A very interesting and detailed account of the complicated relationships between all these characters- Babur's wives and children, Humayun's wives - and all the interlinking bonds of blood, often weakened by greed and ambition.

You have put together a lot of detailed information that I never knew. I was particularly struck by the parts in blue.

One small bit of advice: even with all your explanations, the inter-relationships are still a bit confusing. Maybe you could draw a chart, a family tree for the Mughal imperial family, beginning with Shahenshah Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur right at the top, and attach it here. I am going to try and do some such thing for my own information.

It appears a pity that Hindal Mirza did not succeed Babur instead of the weak and incapable Humayun, but then again, how would we then have had Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar? So perhaps it was all for the best after all!

none of humayuu brother was intended to help him in these hard times

kamran mirza was most cunning, greedy .

askari had a weak personality ...he was totally in influence of his elder brother kamran.

both of them think that now humayu lost hindustan he must be wanted to get back babar initial terotary from them.

Hindal mirza was the favorite of his father ...most handsome, courageous wise and warrior among his brothers but right now he believed that humayu lost his empire due to his over superstious nature. he was not greedy of power but under certain circumstaces he was bound to think tht humayu is not capable to take care of such huge reponsibility ...according to him his edler brother was not worthy king. He seems to have been a good judge of character!😉

and lastly ... humuyu the eldest brother, who was very superstious ... dont take any step without zodiac signals...very kind heartened and forgiving which is usually not wise for king ... not much courageous and not a goood administrator and nor a great warrior off course ... but he was a good man for sure .. For an emperor, it is no use being good if you are not strong and capable! But Jalal obviously loved his father a lot.

SHE IS HUMAYU STEP MOM AND BABAR SECOND CHIEF WIFE AFTER MAHAM BEGUM ... SHE IS VERY HUMBLE AND WISE LADY ... SHE IS MOTHER OF MIRZA HINDAL AND GULBANDAN BANO ... SHE SUPPORTED HUMAYU WHOLE HEARTEDY EVEN WHEN BABAR WAS ABOUT TO CONSIDER MAKING MIRZA HIDAL his heir ... HUMAYU HAD GREAT LOVE AND RESPECT FOR HER... HAMIDA BANO ALSO RESPECTS HER ALOT...SHE AND MIRZA HINDAL WERE GURDIANS OF HER BEFORE HER WEDDING in Hindal harem under his mother dildar begum. She seems to have been Humayun Part 2 in being foolishly conscientious. The most capable son, Mirza Hindal, should have been chosen as Babur's successor, nor just the eldest.

BUt hindal mother and humayu step mother dildar begum ever geneoreous lady who always supported humayu as right ful heir of her husband, emperor babarr... did make hindal understand and hence eventually made hamida agree to marry humayun What a silly thing to do? Another mahaanta expert, obviously!

kAMRAN mIRZA-- he has a 3 yr old son mirza ibrahim as his heir Where is this chap now?

ASKARI MIRZA --- his wife is very generous woman ... they are childless

mAHAM aNGA ---

maham , her husband khuaja gazi and her 2 year old son adham khan was also with humayu small karavan ...

maham was very clever woman , knew how to make ways ...

she was also very intellegent and HER foresight WAS also strong...

khuaja ghazi her husband was simple and religious man... when hameeda bano and jiji anga both got pregnant simeltaneously... maham anga got worried ...she wanted despretely to be a mother... her six scense was telling her tht no matter what she should be the nurse maid of humayu son ... so after constant knocking on her husband head she was succeded to become pregnant after some moths of hamida bano and jiji anga pregnancy ... now she has no care of her husband , adham or any other thing ... she was just in her dream land to become anga of future king of mughal empire .. Now this is side-splitting! She had a second baby just to become Jalal's daimaa? What happened to that child of hers?

jIJI aNGA...

Her name was roshan.. she was very pious lady ...she was wife of shams u din khan who was very loyal, and trusted subject of humayu ... He was also a good friend of his king and very brave and capable soldier... Jiji anga was also expecting and in her full terms.

SHAMSUDIN kHAN

bAIRAM kHAN---

his real name was Mirza Bairam baig ... He was very fierce warrior and very loyal to Mughal empire since babar time. He was military genius, very brave and courageous man ... He was army chief of humayu troops hence called... Bairam khan khan e khana... He was Shia Muslim unlike Mughals who were Sunnis ... Were Salima and Rahim too Shias?

Bairam khan was very ambitious person ... He believed in action ... He doesn't believe in forgiving the enemy or giving enemy another chance ... Unlike his king humayun always looked towards right time, astrology, peace treaty and peace talks ... He can be cruel but not diplomate.

rAJA vEER sAAL --

raja veel saal was king of amar kot sindh ...he was one of humayu friends ... his father was the ruller of tat.tha under babar kingship ... but after seigh of dehli by sher shah ... shah Husain who was one of afghan sardar and sher khan supporter seiged tattha sindh and took wast area of rana veel saal territory in his control... In tht unfortunate war raja veer saal lost his father and eventually became ruller of amer kot ...the left kingdom.

shah hussain was cruel man... he was father in law of kamran mirza... hence kamran mirza was supporting shah hssain and sher khan infront of his own brother and king Interesting. How did Kamran Mirza happen to marry this Afghan girl?

jAUHAR --

he is loyal friend and subject of humayu ... his one of support in these hard times...he is writting his life experiances with humayu and his hard ships.. He is father of 3 old boy Abdul

tARDI bAIG --

he was one of general of humayu army... he was rich and greeedy man ...

Maina Vati ... Bharmal new wife

Padmawati.. Bharmal first wife... Mother of Bhagwan Daas In the film, she was shown as Jodha's mother as well. Here, of course, they have buried her, as they had done with Ruqaiya, Salima and the whole harem in the film!

Rani apoorva Devi... Bharmal mom Aha, my favourite, the Dadisaa!
