You are working on a new show called Radhaa Ki Betiyaan… kuchh kar dikhaengi on NDTV Imagine. How's it been so far? It is looking good. It is a strong script. There has been a lot of positive response from the audience. Also, the show is a weekly and so we get ample time to get all our scenes right. How's your character shaping up for the same? For a change, I'm not arrogant. I play the role of a doctor who is kind and cares for everyone. Every character in the serial is carved out very well. After Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, this is your second show with DJ, the production house. You can never go wrong with them. They are known to try out different things. Also, NDTV Imagine has a lot of intelligent people; it's fun to work with them. You are sporting a lean look and long hair for this serial. Are you undergoing an image makeover? Shilpa (Saklani, his wife) was bored of my short hair so I decided to grow it long. I'm also doing a lot of cardio as I had put on some weight. When do we see you paired with your wife? I have no clue. Even I am waiting for that day. If we get a good script, we will grab it tomorrow. You have never been part of Balaji Telefilms. Your comment. May be they don't want me there. May be if things work out in future you will see me working in one of their serials. What's happening with movies? Are you doing any?

I'm submerged in television right now. Honestly, I'm not keen on doing any movies. If all goes well, you might see me behind the camera in some time.

Nice talking point...when i opened the thread i thought i would get a longggggg article with apurva talking a lot 😆 but damn he doesn't say much 😆

n now he is loosing weight 😭 i don't mind..as long as he takes the same size as he was as dps.. 😳 but that hair 😭

Cause Balaji never knows what the audience wants....hahaha!!Seriously they Ekta has hardly ang good actors left with her...she might as well beg apu!! 😆

hey u see nothing about aa surprise me these days....cardio....a side role which is his dream role but am thankfull he did not demean kajjal like always i guess thanks apu for that.....but u need to rethink ur approach honey...... 😳

I had a good laugh though at his replies ! Can't believe this is my Apu's interview.

Looking out for ample of time for a "2 sec scene in 2 episodes??' that too after doing such superb jobs in 2 dailies 😆😆

Knew that long hair was bec his wife wanted it, even saw him acknowlege her efforts at the sumo wrestler style ponytail in SSS, but never knew it was because she was bored of his short hair.??? OMG hope she doesnt' get bored of him ever 😆😆😆

BTW didn't Balaji clearly say he was in talks for their new serial in place of Kasautii, which he denied doing ? Why does he feel that Balaji would never need a talented and good looking actor like him

Also in these 4 years, now that he mentions it, except for the cameo of SS in JJKN, why is no one offering AA-SS a role together ?? Such a cute, goodlooking and lovey dovey couple !! They were so good together in BBB and SSS !!
