NT and others are bawling; tears ran down NT's eyes when Karan and the men returned after Dev's crimation. The broken mother asks as to why her son was left alone and everyone returned. He might have been lost, and Karan being Dev's brother didn't do the right thing by taking Dev away from the mother's arms. She asks him to send her to dev as she had no wish left to lead a life. Karan soothes his dear mother saying that the entire house inclusding him needed NT's support,her unconditional love and if she is broken herself then who will manage the children .He hugs his mother tight while the other members joins in.
Kaajjal enters Singh mansion with vermilion on her forhead. The entire house is traumatized to see her and Ameesha thinks that she will have to endure another melodrama, let everything finish once and for all. Kaajjal slowly heads towards Dev's photo and throws away the garland. Karan shouts at her but the obsessed and obstinate kaajjal beg the members not to moan for someone who was still alive. Her soul, her heart said that dev was alive, he was still breathing calling for her and the members were fooling themselves by performing those rituals.
She goes to NT and says being a mother how could she belive in such a groundless story, her heart knew that dev would return then why was she taking part in Dev's crimation,why was the world sobbing for someone who was still alive. She shows the vermilion on her forehead, which she says to be the symbol of their love, she had put sindoor on her mang infront of God, and she was Dev's bride. She wasn't making fun of Dev nor his love but it was her strong belief. NT wipes off the vermilion saying that she was shattered the most because she had lost a part of her, her own son, it was indeed tough for her to face the reality but when Dev never returned to wipe her tears and lend her, his shoulders she had persuaded her bleeding heart that her son won't ever return. She begs kaajjal to come out of her dream land, to come into her senses but Kaajjal starts throwing away all the things that were placed around Dev's photo when satya comes and slaps her tight.
Kaajjal is standing like a stone,she was upset that even though she had screamed so much but poeple were not ready to listen to her,people were thinking that she was insane but her believe,he love said that dev would return,he was alive. Satya says he had full faith on kaajjal, he knows that God himself will be defeated against her strong belive and confidence. But she was not right when she put vermilion on her head, those wear part of the rituals and unless the bridegroom puts them on the bride, it was nothing but color. He asks Kaajjal to ask for forgiveness to NT and others. The way she behaved hurt them more. Kaajjal is satisied that her father was with her, she says the day Dev will return he will decorate her forehead with vermilion and she will wait for the day to come.
Bua says satya did the wrong thing by giving phony hopes to kaajjal but the teary satya says that his daughter was most important to him and today Kaajjal was at the verge of madness,if he didn't console her then she would have lost it completely and being her father he couldn't let that happen, saying this he breaks completely.
Kaajjal starts taking off those red bangles talking to dev's photo. She says those bangles will be back on her wrists the day he will come and put vermilion on her forehead, she will never believe that her dev was no more, he will return but she had to apologize to NT.
The next day Ameesha stops Kaajjal when she wanted to meet NT. She asks her to go away as the members were aleady sickened by her drama on Dev's crimation. Kaajjal corrects her saying that Dev was alive and none can prove him death. NT says that she won't put up with if kaajjal repeats the same story,she needs to face the reality but Kaajjal says that she was in her senses,the truth cannot be trapped under the lies, Dev would return. NT asks Kaajjal to bring back her son if she was so much sure about Dev not dead. Kaajjal asks for her blessings when a drop of tear falls on her hands from NT's eyes. Kaajjal saves the drop of tear saying that she would return soon with dev. NT and Ameesha are shocked by her confidence.
Someone calls Ameesha and she makes an excuse. She says over the phone that things were moving as they had wished but kaajjal was being silly, she was under deep shock that dev woul return. She says that let the world sob thinking that Dev's death was bound to happen but none would ever know that the death was pre planned. Dev died before time.
