Today, was an episode of un-peeling of the layers of the onion in the complicated plots the CVs have entangled us in (now that is a mixed metaphor if I have ever written one but you get the point 😆) ... We saw progress on multiple fronts.

Here is my take 5 for the day:

(1) The Chaand Begum flashback unfolds: We finally know why Maham Anga is after the captive, Chaand Begum: She knows where a khazana is , which includes a farmaan for the Delhi taqth that had been given by Humayan for her daughter!

BTW, are farmaans like coupons that can be redeemed by anyone, the way Maham Anga wanted to use it for Adham Khan? 😆

But if the Farman is for Chand Begum's daughter,how can MA use it for Adham? 😕 Logic questions better not to be answered by cv's 😆

Take a bow all those who guessed that Chaand Begum was mentally unstable and the "child" was not really a child. 👏

Maham Anga has a worse track record than I had ever imagined- she had started a killing spree a long time ago with Gauhar Begum! 😲

If she was behind the treasure, how come she never harmed Jalal? Ufff, Humayun also fancied bandhi's and converted them to Begum's 😆

(2) Jalal- Jodha ka romance: It is impressive with all the scheming and taking care of Ruqs these two actually have time to romance.Yes, I needed to eat something salty after the sugary sweet conversation on "hamara bacha" and how happy Jalal was with Jodha's love for Ruq's baby. What I liked about Jalal was when he was a bit more "teda"

- Liked how he sneaked up into the room to niharofy Jodha 😳

- Love how he walked around with so much of haq around her room and plomped on her bed 😉

- Liked the teda way he said - asking did I do things like hold your arm and pull you towards me ... And doing exactly that! 😆

Some habits die hard- that is the only thing that explains Jodha's "aap yahan" today 😆

And then Jalal had to see the paalna and then the sugary sweet dialogues began!

The scene was very nice. Until the repetitive of aapka baccha Hamara started and loved Jalal doesn't let go any oppurtunity to romance his Jodha. Hope Jalal spent that night with her😉

(3) Paalna reached the right destination: Though the conversation over the baby was a little too sweet and repetitive, what I did like was the symbolism that the paalna had indeed reached the right destination: Jodha's room.

And of course, there will be an "abshugan" for Ruq's (non-existing) child ... What amazing foreshadowing CVs! 😕

Apshagun about the baby which doesn't exist. But one more thing came into light. Our Jodha is a trained nurse 😆

(4) Progress with Shehnaaz: We finally know that Shehnaaz thinks Jalal stole her haq and has been goaded on by her Ammijaan

Question: Did Shehnaaz's Ammi look like the servant Chaand Begum gave the baby to?

Have patience, all your questions will be answered before another step mom comes into picture 😆

Now it seems pretty clear that Shehnaaz is the lost baby of Chaand Begum .. Now, why was she raised with hatred towards Jalal? How old was Jalal when she was lost? Couldn't she have been mad at Maham Anga instead? 😆

Looks like everyone loves to kill Jalal, that's the easy way for them to get the throne.

Dialogue of the Day: Shehnaaz saying "I acted as a paagal because Mugal Sultanate does not hurt people who are paagal. " That explains why most of Agra acts paagal , it is the only way to be safe! 😆

Probably, we sane people are also not safe, as we are still hanging on with this show with hopes 😡

(5) Jalal's intelligence sustains: Getting a second opinion for Ruqs ... This guy is getting sharper by the day. Lage raho! 👏

Hope they retain this consistency

I am guessing the hukka and Jalal angry scene will come tomorrow.

Of course, Ruqs or Maham Anga will do something to the new hakim before she can tell Jalal. Ruqs sounded as cool as the cucumber on her eyes when she asked the hakim , "How is the baby." I am sure she has a plan B!

Yes, truth can't be out too soon,there are more loyal people to villains than to The Emperor.

Today's episode had its share of revelations and their effects.

Revelation - CB had a daughter Nigar, who was lost during battle of Chausa, who had a considerable inheritance, although why the inheritance would be hidden in a hill by the river is debatable.

Effect - Shehnaaz a.k.a Nigar will be pretty rich soon.😆

Revelation - Shehnaaz knows who she is, but, her facts are clearly messed up.

Effect - We might see some 70s Bollywood style drama, where she might run after Jalaal with a dagger, then in the last minute look into his eyes and realize that he's telling the truth about not snatching her haq away, and her portly "ammijaan" confesses that she lied, and tells the truth, and next she'll chase Maham with that same dagger in her hands. (Although the lady humpty dumpty needs to be clubbed for cooking up a bosh like this one, what exactly should she take revenge on Jalaal for? Getting born? Hamida was not even part of Humayun's life during Battle of Chausa.)😡

Yes HB was not his wife and in the episode when discussed about CM HB mentions that, Jalal wasn't born at that time and even Humayun wasn't married to HB at that time, so Jalal wasn't aware about who CB was. So, this stupid reason of Jalal was the reason for Shehnaz's debacle sounds so ridiculous, even if Jalal knew, wasn't it a norm that the son inherits the thrown, at times cv's throw all logic to garbage 😡

Revelation - Shahensha's over-friendly behavior on dhakka night was not because of the nighty.

