We don't get monologues so I'm only assuming right now.

For so long, he has been told what to do by his family and he agreed. It's classical conditioning. He did the same marrying akriti. But he is obsessed with GG. He badly needs counselling. I've seen people marrying cos it's their family's decision, they agreed cos their family agreed, loved another girl/man and then be miserable. And sadly, most of them don't walk out or own their mistakes, be true to themselves, they just stay miserable and depressed.

Still, anu not realising by marrying akriti, he had to let GG go is so dumb, pathetic and disgusting. He probably thought it would be easy to move on from GG. Which now he can't do, especially when she is in trouble.

The thing is that, the writers might flip anu again and make him run after akriti saying she is his responsibility which she is. 😆

I don't expect much from GG, she is dumb, lonely, emotionally vulnerable and was never mentally strong. So she might always let him boss her around and not be firmed. 🤔👎🏼

People like Anubhav exists. They stay miserable because they can't own their actions and make decisions.
