Part 1
Padma tells Jyoti that under all circumstances, she should take Kabir's side. Jyoti asks whether it means she should obey him, & Padma says not at all!!! 👏 She tells Jyoti that if she takes that decision, she'll ruin not only her own life, but Kabir's as well. Padma points out that Kabir is not a god, he's human, and he could be shattered by such a change. Jyoti tells her that it was Kabir who tried sending her to Pankaj. Padma says that being a man, he probably concealed his pain, but the fact is that no man can tolerate that his wife carry someone else's baby in her womb. Padma then firmly says that she won't let that happen - both Jyoti's & Kabir's futures will be destroyed.
Padma tells Jyoti that behind closed doors, she's telling her that w/o going to Pankaj, she'll have his baby, but this will create all sorts of gossips, and this won't be a test by fire, but plain suicide. She tells Jyoti that w/ great difficulty, she put her life together, and not to destroy it. She'd just have to leave Roshni to her fate. She tells Jyoti that it's up to HIM to assign life & death: HE gave Jyoti a kid, and HE'll give her another - from Kabir. She tells Jyoti that while her words may hurt, while Jyoti's thinking about her daughter, Padma's thinking about hers (actually, that logic doesn't hold - not too many grandmas will want to sacrifice their grandkids to save their kids, but the choice faced by Jyoti was to do something totally immoral)
Padma next goes to Pankaj's place, & confronts him, demanding how could he even think of having his baby in Jyoti's womb? She asks him that if Jyoti carries his baby, what will Kabir tell everyone? Everybody will accuse Kabir of being characterless. She reminds Pankaj that he was not there w/ Jyoti when Roshni was in her womb, but she's seen what people said about Jyoti. 👏 Today, Kabir can see Jyoti's pain, and is therefore permitting her to do this. But he's human, and won't be able to bear this. She begs Pankaj not to destroy Jyoti's life a 2nd time.
Pankaj tells her that since she's Jyoti's mom, she's thinking only of Jyoti. He asks her to put herself in his place. If she gives birth to his kid, people will talk, & then forget it and go silent, and Roshni will be saved. But if she doesn't, it's Roshni who'll go silent. He asks her to forgive him, but he's a father, and doesn't have any other way out.
Jyoti is in her room & opens Roshni's file, and Harmukhi arrives. Harmukhi thinks that something is wrong, and associated w/ Roshni, who's sleeping. Everyday, Kabir & Jyoti take Roshni somewhere - she wonders whether Pankaj was right in saying that Roshni has cancer? She gloats to herself that if that's the case, one thorn in her flesh will be gone, b'cos if Roshni dies, Jyoti too wouldn't survive (If only she knew what it'd take to save Roshni, she'd be actively advocating it, but being as evil, she's just gloating @ the prospects)
Jyoti leaves the room & Harmukhi opens the drawer & pulls out the file. She's about to open it, but hears the bahus and puts it back. Bhavri asks her what's she doing there, and CS asks her whether she needs her permission to move around the place (there is something called privacy, CS - how'd you like it if Jyoti or Reshmi start going over your personal stuff?) Asha covers it up by asking where's Jyoti? CS asks how would she know - she just came there to see the kid - how innocent & lovely it looks. The bahus look @ her suspiciously, & CS asks them to leave, as she wants to spend some time w/ Roshni.
(If only leukemia could be spread from Roshni to Harmukhi like a cold, or TB)Asha notices the drawer slightly open & hints it to Bhavri, who tells CS that they've screwed up the Diwali sweets, and want her to help fix it. Reshmi to asks her to support them. CS looks pissed, & Bhavri tries to flatter her by telling her that her sweets are unmatched (they've got the balls to ask CS to do any work - all this worthless specimen of human debris is good for is poke her extremely long nose into other people's business.) Asha intervenes & tells CS that since there are guests coming, and if the sweets are spoilt, so will their reputation. CS leaves the room w/ Bhavri.Asha then pulls out the file and is glad that they arrived just in time, or CS would have started another scene w/ Jyoti. Reshmi asks her how long can they hide this? (particularly when CS has guessed @ the truth)
Part 2
Reshmi enters her room w/ a glass of milk, & recalls Vikrant's last abuse. The new girl (didn't get her name) goes up to her & tells her not to cry, & wipes her tears. She takes the milk from Reshmi and tells her that she'll fix everything. Reshmi asks her what can she do, and she tells her that she'll fix everything, and leaves w/ the milk.
