I think the Producers,writer and directors of Jyot love the presence of Pankaj in this show.No matther what the Viewers want .If they want drag the storyline up to here what was the need of Kabir to be present as Jyoti's second hubby?

If the Artificial insemination will be done and another baby born ,who can guaranty Roshani will be alive till the new baby come .And above all I think Kabir do the ultimatie sacrifice that a man can do .
