that's what makes his character sooo good. he is able to use his other senses and because he's sensitive to people's emotions, he can "see" what's going on and pick up things that other ppl just look past.

i know he mentioned in an interview that before starting shooting, sawar visited blind people and saw how they lived. the show and he has grown respect for them. i don't think they would do injustice to that respect by making him "fake being blind." because ultimately the message that would send is that having eyesight is THE thing that is necessary, that you cannot have a good ideal person without eyesight. Which is total bs.

and such a move would mean that all this dialogues before were just empty and spurious.

nope, if you guys are hoping for it? then i feel sorry. i don't hope for it at all. i want a jyoti-sachin jodi just the way it is. and it can still be beautiful without sachin's eyesight.
