THE SAAT PHERES--Circumambulation WHY?

How many times Prithvi said he also said the same today with Meera that they never did the circumambulations(pheres).
First time he told it to Ramdhari.
If he's not remembering taking it, was it so necessary to take it again in the reverse way??
I'm myself don't agree with that part...

I guess the purpose of that was to symbolically burn his past to give way to a new Prithvi... One key fact I noticed as he did the ulta pheras was he promised never to follow the true meanings of the 7 pheras that no one noticed he has been doing all along even without originally going around the fire officially. I've always maintained that for him, miu is important as a wife, not yet a love.

instead he could have gone & wiped of the sindoor from meera's forehead, which he had put when they got into this relation.

Wiping the sindoor from a girl's forehead is done when the husband dies, it would have been too inhuman & crude to show Prithvi doing that to Meera & he's not dying.
