Jodha Akbar 21st April 2015..

Another good episode. Ruqs' plan backfires. Salim gives a shock to Ruqs. :-P

1.
Jodha goes to meet HB.
SB and GB present.

Jodha tries to talk to HB but HB refuses outrightly.
Sb asks Jodha what happened, Jodha tells her.
She extracts promise that SB will not tell Jalal about this.

2.
Jalal Jodha

Jodha tries to hide the matter from Jalal and extracts all sorts of promises from him, not to ask her, but Jalal also did not leave before knowing the matter.
Jodha tells him entire truth. Jalal gets shocked knowing about his Ammi Jaan.
They embrace.

3.
HB and GB

HB says she will never forgive Jodha.
GB also agrees with HB but says what if Jalal comes to know of this.
HB says i dont fear him, i am MM, if he is Shahenshah.

4.
TM and Birbal

TM says had Jodha converted, this would have been defeat of Shahenshah.
BB says u r ryt but, if wud not be nice if the news of rift between MM and MUZ reaches in harem..

5.
Ruqs and Hoshiyar

Hoshiyar informs about the sullen relations of HB and Jodha.
Ruqs says it is good that Jodha did not convert.
Now Salim will get more angry with Jodha.
She also plans to spread the news in the palace.
She also rewards Hoshiyar, she was looking VERY HAPPY..

6.
Harem
As expected, the news of rift between HB and Jodha reach harem..

7.

Epic .!!!.
Salim respects his mother, finally.!!!!

Salim comes to meet Jodha.
She was about to start her prayer with tear filled eyes.
Like Jalal, Salim takes off his slippers.
She says to Salim - She is sorry, as she could not make do sufficient for him and due to her Salim is suffering.
Salim says - Yes i am khaafa with you. But , because, you thought to change your religion. I am happy that you did not change your religion. You only taught me that no one should be forced to change religion and remain secular. I am sorry i said those words to you in anger. Let me pray with you, i have not prayed with you for many days. Today i want to pray with you. They both pray together with teary eyes.

Guys, this was a good scene today. Watch this one for sure..!

Ruqs comes from behind and gets an electric shock seeing both Jodha and Salim praying together. I was ROLFing seeing this. :-P Actually i was irritated seeing her smirks in previous scene, hence it was a relief for me now.

8.
As usual, Ruqs goes to her hojra and starts shouting on Hoshiyar.
In order to control her anger, she takes something to eat, and cools down.!
She decides to meet Salim again. :-P

9.

Jodha in kitchen. She is making something for HB.
Jalal comes from behind and asks all the cooks to leave. :-P
Light banter. She tells Jalal that she is making this for HB so that she again gets back to normal.

Precap:

HB refuses to eat the food brought by Jodha and asks her to stop trying talking to her.

Bottomline:

It was a good episode. Esp. the scene of Salim and Jodha. Ruqs plan has backfired. The new target for sometime seems to be HB. :-P

Ruqs will plan to team with HB perhaps. :-P
Good thing is that, Jalal is with Jodha and is aware of the truth.

New Promo:
Jalal says -> "Talaq Talaq Talaq..And says, since you changed your religion, hence i give divorce to you."
This may be a plan of Jalal or dream of someone..

Jodha Akbar is now of 30 minutes again, starting 8:00 PM.
Those 40 minute episodes was a temporary arrangement, probably due to one of the shows going off air. Bandhan has ended perhaps. I checked the TV guide.

Now, "Hello Pratibha" is going to get extra airing time, from 7:15 to 8:00 PM , this week.

Also, now JA comes at its old repeat timing of 1:00 PM in the afternoon.

Thanks for the nice update😊.

It was a very nice episode mainly because of 3 things:

Jalal knows about Jodha's reason for agreeing to convert to Islam in the heat of the moment.😊
Salim doing aarti with Jodha. This brought so much of positivity in the episode😊
Ruks haalat when she saw Salim & Jodha praying together👏

Jodha and Jalal's light banter in the kitchen was very cute.

