stupidity, his game! Sunaina starts crying that her mother is believing that unknown boy over her daughter😭
Soman tells Sunaina not to think that she doesn't believe her, but to at least now tell her the truth of whether she is being pressured into this marriage. Sunaina stops crying and remembers Shamit's conversation on the phone. She thinks that this engagement has to take place now otherwise.....
Saloni says that Sunaina should have talked to the boy earlier, then this engagement- this scene would not have taken place. Shamit overhears Saloni say this and thinks that the whole things is a game being played by Sunaina. He walks off planning how to take revenge!😡
Soman is about to say something, but Sunaina says she will tell her mother the truth now- the truth is that she does not love that boy!
Downstairs
Soman goes to Chaya Devi and tells her that they should complete the ceremony now. But Shamit gets up and in front of everyone says that Sunaina loves someone else- he can't marry her! Soman and Dev tell him its a lie, but Shamit says that he heard it with his own ears- Sunaina loves that boy. Shamit's mom tells him again to just go and meet Sunaina.
Outside- Karun refuses to go, he tells Rakshet that he has to speak to Sunaina once more, his heart tells him that she doesn't want to marry Shamit but is being forced to.
Sunaina's room- Shamit arrives. Saloni goes. Shamit is angry and telling Sunaina that he knows that boy loves her- it was in his eyes. Sunaina says there is nothing like this.
Outside- Karun says that he doesn't know if the road is right or wrong, but the way of his life is going towards Sunaina- he has to go to her. Rakshet continues to tell him to leave.
Karan and Rakshet are sneaking back into the house.
Inside- Shamit says that he is breaking the engagement and that he is going to ask her father for all of the money he owes him right now!! Sunaina cries and hangs on to his feet.😭 She begs him to rethink it over. He says fine- she has chaubis (24 hours- thanks to thegr8talha for telling me, i m bad with my numbers in hindi😳) to return him all of the money her father owes him. He walks off and Sunaina cries saying that they will be destroyed!!😭
Downstairs- Karun and Rakshet listen as Shamit tells his mom to leave from there.😭 All are shocked. Sunaina stands at the stairs and listens. Shamit says that he is breaking the engagement! Dev asks him what happened- Shamit says what should not have happened, happened.
Sunaina cries hearing Shamit. Everyones gets upset. Karun and Rakshet are surprised.
