Hi Mansi,
Your post is wonderful.
It seems your are an expert in writing analysis of "such😉" episodes. I am waiting for more as many such episodes are in offing. Rofl.
Nice explanation about the dichotomy in Jalal. He does NOT know what's going on in Jodha's mind, and so such 'hichkichahat' was expected (to an extent 😆). Afterall, it's the
FIRST time in his LIFE. And, he reserved his feelings to be shown
ONLY to HER, not before anyone else.
I also loved how they showed the Murti Sthapna. That was symbolic.
The underlying theme was the high tolerance and diversity in practice.
How beautifully these 2 compliment each other.
1. She has shown respect for Jalal and his culture, same is done by Jalal for her.
2. She prayed in Dargah and He in temple.
3. She raised her hands in ibadat and he folded his hands for puja.
4. When Jalal was blasting Jodha that night, and when he raised question on her drinking the Vish. He said one sentence --> "
Aapne sabke samne Roza rakhne ka dikhawa kia". Did anyone notice this.?.
I am not writing this to find any fault. 😊 I am writing this as this shows that Jodha has kept "Roza" as well, which is a fasting ritual happens in the Holy month of Ramzan. (but this was NOT shown, i guess.?.) Anyways, this is another point which shows how beautifully, they both have learnt each other's culture.
SideNote:
{
I hope we ALL know that the Jodha's condition of NOT accepting Jalal's religion BEFORE marriage was ONLY a deliberate LAST DITCH attempt by her to save herself. This DOES NOT show that she did NOT regard his religion. And, Jalal accepted her conditions THAT TIME,
not because of any tolerance BUT because he WANTED to WIN her at any cost.
Infact, when the ulemas, opposed Jalal's visit to temple in Amer, she accepted Hamida's decision and was ready for religion conversion, despite her reluctance, and that was good for Jalal and his throne, but Chisti Sahab's paigam saved the situation.
}
Leaving these points, my clause was that they
both have imbibed so much from each other. Isn't this Unique.?. !!!
Future:1. I will wait for Jodha's partcipation in the
Navroz festival, etc. among others and Jalal's indulgence in her rituals, and the
Jharokha Darshan. 😊
2. And, most importantly i will wait for JJ celebrating the
Ab-e-Pasan.🤣 I know Jalal will JUMP to celebrate this MOST EAGERLY, but will wait for Jodha. 😉😃
I chose to elaborate on this scene as i liked this a LOT. 😊

Edit:Adding details about the festivals i have written above.
1.
Navroz --> This is the Persian New Year Festival. It was celebrated for 19 days, some say for 9 days. The first and last day was auspicious.
MUZ was known to receive "nazranas" from noblemen on this occasion.
2.
Jhrokha Darshan --> In This custom the Emperor used to gave audience from his palace balcony to the commoners DAILY.
3.
Ab-e-Pasan ---> Special type of "Holi" where instead of Colors, rose water was used.😉 (Akbarnama, Volume 2, Page-23, has mentioned this.)