All in all a very nice and clean episode.😊

I don't want to comment on the new promo as we all know talaq can never happen

im soo happy jodha didnt hide any thing from jalal

jo tha sab bata diya aur thank god Jalal ne Jodha ko MU nahi kiya

aur HK aur GB uff dono kitne irritated hogaye hai

GB tho aaj sirf fuel dal rahe thi fire mein ruks ke fufi jo hai

aur last scene was soo cute JOJA Mk ke liye kheer bana rahe thi that scene was soo cute

ye ruks har baat pe cheek na chilna hota hai phele ye scary tha ab boring hoga hai kaise cheelate hai

Ur 7th point did made the epi special for me 😉 Just i would have wished that scene to progress has such , without the entry of ruqu 😡 I dont know y cvs r hell bent on spoiling a gud scene ( that they rarely give ) with unwanted one's presence !!! Be it this one or many other good scenes of Jo n Ja where she crept in like a lizard spoiling everyone's mood 😡

And again , the scene of Jalal n jodha was a nice one where Rajat spoke with his expressions and supported his wife again 👏 Thank god koi MU nahi hua 😊 But then , how come new promo will get materialize in between And u said it right , this time i think its turn of HB to get NRed version 😕

Last scene of JO-JA was again a good scene 😆 Jalal's stance of talking about manickpur track and his cute gesture of eating those dry fruits while Jo was cooking , was so so cute Loved that particular scene for Parijat's casual hubby wife expressions 😆

Thankew Abhay da fa d update!!! Ah! A great relief watching ruku today :-P omg! I was also dancing in joy and my mum came from her office and saw me dancing! She said if I had gone mad!!Why was I dancing? As always I was having my cold drink and split it out on my dress and tada!my dress is 🤣 whatever!! Aww.. I dnt knw if I will be able to praise Salim in future bt I loved him today! And Akdha scene! Dil garden garden ho gaya!!! Aww.. They are the best couple!!! They understand each other so much! I still wonder how jodha used to hate Jalal earlier!!!! HB.. Urgh! Why doesn't she understand Jodha's point? Todarmal is absolutely right! And yeh GB bada chamcha type! Hamesha wrong side lete hain! Pehle ruku ki.. Aur abb..hmh!! Totally a dhamakedar episode! And precap :O waiting fa next day

A lovely episode! It had the now mandatory JJ scenes and a SPECIAL scene of Salim with Jodha - very special for many reasons 😊

The Best Scene of the Track so Far

This is about the conversion track.

So far, we saw Salim initially saying his mother should not change her faith. Then he went back on his word and blamed her for not loving him enough because she had not converted and was thus an impediment in his future path.

In any case, the Salim-Jodha relationship is the pits - it has never had the warmth, sweetness and belongingness of a mother-son bond.

Which is why I will always remember the mother-son scene shown today forever. The CVs can go back to the irritating Salim tomorrow. I am just grateful to them for showing a glimpse of how the real Salim may have been, today.

Jodha is shocked when Salim enters the room. She is sure that he is angry and hurt that she did not convert and she is emotionally not equipped to deal with his censure at the moment, wrecked as she is by Hamida's estrangement.

She asks him outright about this. So far, the scene was typical. I had no great expectations from it. Tille the follow-up took my breath away!

Salim sat down beside her and bowed to Kanha. He lit a lamp. And turning to his mother (how I wish he had called her ammijaan at least today) he told her that he WAS angry with her - not because she had not converetd but because she had ENTERTAINED the thought of converting in the first place.

Here his words implied of an abiding relationship between the 2 since childhood, though we have not been shown this.

He spoke of her teaching him the value of ideals and principles in one's life, of the need to respect ALL religions. He was relieved that she had not actually converted because then all that she had taught him would have become meaningless. He spoke of how she had taught him never to bow down to pressure or break under it. He was GLAD his mother hadn't cracked under pressure because he would not have been able to wash away his guilt then that HE was responsible for his mother renouncing her principles and submitting to pressure.

