I f you see yesterday, what was the need of Bakshi to mention Sharifudhin to Jodha ? Why couldn't she share her feelings of missing Chepu with MARIUM MAKHANI HB who was also present in the same hall? That's because JO has managed to get her pardoned there is hope that JO may get Chepu pardoned as well.

Was Jalal making Ruqs jealous done purposely , did he intend to compare the two knowing fully well that Ruqs will be instigated and end up challenging JO to manage the harem affairs.

Reason for Jalal to do this isn't that he doesn't love JO , nor is it that he puts Ruqs down

It is possible that he wants JO to get a first hand experience of reality and come out of dreamland that , one can not keep forgiving criminals for trivial reasons. She gets to see another side of responsibility other than the one where she tries to keep everyone happy by complying to their request and going against the Mughal law.

oh yes it can be the reason that jalal compared ruqu wiht jodha...so that Jodha learns some lessons in handling political affairs..who can teach jodha a lesson other than harem politics...
