Kaajjal along with Bua and Hottie enters the room where Dhruv and his family members were sitting. Everyone is spell bound by Kaajjal's beauty; she looked simple yet so elegant. Dadi says that they shouldn' waste any more time and should get on with the rasam. Satya stops the excited dadi saying that he had to discuss something very important. All present at the occasion stares curiously and Kaajjal stops him saying that she would say. Kaajjal slowly heads towards dadi and she keeps on thinking about all the phases of Dev, when he was so caring and loving towards her and how one day he ecame aggressive, how she made the biggest mistake by choosing him as her life partner. Kaajjal comes and bends down to take Dadi's blessings saying that it was their rule that before continuing the rasams the young ones take blessings of the elders therefore Satya stopped her. Everyone is happy that things went well, Dhruv and Kaajjal sit together performing all the rituals and Ameesha makes an excuse and calls Dev.
She says that everything went on well and Kaajjjal was very happy with Dhruv, they looked really cute as a pair and everyone was happy around. Dev quietly puts the phone down when his eyes meets Karan's. He puts a fake smile on his face saying that finally things were moving as he wanted to. He shall always pray that Dhruv and Kaajjal live happily ever after and he can die without any tension. Karan is still stunned by Dev's courage, he wasn't at all depressed, it was really shocking that there was not even a drop of tear in his eyes, as if they had dried away. Karan hugs Dev tight giving him this believe that he would save him. NT stands looking at her sons, she is broken as well, and being a mother she will soon see her son's dead body lieing frozen infront.
The guests leave one by one and dadi tells Bua that as roka was done so they will think about sagai very soon. Dhruv asks Kaajjal as to why she was so calm and quiet, before she made an excuse Dhruv reveals that from the day he met her he was madly in love with her. Her face kept on disturbing him, he had many sleepless nights and now he was just too excited. Kaajjal stood there listening to him with moist eyes and then she hides her sorrows with a faint smile on her face.
Satya asks Kaajjal if she took the decision under and pressure or not.Kaajjal says that she had tasted unhappiness by choosing the wrong path and now she was ready to compensate for her mistake. She ensures that she was happy but she couldn't escape Satya's eyes. He was her father and he knew the deepest feelings of his daughter, he knew the pain behind that smile, Kaajjal runs away before her tears rolled down. Bua asks satya to let Kaajjal lie as that would descrease her pain a bit.
The preparations of sagai are in full swing, the sarees and sweets are already decided as Bua believed that time was the medicine, it would change Kaajjal very soon. Dadi informs that she had fixed the date of sagai and everyone was satisfied. Dadi comes to Dev's house very irritated by their ignorance. She says that she was very disappointed that Dev, NT and the other members never took part in the marriage prepartions. She gives the responsibilty of marriage on Dev saying that if he came as a guest she will punish him, and chop off his legs. Dev ensures that he would make that the marraige goes well. Dadi blabbers about how lucky Dhruv was that he got a soulmate like Kaajjal and NT keeps on staring glances at Dev, who kept on hiding his feelings but hs mother knew that he was stabbed right into his heart. Chachi as well was upset and crestfallen, but they didn't allow dadi to know anything.
Nandini and others were discussing whether to attend the marraige or not ad she reveals that she has to power to be a part of that weding where Dev's love is getting marraied to someone else. She says that she will never be able to bear it. Dev over hears the ladies and asks them to attend the wedding for his satisfaction as dadi will be hurt. He says that he longed to be a part of that wedding but neither kaajjal nor Dhruv wanted to see his face therefore its better he is hidden. He concludes that he has one gift for Kaajjal which will be his last and final gift for her engagement.
