Nice analysis again. I do feel the haram scene as not an insult. Do you remember the boat ride invitation scene where Jalal told ruqs that "if u really feel that khaas and close to me and I have given right to come and meet me any time. Why you have to send a message though band hi" here jodha also unknowingly did the same thing. It's not about permission at least she should have inform him before open declaration. Instead she called everybody declared the thing to him also along with others which made him feel he is one of all. He is trying to make her accept him as friend and husband and she is still treating him as sheens ha rather than husband which make him more mad at her.

Today, showed a slowing of pace of the track ... With a lot of focus on the emotions of Jodha and particularly Jalal. I believe this weekend is going to be a torturous one- either we will cliff-hang on Jalal's explosion or it will come on Monday. We will be guessing whether Jodha will leave for Amer or not, etc. So, we better come up with some fun weekend plans!😊

In the meantime, here is a take 5 for an episode that I thought was overall good and here is my take 5 with a few detours along the way (apologies in advance for the side notes):

(1) Jodha's guilt: I am glad they are showing a more contemplative Jodha, who is expressing her guilt to Moti. As always, Jalal's life is paramount for her and she wants to find the traitor. I completely understand Jodha's dilemma here- she is in a tough spot and fails to realize how much Jalal trusts her and is waiting for her to open up.

My only thing is I wish Jodha would take her own advice. I remember after the religious conversion issue Jalal had dismissed a few people from his court; Hamida Bano had later asked Jodha about Jalal's decision; she responded that it was good but Jalal may not be always right- he should learn to consult others. Where is that advice right now? She decides to leave the harem without consulting Salima, Hamida Bano, or even her own husband. How will her husband feel to hear in public that she is leaving the post due to personal reasons, personal reasons he doesn't know about. It sounds ridiculous!

first thing, Salima had adviced Jo to leave harem, if u remember, on polo match day.. i know Salima asked her to do it for another reasons, but Jo took the decision for her own reasons... and i will say she is not exactly wrong... if she can't do justice with her work, it's better to give up than complete negligence...

A side note on Jalal's reaction to her harem decision as I do not view it as a public insult. When Jalal yelled at another begum / Ruqs for accusing Jodha, we did not view it as a public insult.

right... coz it wasn't public insult... it was inside four walls of harem, not in DEK... public insult is what Jo faced in DEK while Ruku MC track, or Ben track...

Jodha was insulting the vote of the harem and her role by resigning without telling anyone and that to citing personal reasons that her husband does not even know- can Jalal not show his displeasure?

surely he can... but nothing new in it... he every time does it... and apologizes later... even that we r used to, by now... coz same thing is going to happen here too...

A few thoughts in the scene:

- His sarcasm when he asks her if there are any laws to change: I do not view this as an insult but his frustration with Jodha that he cannot understand her. She goes all out to save people in the kingdom but ignores her ideals in her own home! Again, not going with her advice to start at home.

- I think he was rightfully upset that she was using personal issues as an issue; can he give up his role as Shehenshah for personal issues? And again, what personal issues that her own husband does not know of!

- He was disappointed on why she stood for elections when she did not want to keep the responsibility- wasn't that a question on all our minds and all the begums?

- He also stated I had told that Ruqs was better at handling it more as a warning before she stood for elections; he did not say I always knew Ruqs were better and you would fail

- Beyond all this, again Jodha had not lived up to his expectations yet again- I heard more disappointment than insult

right, Jo has not lived upto his expectations yet again... but has he? remember he has said her, after that slavery track, that he will trust her no matter what...but is his trust so shaky, that coz he sees her with some unknown person 3/4 times , every night, and just coz she isn't telling him, so he loses his trust... then sorry, he doesn't know what trust means...

coz if seen this way, his track record is much worse, and if seen to that Jo should never trust him in her entire life...coz one tricky situation btw them and he is the first person to back off from so called trust, and start humiliating her. that too publically , in DEK.. Jo hasn't backed any time... coz frankly speaking he hasn't given her much reason to trust him...

and as for his disappointment, then he was the one who pushed her to take charge of harem... secondly, that election time also i had said, that she cared more for Jalal's reaction , and his dilemma btw her and Ruku, and she tried to solve it by putting him out of dilemma... for her he comes first, harem and every other thing comes later... same thing is happening here.. suja has told her that somebody wants to kill Jalal, and so her priority has changed... it's Jalal's safety, than harem's well being... and abt her telling him abt her meetings, then what she can tell him? that she is meeting suja... first thing she will be hold responsible as traitor... second thing, few days back when she tried to talk abt suja, Jallu has brushed her off saying he doesn't want to talk to her abt suja... so how can she tell him?

