Initially i was under the impression taht it could be of Jodha's and was horrified to think what is wrong with all in Agra that all are getting Jodha's portrait done. But I think I am wrong.

Wow very interesting! So Ruk is starting her pregnancy track - fake or otherwise?!

I am a silent reader in this forum. I wait for your analysis everyday and must say you write very well. Coming to yesterdays episode, I have two points which I feel was quite significant. Just as Jalal kept saying all these days of seperation that he cannot wait to set his eyes on her again, he never let her out of sight once she reached Agra. It was as though he had eyes only to see her. The other is the realisation of Jodha. During her interaction with HB, Moti, Shivani and Jalal himself, she realised the extent of Jalal's pain and longing for her. The one that stood out for me was when Jodha says 'Shehensha, I need to talk to you' and Jalal says 'My ears longed to hear these words from you'.

From the bidai to arriving - the entire grand welcome ceremony right down to Krishna Murthi sthapana - the Pooja together they underwent all the rituals of a new bride.

When Jodha had come as a new bride only person interested in welcoming her was HB! Jalal was smirking at his victory and he was totally amused at HB and her efforts. Only thing he had found of interest then was when HB had praised Jodha's beauty. 😆

See the difference this time, he did everything to welcome his new bride to her home and gave her such a grand welcome.

After marriage husband and wife together do the Pooja which is asking for blessing for their married life starting. Jalal and Jodha did that yesterday so very symbolic now their true married life is going to start.

I loved the way Jalal did not take his eyes off Jodha till he escorted her to her hojara and even then he kept looking at her face to notice her reactions, her surprise and happiness.

Jodha was shy she kept looking down and then again at Jalal but he did not take his eyes off her for even an instant! Reminded me of what he said just eager to see her face. I think he did not even want to blink!!!

How Jalal held out his hand offered it to her to accept and take her to her home.

Jalal's giving this grand welcome to Jodha was not just to wipe off memories of how she had left but to also remind everybody else of the position Jodha holds in his life. It was also a reminder to everybody that she is his love and he wants Jodha by his side. By giving her this grand welcome he has shut the mouths of anybody who might have dared to talk about Jodha.

I loved how Jodha was eagerly soaking up all the information Moti and Shivani were giving her 😆

I so hope they let go off this formality and Jalal starts calling her "Jodha" instead of Jodha Begum and "tum" instead of aap 😆

Loved both your posts Maddy.. 👏
Which energy drink are you taking? Tell me also... 😛

Me too want that teda Jalal back once he is free of this overwhelming guilt. I want him to take this "taana maroing" to the next level... 😉

And yes, with this grand welcome, he showed everyone what Jodha means to him, once and for all. No will speculate Jodha's place in Agar from now on. She is the closest person to him right now, even surpassing BEK. Ruks will just retain the title of BEK, but will she be Khass to him?

Maddy, "Jodha Begum" has become a term of endearment than the title to Jalal. I kind of like that he calls his Jodha, as "Jodha Begum" when he teases her, when he is angry and also very lovingly. It is no longer a mere title. 😃

I loved your entire post but the parts in bold are just super 👏👏👏
So true in his haram filled with so many there is nobody he can really open upto without reservation who he can take support from who will just be by his side for him - without expecting anything in return.

Notice what Rukayya said yesterday - she said "abtak is haram pe uski hukumat chalti thi wo Jalal ke dimag pe raaj karata tha!!!!!!!" - even now for Rukayya this is about hukumat and control and audha! She said lekin ab ye dil ka mamla hai lekin hum is khel me shikast nahi khayenge! So for Rukayya this is all a "khel" - she does not care for anybody but her own self.

She does not care about hurting Jalal - she wants to separate him from his love for her own audha and position! What a best friend! Who lies to him and is plotting to separate him from his love the instant Jodha is back!

Whatever Rukayya is planning she can go to any lengths now. I just hope her downfall is not turned into a gloryfall!

BTW nobody missed MA and hope we continue to not to miss her from JA soon!

Maddy,

I know you like my lamba lamba posts.. 😉 My finger is getting better.. cannot type fast though.😊

I think Ruks will just retain her title.. but will she still remain as Khass? Ruks always wanted to control Jalal, his mind. Her control is slipping away and hence she is slowly losing her sanity.

But I want Jodha - Jalal's romance now, without the evil could hanging over them. At least for a while let them enjoy this togetherness... CVs are you listening?

Oww thanks Kshithi. We all take the same energy drink it is called JA and our love for Jodha and Jalal.

