I am surprised that Salima has da unshakable belief on jo but how come Hamida believes maham's words nd others' rumours nd did believe in jo, whom she considers as her own daughter😕

First i liked Jodha words she want to talk hubby, not a King, because matter is couple related so she needed to talk this time hubby, Who seeing her wife character suspecting way.or jodha asking jalal now what she have to do.

Maham 😈 being evil by asking Resham to spread word that Jodha is carrying someone else baby😡. Hoshiyar too joins in spreading the word and soon the whole harem is talking when Moti comes across and is told about it. Moti is hurt and scolds the begums.

Jodha senses Moti is disturbed and asks her but she avoids. Maham then comes to Jodha and pretends to be her well wisher but cleverly tells her that word is she is carrying someone else child. Thus Maham hurts Jodha and goes. Jodha is completely numb. Moti tells Jodha that Maham wasnt a well wisher but instigator and highly possible that she is the one to spread all this.

The soul talk between Jodha and Jalal tells us the turmoil both of them were undergoing and how everything seemed to be dark and lost.

Jodha then goes to Jalal ( looking nice with his hair being blown away)is standing near the tarazu . Jodha musters all courage and asks Jalal that she has come to him for seeking justice from him as a husband and not as shehenshah. She tells him that one side of the balance is his justice and another her innocence. As his wife who is innocent she seeks justice . The relationship between husband and wife has trust but that itself has broken down so the symbol of their relationship the ring, she is returning as it no longer holds value. Jodha keeps the ring on one of the scales leaves. Jalal picks up the ring and thinks.

Later in the DEK, Jalal is holding the ring and in deep thoughts, whereas Atga and all are giving him news of winning war and Abul Mali running away etc. Jalal then calls for Salima to meet him. This shows Jalal has some faith in Jodha and wants to know the real truth.

Salima is having similar symptoms like Jodha since she tasted the milk but she thinks its because of spicy food.

GB tells Hamida about the Jodha baby issue and Hamida is angry and says all this should be stopped. Maham comes there to add fuel to fire and tells Hamida how during Amer trip the bandis gossiped and how she happened to over hear the conversation between JoJa in their hojra( LIAR Maham🤢) that its not shehehshah child. Hamida is shocked and angry.

Salima meets Jalal who tells her his dilemma about Jodha and baby. Salima concludes that she believes Jalal that he is telling the truth and did not touch Jodha and also she stands by Jodha's morals hence both are right. Jalal is puzzled as to how can both be right when Salima explains about mistake committed by Hakima during pregnancy of Rahim's birth mother. Hence its possible the truth is something different altogether. Jalal sees hope and decides to act. He tells Salima to come with him. ( Salima is sensible and gives sound advice unlike bachpan ki dost😆😆)

Hamida and gang go to meet Jodha and in full on anger she tells Jodha that she considered as her as daughter, loved and cared for her, shared her secrets with her and in return she did such a low deed. She asks Jodha who is the father of the baby she is carrying and this shocks and hurts Jodha to the core.

Hamida is like others too shocked to believe this but there is no other ans with her. If indeed Jodha is pregnant and Jalal did not touch her then someone else did. The idea that Hakima is wrong does not hit them as they are not exploring it. Salima had encountered it before hence she hints at the possibility. In short it all bogs down to TRUST.

So, another good episode. The main scenes according to me-

1 The devastation on Jodha's face when the Bond Villain Maham tells her the ugly rumor. That was an interesting scene, Ashwini as usual in top form as the person trying to appear decent when everyone knows she is not.

Paridhi was superb as the shocked wife. The vacant look on her face even after Maham left was telling.

2 The Jodha Jalal scene was good. Jodha pleading with her husband that she was virtuous and had done no bad deed. The scene was moving and had a faraway look, with Jalal's hair blowing in the strong wind, as if nature too was sitting in judgement.

One could almost see the effect of her words on him. Both Rajat and Paridhi were splendid in this scene.

3 Jodha's words had the desired effect, Jalal began to believe, all this while in DEK he thought with Jodha's ring in hand, oblivious to all. The news of victory in Kabul barely registered, so engrossed was he in thought. Then he did a sensible decision, he called on Salima.

The decision to involve Salima was inspired, she has always been a wise woman. She told him the story of how a Hakim can be wrong.

That was the stimulus he needed, once the infallibility of the Hakim was destroyed in his mind, he knew exactly what to do. From now on it will be Jalal all the way with Salima in support.

Tomorrow is going to be good, Jodha's hate borne with chivalrous dignity by Jalal and his own investigations.

As for Hamida, I will be honest I have never liked her. She is a fair weather friend, disappears at the first sign of trouble and takes the easy way out in difficult situations.

Bond villian Maham,😆, good term to describe her. What a mean opportunist she is. I agree with all your points here.
The way Mariam Makani, the matriarch of the Sultanate has been portrayed is pathetic. We saw a gracious, sharp thinking Hamida Begum during the religion conversion track. All of a sudden, without using her powers of reasoning, we saw her pouncing on Jodha and saying her filmy dialogue, 'mat kaho mujhe ammijaan'.😲 The creatives have been consistently inconsistent while portraying her character that conveniently blows hot and cold.
