also, I think unlike OG, here they are focusing on equality and a concept that for any girl why should appu leave her house. Khadus ka ghar is her house as well. Which I agree. Here they might show she possesses and claim her rights on family and house and on him as a legally wedded wife. Netra has no say. She is no one to him just an assistant. If thee is a fight or disagreement or argument in the two family members no one leaves their own home. They stay and sort out. I think that’s the joint family unity message they are giving. I am okay with it.
Now about Khadus, this is how he is from the start. That is his personality to discuss or ask directly to his assistant. So he did ask her about if she said anything to appu. Not defending him or melted but that’s fact. He did not behave out of character. He did appreciate appu’s effort to save Vithu. Rather going dramatic they are harp doing it differently and I am okay with it. Now about working at picnic. I totally agree Arpi! DBS was absolutely true to his character today and honestly, most of it was very reasonable and if it was anyone other than HC as his colleague, his entire interaction would have been excusable. Like you said, he cannot figure out her cunning side yet and she knows too well how to play him (pro of working so closely with him for so many years maybe)
And yes, I too think that Appu not leaving K house is part of the whole joint family thing. If people started leaving cuz of fights, then that family would break in seconds so I guess they are trying to drive that point home.
Most of us are only disappointed because we kept comparing to what happened in OG and were expecting the same as her leaving the house and the letter and the manaoing drama....let's see what new things Vasaikar will throw at us instead!