I know it has become a term of endearment cos he reminds her she is HIS JODHA BEGUM 😉

Still I would love if he starts calling her tum and Jodha in private now 😆

Will have to rucsh to catch my train. and since Manis has covered a greater part since they start the kanha stapana till teh gran d HUG, I have written only on the first part. Hope no one throws anything (even if it is good tomato, too optimistic that no rotten tomatoes😉). however wkill try if I can get my hands on teh compy later in teh day.

Here I go.

Even before their mind decides on the next action, their legs were moving on their accord towards each other and by the time they realized what is happening, they were just a feet away from each other. Though they were engrossed in each other, they could not find voice and all Jalal could do was to extend his hand asking her to give her hand to him, as if to ensure that she is real and he is not hallucinating. Jodha was too much preoccupied in watching his facial features that it looked like an era to Jalal before she placed her hand in his outstretched palm to seal the bond between the two and indicating him that with this hand I am giving my life in your hands and whatever happens hereafter is up to you (whether you keep it safe or not, I am not worried as I belong to you from now on. It was as if she wanted one more assurance from him that she is welcomed wholeheartedly to his paradise and directly to his heart and he ensured to welcome her with outstretched hand that she belongs here with him, and should not have any hesitation in entering her abode. They proved it right that "LOVE IS BLIND" and these lovers went blind and didn't even realized that they were surrounded by the whole Agra and there were some people who burnt with jealous on seeing the couple hand in hand. Ruqu for she could not imagine Jalal can give so much importance to Jodha in public and Adham for Jodha getting so much importance as she proved the threat for his & his mother' ambition while Sharif could not take it as he was letching Jodha and could not bear her totally occupied by Jalal and his charisma.

They walked into the palace hand in hand as if they were the newlywed couple and it was her first entry to her sasural. Only missing were her hand prints on the walls and foot prints on the floor.

wow.. you are a poet at heart Jaya..
Loved it..

Hi Mansi,

Your post is wonderful.
It seems your are an expert in writing analysis of "such😉" episodes. I am waiting for more as many such episodes are in offing. Rofl.

Nice explanation about the dichotomy in Jalal. He does NOT know what's going on in Jodha's mind, and so such 'hichkichahat' was expected (to an extent 😆). Afterall, it's the FIRST time in his LIFE. And, he reserved his feelings to be shown ONLY to HER, not before anyone else.

I also loved how they showed the Murti Sthapna. That was symbolic.
The underlying theme was the high tolerance and diversity in practice.

How beautifully these 2 compliment each other.

1. She has shown respect for Jalal and his culture, same is done by Jalal for her.
2. She prayed in Dargah and He in temple.
3. She raised her hands in ibadat and he folded his hands for puja.

4. When Jalal was blasting Jodha that night, and when he raised question on her drinking the Vish. He said one sentence --> "Aapne sabke samne Roza rakhne ka dikhawa kia". Did anyone notice this.?.
I am not writing this to find any fault. 😊 I am writing this as this shows that Jodha has kept "Roza" as well, which is a fasting ritual happens in the Holy month of Ramzan. (but this was NOT shown, i guess.?.) Anyways, this is another point which shows how beautifully, they both have learnt each other's culture.

SideNote:

{

I hope we ALL know that the Jodha's condition of NOT accepting Jalal's religion BEFORE marriage was ONLY a deliberate LAST DITCH attempt by her to save herself. This DOES NOT show that she did NOT regard his religion. And, Jalal accepted her conditions THAT TIME, not because of any tolerance BUT because he WANTED to WIN her at any cost.

Infact, when the ulemas, opposed Jalal's visit to temple in Amer, she accepted Hamida's decision and was ready for religion conversion, despite her reluctance, and that was good for Jalal and his throne, but Chisti Sahab's paigam saved the situation.

}

Leaving these points, my clause was that they both have imbibed so much from each other. Isn't this Unique.?. !!!

Future:

1. I will wait for Jodha's partcipation in the Navroz festival, etc. among others and Jalal's indulgence in her rituals, and the Jharokha Darshan. 😊

2. And, most importantly i will wait for JJ celebrating the Ab-e-Pasan.🤣 I know Jalal will JUMP to celebrate this MOST EAGERLY, but will wait for Jodha. 😉😃

I chose to elaborate on this scene as i liked this a LOT. 😊

**************************************************************************************************

Edit:
Adding details about the festivals i have written above.

1. Navroz --> This is the Persian New Year Festival. It was celebrated for 19 days, some say for 9 days. The first and last day was auspicious. MUZ was known to receive "nazranas" from noblemen on this occasion.

2. Jhrokha Darshan --> In This custom the Emperor used to gave audience from his palace balcony to the commoners DAILY.

3. Ab-e-Pasan ---> Special type of "Holi" where instead of Colors, rose water was used.😉 (Akbarnama, Volume 2, Page-23, has mentioned this.)