He assured her that he had NEVER wanted her to change her faith, that what he had said about this had been said in anger and was not to be taken seriously.

There was another surprise hidden here.

So far, we have been left with the feeling that Salim did not understand his father. But surprisingly he did! For he said clearly that he was upset with his father that he had made Murad the Shah-i-Shah temporarily.

The last line sealed the relationship for me in a beautiful envelop. If she had really converted, then, he said, the person who would have been most hurt would have been he himself.

Jodha's eyes were brimming with tears of love and relief as she heard and savored these words from the child she loved deeply. My eyes overflowed too - as I registered a truth of life.

Sometimes our children don't seem to listen to us as we try to reason with them and they seem to shun the values we try hard to teach them. Yet, when the time comes to apply those values practically, they are ready for it. You are left wondering, did my child really pick those values after all?

Salim is a rebel without pause. He is just too irreverent towards his parents. But after watching today's episode, there is NO doubt whatsoever in my mind that he does love his mother a lot. Even his father too, but, most definitely, his mother.

And the way he showed this love for her and her values was simply heartwarming. 👏

Ruq's appearance in between briefly spoiled the scene that I was otherwise cherishing. Yet it was good in a way. She should learn that she can never become Salim's mother - no person can take the place of the natural mother in a child's life.

I felt a great sense of relief wash over me, as Salim earnestly asked his mother if he could do Kanha's arti along with her. The unbridled joy that shone on Jodha's face was a testament to her unflinching love for her son.

The "Confrontation"

The precap scene showed the possibility of a MU between JJ. Today, however, the scene played out differently.

Jalal did confront Jodha. And to her credit, she did not hedge around. She answered his questions fair and square, including mentioning that Hamida had forced her to convert.

This is the kind of honesty that I prize the most in any relationship, esp marriage. I really feel half the problems in this world would be over if people only spoke plainly and honestly with each other.

Yesterday, Jodha showed loyalty to Jalal, commitment to his ideals, respect for his word, and trust in his abilities to deal with any situation. Today, knowing that he would be angry and hurt with her for trying to go against his word, she showed immense respect for him by trusting him with the whole truth.

He was doubtless upset with her and his mother. But he will also trust her that much more in future, knowing as he does that she will never hide anything from him.

He is horrified that his mother could do such a thing, knowing his views, as she did. But Jodha prevents him from confronting his mother. She is confident that she can rebuild bridges with her mother-in-law on her own.

It was heartening to see her confidence today, as also her respect for her mother-in-law that prevented her from enjoying a possible confrontation between mother and son. Jodha is truly such a contrast to Ruq!

No wonder Jalal ended the convo with the last words, that he had quite a lot to learn from her! 😊

Pathetic Creatures

Ruq and Hamida have become really pathetic.

Hamida is being childish in her sullen behavior with Jodha. Instead of accepting the truth and understanding it, she is living in an ivory tower.

Ruq who instantly pounces on the differences between Jodha and Hamida is another pathetic person in the show. She has nothing to do except plot Jodha's downfall.

Today she spread the word around the harem that MM was upset with Jodha.

It was a great slap on her face moment today when Salim comforted his mother.

Let's see what happens next as Hamida and Ruq try to pressure Jodha in their own ways.

Thanks Abhay..Loved your @blue...It was so pleasing to watch JO Salim scene.

Coming to the episode, I too loved it for the following.

1. Jodha talks with Jalal and clears out the issue between HB and her. As long as JJ, are together I can handle the rest.
2. Salim Jodha Scene was a treat to watch. I loved it. Ruks watching this, fuming with frustration. No matter what Ruks, u should know goodness always triumphs evil. God may keep on testing his believers, but this is done to strengthen those who have faith in him and in the end victory is theirs.
3. Last JJ scene where Jalal helping out Jo was so cute.
