@raksha, chilly war was no doubt a big reason, but another reason is also tht people wished tht jalal will apply sum "teda" plans as it was promised by the zee man. so evryone from monday-friday came back & watched. & no CVs r not capable of showing wars. real wars needs lots of investments. yes chilli war was well directed but its easy to show a chilly war than a real war & thts why it looked better than than so-called wars of JA & unfortunately thts there rajat's skills get wasted.

@ varsha, woman power is not the only reason. if thts the case shows like EHT or jhansi ki rani would have been at no.1. shows need woman power clubbed with drama to reach at the top 5. but still if women power is shown along with strong jalal, TRPs will not effect. people loved the woman power, all of us did. but did anyone of them demanded for a weak jalal??? no. so its a wrong conception of EK tht TRPs r bcoz of a weak male lead. so both can be shown equal along with woman power & it wont effect the TRPs.
