Parents love 'em and cannot live without 'em but they sure know how to guilt-trip you into agreeing with them. Emotional blackmail yaar. I know Satya is right at his place to want to rid Kajal of any more suffering etc but Dev's treatment of her was justified. He could have done a lot worse, all he did was ignore her! She made his punishment far worse by denying that she knows him, being so rude and shoving her 'love' for Adi down his throat! Even if it she was not in her senses, he died inside after bearing so much pain.

He is being unfair to take this decision for her. He knows his Kajal better than anybody and if her Mem did not return in time, she would have felt cheated by her own Dad. Did he forget the days when he used to say how proud he would be to have a damad like Dev! However, Satya will not be able to see Kaju in tears so he may just give in. His heart is too big not to forgive Dev for his daughter's sake.