She then goes to Vikrant's room & offers him the milk, and he tells her that he doesn't drink milk, since it's poisoned. She smiles, and takes a sip, & points out to him that he's mistaken, b'cos had it been, she'd have died. Vikrant takes the glass, rotates it & sips the part she sipped 🤢 (Oh, so torturing Reshmi means cheating on her? How original!) Vikrant then gives her another sip, & then gulps down the milk. The 2 of them hug & start making out.
Vikrant then pulls out his gift for her which was in the jewelry box in the cupboard that Reshmi has spotted the other day, and gives it to the new girl, and puts it on her.
Jyoti is in her room, thinking over what Padma told her about how Kabir ignored her past & accepted her w/o any questions. She then imagines an argument b/w Pankaj & Padma, where Padma accuses him of trying to destroy 2 other lives in order to save his baby's. Pankaj points out it's Jyoti's baby as well, and that any animal will always protect its kids, but Padma points out any human would always protect his/her family, which Pankaj didn't do, and now he's ready to destroy Kabir's. Padma tells Pankaj that as long as she's alive, she won't let Jyoti take such a destructive step - Pankaj can only do that after Padma's death. Jyoti is torn by this imaginary argument, but gather's herself.
Jyoti picks up the phone, calls Kabir & tells him that she's made her decision.
Part 3
Kabir arrives @ a place, where Pankaj is also waiting. He tells Pankaj that Jyoti called him there, since she's made a decision. Pankaj asks Kabir if he knows what decision Jyoti has taken, and he denies it. Pankaj says that knowing Jyoti like he does, she'd have taken the right decision, whatever it was for all 3 of them.
Pankaj assures Kabir that he doesn't want to steal Jyoti from him, and just wants to save his daughter, and ensure that wherever she lives, she lives. Kabir tells him that that's what he wanted, and he was even prepared to send Jyoti to him, so he's amazed that Pankaj could think that of him. Pankaj apologizes, but says he's a father, and has a strange fear inside him. He tells Kabir that Kabir is a very selfless person, but perhaps, once he has a kid of his own, he might understand (For that, Pankaj, Kabir's wife needs to be free to have his baby, not yours!!! 😡) Kabir tells him that he'd probably have done what Pankaj did had he been in his place. He however expects that Jyoti will decide in favor of her daughter 🤢
Finally, Jyoti arrives. She tells them she's made her decision. Maybe both of them will disagree w/ it, but that'll remain her decision. Pankaj tells her that he's already told Kabir that whatever decision Jyoti takes will be the right one for them. Jyoti then folds her hands and apologizes to Kabir, telling him that mom has lost, and wife has won. Kabir looks @ her shocked. Jyoti tells him that to save one life, she can't ruin several others. She will not carry Pankaj's baby in her womb 👏 She will not go for an artificial insemination 👏

Finally, it's over!!! The stupid choices present b4 Jyoti are all dispatched one after another. Only one remaining is surrogacy, & here, the question is will Jyoti be unable to procreate for a good while if her eggs are removed and implanted in another woman? Aside from that, this idiotic chapter is over. And hurray for Padma for showing Jyoti the right path. I just hope Jyoti doesn't now start wallowing in her grief.
Ironically, had Harmukhi found out Roshni's secret, she would have taken Kabir's side on this, and been in a pretty good position, like Pankaj. Instead, she's secretly rooting for Roshni to die. But had she encouraged Jyoti to follow Kabir's 'wish' & leave, she'd have gotten rid of her. Instead, she just ended up looking like a b🤬
The new girl looks interesting, but it would be even more interesting once Jyoti or others told her about Vikrant & how he uses women. Would she mind being knocked up by Vikrant in order to get rid of Reshmi & Jeet? How would she know that Vikrant wants her, and is not just using her to get rid of Reshmi?
