As you said Jalal shone today. This situation had the potential to snowball to a major misunderstanding but the calm and logical way in which he weighed the evidence was superbly portrayed by Rajat. Jalal is shattered at what has happened, his face shows his despair but all the rantings of Ruqs will not force him to take wrong decision. He has begun to trust Jodha, a time will come when no evidence will be needed, the trust will be implicit.

Look at the distraught state of Jodha. This is what happens when a person in selfish infatuation ignores responsibilities. Shivani has doomed her family to eternal ridicule.
