Its been a few days since I've done a long post on an episode..so, this is my collective view on yesterday's and today's

Before I start off...Parijat ki jai and Akdha ki jai...🥳

They've proved that when it comes to oozing chemistry, they're not behind any of the other popular lead pairs... if the other pairs are sexy...Akdha are classically sensuous!👏

Also, everything that you've outlined above stands out in the episode - i.e. the scenes if taken apart were brilliant in their own sense - I mean who CAN deliver better than RT, PS and Ashwini today?👏

So, yes their scenes per se were absolutely out of this world...

The main problem I had was with the connectivity between one scene to another..

Firstly, just to portray Tansen as anti-MA they need not make him a male khadoos version of Javeeda. What was that sleeping in the court about? 😆 I can't imagine any reputed musician doing that. Also, I found his acting (be it the strumming of the veena) or the rendition of the song OK! Not the exceptional 'if you hear him, you'll definitely fall in love with the next person' kinda deva-gandharva music! 😆

Tansen was supposed to be an eccentric of an even worse order than they showed yesterday. He was known to even berate the King and get away with it. What they showed yesterday was a very mild form of eccentricity, and even that looked like Tansen was testing out Jalal's mettle. So I am willing to accept his "pretending to be in a deep trance bit" but yes, the veena playing was horrible. Anyone who knows how to play the veena will be aghast!😆😆😆😆😆 As for the song, when it became the Amer tune, I started coming alive, till then it was so-so!

Secondly, I was a bit sceptical about the 'hows' and 'whens' of Jalal's feelings for Jodha in the last 2-3 episodes. During the maalish scene, we'd all pretty much assumed he had nothing special for her - they weren't even awkward - only like two good friends.

Today he's in another league altogether😲

The matter-of-fact manner in which he took the whole letter that stated that she'd like to become ONE with him was a little disappointing for me. That should have been monumental - that should have warranted more 'EMOTION' from him than just purely being elated about the physical aspect of their relationship moving on to the next level. 😊

Actually Lashy, my feelings on this letter are slightly different. I think he's nowehere yet near "taking this letter monumentally". He was more affected by the physicality implied in the letter, as you say, which does suggest that the true love part of it has also not hit him 100%.

He has had amorous feelings, he loves the idea she was written all this ... but to be fair to him, since he himself is not "head over heels in love" he has reserve in his mind (even in his imaginations yesterday) that she may not be as ready to receive him yet. That is a good sign of some respect for her, I thought.

He has lingering doubts on how she would receive his advances, and even in the precap this incredulousness continues. I think he's at a stage of desperately wanting from his side, and he wants to hear that she desperately wants also, but he is not 100% sure and that because hearts have not yet confirmed the "love" part if, only the physical urges have been confirmed ... to that extent I liked the bit of reserve and doubt repeatedly shown in the imaginings!

I think even as he got that letter, some doubts must have been there ... which later got expressed even in his imaginings.

Maybe just a short scene through that typical lattice window where he self-debates on his feelings would have sufficed.

Yes something like that could have been perfect to let us know!

If you don't get what I'm saying - lets see some of the past ones - say, compare this scene to the in-depth one when he'd discovered that lock of hair on his suit after rescuing her from the suicide attempt! At that point they both hated each other - yet, he could feel her sorrow, her emotions...he could discern what she was going through. I'm surprised that this Jalal is unable to do so or act more rationally - like for example having a chat with her about it first. That long chat about music with that brief mention about 'seemaayen toot jayenge' wasn't a proper soulful conversation. Well, maybe he does so tomorrow -but I have my doubts!😕

This looks like a classic case of hormones having overtaken the heart on speed!

Now, with the creatives never having actualy showing us a 'transitional' phase of Jalal's feelings (I think the only scene that came even close to it was the 2 second heart-clutching one when Jo says she doesn't ghrina him!) the way it feels -to me -at this point is that, he's basically just jumped the boat and taken her up on her offer! Nothing wrong with that- he's her husband after all - but, it doesn't make for epic love story, right?

I have NO doubt that he RESPECTS her and LIKES her... but is he really 'in love' with her? Hmmm

Agree, agree, agree! But can we fault him for wanting the physical without the heart in it yet? He has never before stopped the physical for checking if his heart was in it. He has been used to taking sex without love! So I guess he's got some steep learning ahead!

The editing. Be it the first to second scene or first to second dream...what's with the shoddy editing... couldn't the creatives have split the dream sequences a bit more? 😕Couldnt they have emphasized today - on just the last dream (since their conversations there made sense - Jodha was actually refusing that she'd sent him any such invitation even though she WAS blushing and not really spurning his advances!)

They could have reserved the BT scene for another day this week lol. Like when Jodha rejects him, he realizes another day that he loves her when he cant get his thoughts out of his head or something. The editing between one scene to another left a lot to be desired!

Also, it all did seem sudden to me. A day prior to the letter they were just cordial friends and in two episodes Jalal is almost on the verge of turning into a devdaas? Hmmm

Anyway, I would have wished that post Jodha rejection, we got to see an angry Jalal storming out of the palace on a war - where Benazir would have been a captured slave on his return...it would show more break in scenes and look like Jalal had more to do...

Right now the poor lad is looking like he's having less and less work to do around the palace - other than obviously worry and think about the women in his life (add one more to the already long list!)

I hope the episodes after this are directed/edited and transitioned better so the characters' emotions make more sense

Lashy, here while I have to agree with you on the editing, the overall was quite smooth regardless of the editing glitches. As my teacher once told me, "Take the good and leave out the bad, if you want to enjoy anything in life ... otherwise the bad taste of the bad will spoil the good taste of the good." So I am going to ignore what was less than perfect and not let it spoil for me what was perfect!

As for RT and PS...my God be it him tenderly trailing his nose near her neck...or be it taking a gentle whiff of her long tresses...be it running his hands on the exposed skin of her arms or clutching her palms within his...be it playing with her fingers while doing so or be it whispering seductively into her ears -such that it'd make her go weak in the knees...😳 ISHHH😳😳😳

They both were nothing short of AMAZING...and these are the kind of scenes we've been yearning for!!! Since these scenes are so precious, just wish they were dropped in on us a tad bit more gently - with a little bit more care given to how and when they were shown!

How many times have you watched the episode again and again. I am still not finished!

3)the precap happens...jallu tries romance advance on her...thats when her anger blows...and she break his heart by telling him off that till now he has been acting to be nice...he is still the same person...he never changed...he only wants lust and more lust...hearing this off jallu becomes heartbroken and leaves her room...Akdha whole equation will change after this night...then enters benazir who likes him...but he is heartbroken...she will try to seduce him...woo him...but attempts failed as now he has no interest of any ladies...all this will be witness by jodha and realise that this man only wants true love

lastly to add...hats of to parijat...what a chemistry...just sizzle the screens and burn it...their comfort level were top notch thats why this scene even with flaws with editing really touched our hearts...amazing chemistry...brought chills to my entire spine
