Jyoti asks Dadi to elaborate a bit more on what had happened, and Dadi tells her that some goons had attempted to assault her, but she was fine now. Jyoti then asked what was the need to send Sudha at that hour, and let's go of the phone. Dadi's wondering what's happening, and then notices the door open (which Devika didn't close). She then goes and closes it.
Pankaj asks Jyoti what's wrong w/ Sudha, and then decides that they need to return right away and see her. Jyoti protests about this, and tells him that even though she longs to see Sudha, she doesn't have the heart to return to that house, but Pankaj points out that regardless of whatever suffering she may have been put through, Sudha never did anything to hurt Jyoti, so why should she be punished? He also told her that they could always come back whenever things all settled down.
In Udaipur, Devika is waiting at a restaurant, and tells the waiter that she's not ready to order until she is joined, and sits there sulking. Uday then comes to the entrance, sees her from a distance, prays that all will be well and enters. Devika asks him whether he knows what the date is, and he says, 'I know, but something came up last night, and since you never gave me any phone#, I couldn't call you to cancel. Jyoti's sister Sudha was in trouble, and I had to help her.' Devika is angry, and tells him that all he talks about is Sudha, đ and asks him if he wasn't sure that it was Devika? Uday laughed and said, 'I know Devika, and no way could it have been you'. He then told her that Sudha - my bhabi's sister, who I told you about - was attacked by some goons and I happened to be there, and therefore went and saved her. Devika told him that she was impressed, but added that Sudha needed to stand up for herself and defend herself - what if Uday didn't happen to be there? đ (I guess Uday was too scared to tell her that it was tough for her to defend herself when it was 4 against 1, and that even Uday had a tough time.) Uday then told him that he had a gift for her, and Devika, still jealous, asks him - are you sure it's not for Sudha? Uday then takes out of the jewellery box a diamond chain bracelet, and seeing it, Devika's face lights up. She suddenly very gracefully accepts it, and tells him that all is forgiven. (Gee, I don't like this side of Devika. Had she not been Sudha, she'd be a complete xerox of choti-ma. She ought to be more compassionate about Sudha đ¤)
Next scene is Jyoti and Pankaj in a car in Udaipur, and Pankaj asks Jyoti to give the driver her address. Jyoti asks why, and Pankaj says that we are going to see Sudha first before we get home. In KK's house, Padma does the puja and goes to the next room, and Dadi grabs hold of her and swings her around. KK rolls in, and Dadi grabs him, and swings him around as well. KK asks her what's she so ecstatic about, and Dadi tells him that she received a call from Jyoti last night. He asks her why she didn't wake him, but just then, the bell rings.
Padma goes and opens the door, and Pankaj and Jyoti are standing there, Jyoti w/ her back facing the door. She then turns around and looks at Padma, and recalls the last time Padma shouted that had the house been in Jyoti's name, she'd have expelled everybody one by one (the incident that caused Jyoti to leave, and reluctant to ever return). Pankaj then asks Jyoti who's in front of them, and she says Ma (I wish she had introduced her as masi, or Padma). Pankaj then asks Jyoti to help him get her blessings, and so Jyoti helps him w/ it.
Dadi and KK then ask who's at the door, and Padma stammers 'Jyoti'. Dadi is very excited and runs to the door and hugs Jyoti. KK gives Padma a cold stare, and Padma gets the message and leaves the room. đđđ Jyoti is lost in memories of how people there seemed to love her when she'd get things for them, and Dadi then asks her what's she so lost in. Jyoti then introduces Pankaj to Dadi, and they both touch her ankles, and she blesses them. Jyoti then takes Pankaj to KK and they do the same, and he blesses them as well. Jyoti then asks them how is Sudha, and KK tells her to go see her in her room.
In Sudha's room, Sudha is lying down, staring at the ceiling like a zombie, as Jyoti & Pankaj walk in. Jyoti looks at her for a minute, worried at what she is going through. Jyoti then calls out 'Sudha', and Sudha looks and sees Jyoti & Pankaj. She then gets emotional, and hugs Jyoti. That's where the episode ends.
Precap: Dadi tells Pankaj something, and Pankaj tells her that she should feel free to ask her now itself. Dadi then tells him that she'll send Deepu off for this. Jyoti interrupts and tells Dadi that it won't be necessary.
Pretty good episode. I somehow wasn't too thrilled this time w/ Devika, but aside from that, the only thing I wished Jyoti would have done would have been to snub Padma completely.
