Friends, thanks for bearing with my very very short update today. Thankfully the episode was not a very great one ... so a few words will suffice from my iPad for today.
(Good news: my comp is repaired and by today my softwares will all be loaded back, so for tomorrow's episode I will do my usual long posts).
1. Jodha showed Jalal the full extent of the squalor and misery of the ghulam bandhis and also she did not hide the boy Babu from Jalal. I loved the way Jalal remembered his own boyhood without his mother and since Jodha has done a 100% job of convincing Jalal, the slavery issue will be abolished maybe at the jashn itself or just before. Also the precap shows more brainwashing of Jalal by Jodha on this subject.
2. Maham is now playing a different game. She is realising that not only is Jodha checkmating Ruq, but Jodha is also successfully checkmating Maham (as in ghulam baandhi affair) and Jalal is giving Jodha full powers to do as she wishes. This does not suit Maham, but instead of fighting Jodha directly by sneaking to Jalal (which she tried yesterday and failed at) Maham is now resorting to shooting off Ruq's shoulder. Thus even the fights she (Maham) herself has against Jodha, she is trying to convert into a Ruq vs. Jodha issue, and this Ruq is falling for it! See the cleverness of Maham!
3. Sujamal found himself on top of a tree looking down at Ben's burial site (the well with the information board). Now he overheard Sharif call Abul Mali by name so Sujamal has identified Abul Mali and he also saw the henchman standing next to Abul Mali (who will be the assassin no doubt). But Sharif's back was turned to Sujamal so he could not see who he was! Also he knows there is some "sauda" between the two men i.e. Sharif insisting that "I'll make it easy for you to kill Jalal, but you have to give me what I asked for (i.e. Jodha)". This exact sauda Sujamal does not know.
Okay so now the question is: What will Sujamal do with this half information? Can he later recognise and remember the voice of Sharif? Or when Sharif is standing next to the assassin, will Sujamal connect that Sharif was the man who spoke to Abul Mali at Ben's grave? If Sujamal doesn't know the exact sauda between Mali and Sharif, will he be able to save Jalal from assassination and also Jodha from kidnap (because now it seems clear that Sharif and Mali have both Jalal killing and Jodha kidnapping in mind at the jashn!)
Another question: Yesterday Bakshi seemed to get a very clear hint out of Sharif's mouth that he was leching after Jodha. So will Bakshi warn Jodha or Jalal about Sharif, or will Bakshi keep an eye on Sharif and neutralise his kidnap of Jodha? Thus Jalal may be saved by Sujamal, but Jodha may be saved by Bakshi?
Last question: Will today also be a preparatory episode for the jashn or do you think we'll see the jashn starting? The spoilers and Abhay's historical facts seem to say that neither will Jalal be hurt nor will Jodha be kidnapped. So I am keen to see what role exactly Sujamal will play and as a result what will the relationship reconciliation (if any) between Jalal-Jodha and Sujamal? Will Sujamal be a silent but secret helper who then vanishes after doing the saving job, or will he come out in the open and face Jalal and Jodha and Sharif? Will Sharif have to flee after this botched assassination/kidnap attempt?
I've started the questions and conundrums here, and am already finger-tired from typing on the iPad.
So please folks, take it away from her. Let's have all your theories and do keep an eye out for more spoilers today. If everybody can give their theories of what may happen at the jashn, we can see later this week who got it right!