Effect - Jodha was relieved, and took out her brand new nighty, which she was scared to wear all these days, and wore it.😳

A few observations:

Maham's been a neurotic all her life. Man, her behavior in the FB would have made Alfred Hitchcock proud.

Maham was wearing Colours. Even we got to wear colours on Saturdays in school.

Gauhar Beghum was perhaps one of the only extra who was really gorgeous. But, she was killed with a single swipe from Maham's dagger. Strangely, the forum is silent about the fact that Mughal emperor (Humayun) was married to a pretty "bandhi."

Ja Jo scene. Loved Jalaal's expressions when he entered the room and stood admiring his beghum. And he was wearing the same jama that he wore on SR night. I know some things bring luck jallu, but you shouldn't push it too far.

The empty palna jhulana is one of the most clichd scenes of Indian telly right after, glass breaking, sindoor erasing. So, no baby for sure. Good, I was almost scared that Ruqqu will get some baby from temple steps in her desperation.

No kanghi. Wonder where Shivani got a kanghi from when her elder sister doesn't have one. A kanghi can change your life.

Ruqaiyya is a jinx no matter what. If not her, or her bandhi, the gift meant for her distracts Ja Jo.

Precap - Someone predicted it's not Ruqs that's why the need for face-pack and eye-pack.

Lovely & Lively Take 5 for a not so lively & not so lovely episode!👏👏👏

I felt that this story picked up pace all of a sudden...Yesterday CB secret out, today Shehnaz, tomorrow Ruqs ? No way! CVs will torture us with this fake pregnancy as long as possible for Ruqs downfall is expected only after Maham's !

Here is my take 5 for the day:

btw I did not watch the episode & I do not wish to also ... as i have lost all the interest ... but I do get the gist of whatz been happening from past 1 week ... so the CB unveiling is finally done ... & reading ur take it seems that shehnaaz is the long lost child of CB ... when will the maham's story end ...god knows ???

That is what I concluded that Shehnaaz is the lost child ... But Adia would rightly say that would be way too obvious

I hope cv's dont drag this maham's track too long, showing that akbar has been dethroned by maham & adham is set for ruling the mughal saltanat ... with a note saying uchit natakiya rupantar (if this happens for sure I will dethrone ekta from balaji PH & murder all the cv's 😆 )

OMG, I think Ash (Aashyagh) and I joked once that it would be like the classic serial where we would see a montage of Jodha and Jalal as common people 😆

Coming to the god damn romance of jo & ja ... jodha is still behaving all coy & shy even after ahem ahem ... & questioning Akbar as to why he is in her hojra with a shock 😲 ... seems quite maddening to me ... is she still uncomfortable of jalal around her ...?? i knw not whatz wrong with her ...😡

But Jalal is teda ki teda ... Jodha was just joking - don't take it seriously 😆

I am completely pissed at the cv's the old villains mischievous is still on ... their is no end for it & the recruitment for the new villains is going on ... uff pehle poorane villains se nipto yaar 😡 baad mein naye waale bharti kara lo ... old MU's are not cleared at all ... when will they ..?? is an absolute question mark ...😡

Villains are the spice of serial life! As long as Jodha and Jalal fight against them together instead of against each other I am cool.

Coming to Ruqs - I did mention yesterday that by tomorrow or max Thursday we may see Jalal getting to know of Ruqs ka sach - but in what manner remains to be seen - it may come out as delusion instead of saazish initially but it would come out as Ruqs ka jhoot only when MA gets caught - so till then we may see Jalal knowing that there is no baby yet playing along thinking of this as Ruqs ka delusional fit!!!!!

That would be great and my smart Jalal act would continue! Let's hope you are right.

U r asking how old was Jalal? Forget Jalal. CB was lost before Humayu's marriage with HB. So tell me Jalal wasn't even born at that time. Forget Jalal. Even HB didn't came in Humayu's life that time. So how can be Jalal responsible for this? And How come Humayu gave his delhi takht to CB's daughter. Jalal being the first son has full right on the taqth.

Maybe Adia is right, Shehnaaz is someone else. This is the biggest gaping hole in this track ... Maybe it is sibling rivalry taken to the extreme 😆

As I know Jalal if SN find the farman and came to Jalal with it. Jalal will give her delhi to respect his father's wish. But SN can never sit on Delhi's throne. The Ulemas will revolt cause in Islamic law a women can never sit on throne. And Jalal's enimies will attack delhi and dethrone her. Itna asan nahi hai malika banna. 🤢 .

But they showed that Humayan gave a farmaan to his daughter to rule ... So if Adham Khan came with the farmaan he would get the throne?I am confused!

Jalal has full right on hole Mughal sultanat and he deserve it. This is so stupid and illogical track. Whenever I think CV's can't bring a more illogical track than this they surprise me with next one 🥱 .

So many tracks together MA n CB, Rukku, SN , Adham n Atgah, and then Mahachuchak will enter soon. I don't know where this story is going. SN and Humayu's paigam is confusing me the most. Hope cvs give us a logical ending to this track.

They will trap us in a big web of confusion so we forget all logic

I dont want Jalal to give SN Delhi for sake of Humayu's paigam. Jalal has built this Mughal Saltanat. He deserve it.

He would do it for Humayan's wishes ... What I don't want him to do is give it to Adham if he walks in with the farmaan. 😆
