Sh Birbal and Rahim are in the market incognito and they are trying to find the persons who attacked Salim and SH asks them to keep their eyes and ears open. Just then one Rajvanshi comes to a tailors shop and scolds him for stitching his dress in a wrong way both argue and the Mughal tailor says he makes dresses for both Mughals and Rajvanshis just a few days back he stitched 20-30 pairs of Rajvanshi dresses for some Mughals who were very happy and gave him more money then he asked)They then go to the tailor to find out about the persons who get the dresses stitched and he tells them the name Altaf. SH says he wants to know more but the tailor is unable to and he sends them off telling them off for wasting his time.SH says that no new people have come here nor left . All three think something is fishy and Birbal says entire dal is black(a hindi proverb everything is fishy. They plan to find the Mughals who got the dresses stitched as Salim was attacked by Rajvanshis. They suspect some conspiracy and when Birbal tells SH that he will know where such people will be found.
All three go to a inn where men are drinking. All three sit and observe and some men start talking and brag about the last week incident and say they got lot of money for the work and SH Rahim find the men who attacked Salim there. Rahim recognizes and tells SH. SH goes to Altaf Khan and all three go and catch hold of them and SH reveals himself and threatens them for attacking the prince. They reveal the plan and tell them they worked for some person in Agra. Sh asks them to take them to that person.
Salim is unable to sleep and tossing and turning. Jo observes him and says I know you are unable to sleep let me tell you a story.He refuses .She is tearful and asks him to forgive her but he is adamant and when she sits near him tearful saying she wants to tell him a story.He says he will tell her one and says once upon a time there was a boy who loved his parents very much and could not stay without them but they punished him for a small mistake and never came to meet him even though he waited for them and Jo interrupts him saying his father and mother loved him a lot and this was a lesson but Salim does not listen to his crying mother and turns the other side and sleeps.
Ruq is in the chess room thinking she know how to play chess well and on the board are Salima MS Rahim Salim and Jo and one by one she removes everyone saying whoever where acting like Salim's shield I have removed all of them and then calls Salim to her and tells Jo what is her power without her son who is now with her. She will play such a move that no one saw it or played before. It is Ruq's thoughts. She sasy I won the biggest play in life with a smile
SH meanwhile takes Altaf who takes him to SD's father who has conspired against SH and Salim and when SH threatens a shocked Maulvi Rahim stops as he tries to run away and does not pardon him a traitor and asks who helped him as he can't do this without help from someone in the palace. He tells in mute and Sh eyes widen in shock and says .
SH comes and asks where is Ruq the bandhi tells him she is listening to music in her room he goes there and shouts to stop and goes to her room saying I know who conspired against my child and who conspired against my faithful men and made them fall in my eyes and all these years I was keeping a snake on my side . Ruq is scared Resham is also there. SH removes his sword to attack and Ruqs moves to a side and it is Resham Khan who conspired against MS and when SH says he wont kill a KS as it will be shameful but will give her punishment . Resham Khan tells him she was not faithful to him but MA and AK and when he killed AK and punished MA despite her saving him so many times. She was not at all repentant but felt she has taken revenge for MA and AK death . Jo and HB also come and listen to this tirade with anger and shock. Ruq is happy to escape for this time
PRECAP SH tells Jo that no one can take her audha from her but he was helpless at that time and could not tell her anything but now she should accept back her MUZ title. Ruq is looking.
