Do we even need a take 5 today? Today, I found was a day you could not analyze ... You could only experience how love won over everything ...
- Over Ruqaiyya's scheming ...
- Over Maham Anga's conspiracies ...
- Over jealousy, ego, and insecurities ...
- Over everything ... Over all the negativity

It was like a lotus that bloomed amidst the mud ... And did not need the mud to clear to bloom.

Today was not day to analyze the dialogues, the visuals, the camera angles, it was a beautiful journey of emotions to experience and I will focus on that on my take 5 as I know many of us were down in the dumps at the end of the Friday.

The emotional journey starts where it ended on Friday ... Jalal flying in his happiness of being a father (as he shares with Jodha) and Jodha in a kashmakash on why she is feeling so jealous and upset ... And here is how I saw it crescendo into the victory of love:

(1) It begins with mixed feelings: Jalal who is flying in happiness comes into Jodha's room and immediately perceives Jodha's sadness and pushes her to share it with him ...

Jodha finally asserts her feelings and frustrations to Jalal! She knows she should be happy but cannot be.

They both feel what each other is going through and it was beautiful. The fact that they realized they needed to talk about it right then and there was even more beautiful. 😳

(2) Jalal knew Jodha needed only one assurance ... The assurance of his love. He emphatically confesses his love for her, beautifully describing how his heart beats only for her and will always do so ... It will be their love story that will be remembered for ages onwards ...😳

While touched, Jodha is continued to be battling her hurt and having to share him ... Jalal, continues to push on the reason for her hurt ...

(3) And Jodha finally confesses what was always in her heart, that it was her love for him.

Not one to delay ... Jalal asks ... If there is love, then why is their distance? 😉

(4) Loved the push and pull between them ... As Jodha fights with her final kashmakash ... As Jalal goes to leave, it is Jodha who runs up to keep him from leaving ... Symbolizing the end of her insecurities and that she had fully accepted. Loved it! 😳

Though Jalal does confess he wouldn't have left anyways! I hope he will always be Teda Jalal! 😉

(5) In the end love won ... And they become one in the complete sense ... Again, I am not going to analyze the scene. Just watch it ... But loved how the soul talk and even our Shaguni Bai did the honors to describe how love had won over all that night and Jodha and Jalal brought it beautifully to screen.

One note on the precap: I think the sole purpose of it was to show Ruqaiyya her plan failed ... How else was she going to find out? I am sure neither Jodha or Jalal were going to tell her. 😉

I do not think it does any justice to Jodha to compare the hurt Jodha felt on seeing Jalal with Ruqaiyya to the shock Ruqaiyya will feel tomorrow ... As they are just different.

Ruqs could never directly confronted them when they are together so imagine they will not do that again.

This might be my worst take 5 yet ...I just did not want to go into the details and spoil the essence and magic of it ... Yet, I could not skip a Take 5 tonight.

So, what are your thoughts on the episode today?

Ok finally I am on active mode again!!!! Was on faint mode for the last 3 hours!!!!!

Lashykanna, if you see the precap, Jodha is without her maang tikka also - in fact she is without any jewelry, which is as close to a strip as we can ever get in an 8 o'clock show!!!

Yes even I would have preferred seeing a bare chested Jalal and a Jodha under blanket but that may have attracted the censors - so as Trips says - lets all make do with the best software there is - our minds!!!!!

And I would definitely say Kudos to the Director, the editors and the rest of the crew for a very tastefully done scene of physical intimacy and Kudos to Pari's Jodha - And after all these Kudos I will say that every frame belonged to Rajat's Jalal!!! He brought sensitivity, sophistication, passion and that tinge of erotica to the entire sequence - brilliantly done. And he has the best dialogue writers and he does them full justice - with his delivery, his voice modulation and with every extra nuance that he adds to their words!!!

It was a spectacular episode and I love ur take and comparison to the lotus.
Jodha provided enough evidence that she is all flesh n blood and have the normal urges and feeling like other women.
Her admitting her jealousy was indeed a huge step.
Jalaal's reassurance about where the heart belonged and how deep his feeling were was as beautifully conveyed as possible.
The scenes that followed were well taken. Beauiful and passionate.
My wishlist of him removing each and every ornament of hers slowly wasn't quite satisfied but hey we did get to see him peel of her earrings and nose ring...
Of course the romantic in me wanted more...but that's a never ending wish... It was very nice...
The run and back hug of Jodha's took the cake for me...As with the spoilers that showed the turning point where she did finally shed even the remaining itsy bitsy inhibition, reservation and shyness from wanting to move forward in the relationship.
Loved the bit about Jalaal confessing that he wasn't actually leaving. This side of Jalaal is still intact and one of the reasons we just adore his character.
And lashy kanna they are fully clothed😆😆😆 Perhaps we do see a satisfied Jalaal put back his "frock" tomorrow before hugging his begum ad calling it a nite.
Kudos to the creative team and the actors to keep professionalism intact.. They have delivered a beautiful love confession. with this Ja-Jo are commencing on a new journey and lets see how their love endures all the forces waiting to tear them apart.
Lovely lovely episode. Will mull about the pre-cap morrow but for today happy we got a treat on a holiday! I can catch it few times!

Divya, I simply loved today's epi, & your take was fabulous as well. As you have mentioned the lotus, I'd like to add a few words... 😳

The roots of a lotus are in the mud, the stem grows up through the water, and the heavily scented flower lies pristinely above the water, basking in the sunlight. This pattern of growth signifies the progress of the soul from the primeval mud of materialism, through the waters of experience, and into the bright sunshine of enlightenment.

Similarly, the roots of Jalal & Jodha's love are in the muddy filth of their hatred for each other, their love will grow up thru the filthy waters around, & the sweet fragrance of a divine love will be the incense to purify the evil atmosphere.

Today's episode signifies the progress of JJ love from the mud of hatred for each other, through the filth of their surroundings in Agra, & into the evolution of their beautiful relationship & love.

Hey Divya. After so long I'm having proper time to read and post on your thread. No marathon reading for me today. And my!!! what a day to have time 😳

Lovely lovely take on a lovely lovely episode. Today's eppy was indeed a one rainbow of feelings and emotions. And mere words may not do any justice at all. Finally a big round of applause for Jodha's dialogue writers. They gave her all realistic dialogues, no? The envy, jealousy of a wife who knows that she's going to have to share love of her life with other women; no matter his wives, the insecurity of a girl newly fallen in love, the fortitude she's trying to show, everything was brought out superbly.

Aur Jalal to ufff.. He has ace dialogue writers and he makes the most of anything they dish out. His clear conviction about his love, his helplessness as an emperor and sheer love he has for his wife was so touching.. Especially loved Jalal in his attempts to coax her to surrender. He was subtly sensual. Mind blowing..

The scene itself was so artful, not the heavy breathing, kissy-wissy types. But an extremely romantic meeting of body and soul.. Just 👏

BD or no BD, the scene was natural at its best. Unlike their first forehead kiss, this one was good. Their forehead touch, hugs, everything was just the way it should have been. Delicately sensual.

Congrats to the CV and the director to think of something like this and Rajat and Paridhi to enact it even better !!!👏