(2) Sword scene:love it every time the CVs show this sword scene with Jalal practicing and his sword at Jodha's neck- this is the third time, and you can see the difference in each time:

First time: Jodha wanted to leave Amer and criticizing Jalal for not keeping his word: he literally lunges towards her in irritation but stops himself and Jodha gives a cold stare

Second time: Recently, where they showed a full 20 second of Rajat's skills; Jalal was apologetic that his sword was so near to his beloved begum.

Okay.. Nice to re- live old scenes now back to today!

Third time, today: Jalal did not seem to do it intentionally but again was close to bringing the sword to his anger and manages to control it and bring it back down. What I loved about the scene today:

- How Jalal showed his anger and frustration- those raw emotions / passion seemed to finally emerge

- How he drenched himself in water ... Almost cooling his anger off to prevent a public outburst. Jalal looked awesome too!

- How no matter how upset he is Jalal will not disrespect prasad

- How he continues to be patient with Jodha and asks her about her lack of sleep

- How Jodha began to hint that what she is doing is related to his life and safety ... Except, it was too little too late to calm down Jalal's hurt mind

the main difference was one more thing... till date Jo never flinched even when his word was at her neck , not even that first time while practicing with him...but today she flinched... what does it mean... AkDha relationship, back to square one... ???

(3) Bonding between Hamida Bano and Jalal: You know what my favorite part of this track is ... Though MA thinks she is ruling Jalal on this one, Jalal is going to everyone but her - Atgah Khan and Hamida Bano. It is showing that he knows Maham Anga is not the right person for this issue. It also again foreshadows that Hamida Bano will take over the role that MA played completely.

Luckily her advice was the right one for the serial (if not for real life), to wait for Jodha to open up. But unfortunately, the hurt is rising like a volcano and I do not blame him.

i wish he takes HB's advice seriously... he will be saved from being proved wrong one more time...

(4) Again Maham Anga continues to read the situation wrong ... She thought Jalal followed Jodha out of distrust instead of worry for her security.

Again, she is reading the situation wrong and is overconfident which is a sure sign of her defeat. 😊

(5) Jalal is keeping this between Jodha and himself: This shows he has already progress post the the Dhakka

- He had shared the Dhakka with both Ruqs and MA; here he refused to share it with Hamida Bano or Atgah Khan; didn't his dialogue that some things you have to face on your own say it all

- I do not view the harem scene as an insult as I mentioned above; he just showed his displeasure and reacted to what Jodha said

- Even in the precap, it is unclear whether the I didn't tell you to sit down was an insult. It may be followed by something like, "Behraar, you are making a lot of decisions on your own these days." So, let's not attack him yet. But more importantly he said taqliya before he spoke to her- he will not say anything to her in public. If he shows anger in private, I am more than happy.

good for him to keep it btw two of them...

Let's see what tomorrow brings ... I am pretty sure they will reserve the major dhamakka for next week.

So, what are your thoughts on the episode?

good episode... but the way it turned today, i didn't like... I really don't want Jallu to be proved wrong one more time when this track will be over... coz if he ever blames her for betrayal, and later when the truth comes out that she was doing all this for saving him, then one more repenting time for Jalal... and this time i don't want to see him feeling ashamed for thinking wrong of her, or insulting her, and then apologizing and asking for forgiveness for MU her... no , I want to see smart Jalal who will solve the entire puzzle, in his own right way, without hurting Jo... coz that will be the only way their faith /trust in eachother will be reinstated... else... ????

I agree he has reason to be upset, he is feeling hurt and till yesterday it was about his not able to get Jodha to trust him, today he started his sarcastic thing again. When he - in Jodha's words - praises her so much she gets giddy and insults her so badly she feels nothing - how can she trust him.

Also when it comes to his life Jodha will do anything at all, not care about her own self to haram kya cheese hai!

I hope no public or DEK insults, I am wondering what we will get to see in this track cos precap reminded me of Ben days!
