Something like this was the common design across the globe for centuries (not just Mughalian times). If a shaving blade wasn't around, it's said men used to use their own daggers too. Worked well enough.

Rich men might've had their own personal barbers. And of course, there's the possibility of men visiting those famous Bollywood-styled barbers sitting under a tree for a cut and a shave... but I don't think that was the norm across all households - at least not until the recent past.

Men would've had to perfect some tool or the other for this, right from the stone age era... or they would've all been tripping on their own beards AND each other's beards, by the time they were 25😆

There were 2 old friends (could be sisters too) walking on the pavement. Both must've been at least 75.

One of them was about to trip and fall. The other one caught her from behind. And held her tightly for a good 5 minutes to make sure she got back her balance. Then, they both hugged in relief.

What a sweet sight it was to watch.
