Hi girls - sorry I havent been able to write my daily posts but have been really busy at home and work😕
I have finally watched all of this week's episodes with subtitles and there are few things I have notices in the characters:
Akash - he is in love with Meera but he love is a passive kind of love. It took him 7 years to get Meera to agree to get married. Akash himself has always had this doubt that although Meera loves him - she loves him like a friend and that she is not in love with him nor never has been. If Akash was sure in Meera's love he would never have had asked her to confirm the love. I feel Akash himself has realized that he has lost Meera for good and the only reason he is decided to stay back in the village is for pride's sake. It wasn't until Prithvi challenged Akash about the strength of his love that Akash made the decision to "fight" for his love Meera.
Sudha - she herself is losing her daughter by constantly trying not to accept Meera's feelings regarding Prithvi and her marriage. The more Sudha is pushing Meera the more Meera is fighting to make her marriage work. Sudha needs to take a step back and let Meera, Prithvi and Akash handle the situation in a way where there are minimum damage done.
Ramdhari - this wonderful man has seen the world and has by experienced advised Meera and Prithvi how to solve their differences. He has never ordered them to do anything nor has he ever used emotional blackmail to try and get them to do what he wants. He simply tells them that the other person is a good person and just take the time to get to know one another before splitting up.
Meera - she has started to slowly realize that she has never been in love with Akash but only loved him as a friend. Meera is grateful for all the things Akash did to her and her mother and that is why she might have agreed to marry Akash in gratitute. With Prithvi she is experiencing the aggressive kind of love where the earth shakes under her, sparks flies and where Prithvi is becoming her every breath she takes. Meera is starting to realize that loving someone and being in love is two different things. She is now trying to get Prithvi to acknowledge the fact that they can fight for the marriage.
Prithvi - this man thinks that he doesn't care about Meera leaving but he sure does behave like a jealous and possessive and whenever Meera talks to Akash. Prithvi is fighting so hard to pretend to dislike Meera and he is losing that fight rapidly. Prithvi first removed the first obstacle in Meera's way to receive happiness - that person is Ramdhari. Then he took the Rudraksha mala he gave Meera and broke it as well - symbolizing the fact that she is now also not bound by the marriage. Prithvi is doing everything he can to give Meera a way out but also at the same time making sure if she stays back it is only for him and him only. Prithvi is the kind of person who thinks he doesn't deserve to be loved and that is the reason he pushed everyone away who is trying to love him. Even with Sunehri - if Prithvi had said yes to her in the past Sunehri would have loved him to the death. It is people like him who deserves love and it is people like him who will ultimately also fall the hardest and receive the love back equally.
